Great video! Your video popped up on my newsfeed. We haven’t cruised on Carnival but enjoyed your review of the suite. We usually cruise on a Royal Caribbean.

We had stateroom 12237 on the Mardi Gras. It had a balcony, but the bathroom was extremely tiny. It was bigger on the Magic.

Great video! Great shots and excellent narration! Love the presentation and the information provided. I have sailed Carnival smaller ships, the Legend and the Miracle and had a balcony each time. One was 7 days the other was 10 days. For the money, unless I got a really good deal, or the cost of the balcony was almost the same as the suite, I would stay with the balcony. The best perk in my opinion that was different than the balcony was all the things you mentioned about the bathroom. I honestly would have to see a balcony suite on the Mardi Gras as the new ship may have upgraded the balcony cabin bathrooms as well. Both the Carnival ships I cruised on were about 20 years old and I am on your side about that yucky shower curtain invading my personal space! Argh!
You had more storage space than the balcony rooms I had. Carnival has washing machines on some of its ships, and of course for a nominal fee, laundry service. Packing strategy is an entirely different subject I try to cruise with one large suit case and one carry on. For warm climate itineraries I can usually pack about 8 days worth of clothes and if the cruise is longer than 7 days I get some laundry done. For me things are much easier if I can work with one suit case, especially if I have to fly to or from a port.
Thank you again for "pulling the trigger" and taking one for the Team to show us the amenities of a Suite! A sweet suite!

Do you have priority embarkation? and any other perks form the suite?

Yes! Ocean Suites receive priority embarkation and disembarkation, along with main dining room priority assignments.

You had to get someone to toss the piece of food? Talk about First World problems.
