I just got home 4 days ago from a MSC cruise on the Seashore. I booked an inside cabin, letting MSC pick my cabin. 3 days after booking, was upgraded to a balcony. Very pleased with cabin. This was not my first MSC cruise, never have picked my own cabin, never been disappointed.
Just sailed on MSC Meraviglia. MSC picked my cabin, on deck 14, mid ship. The cabin was below the pool deck, No noise. It was an adjourning cabin. Again, no noise. So I did not have those problems.
Recently booked an MSC cruise and didnt see a gratuities option ..How does MSC gratuities work ..?Do you pay them when booking or are you billed for them at the end of the cruise ?
I disagree with this comment. I read as well that MSC food was rated low. However we have done MSC in February 2024 in the Mediterranean and enjoyed the food very much. The key is that on MSC being a European, Italian to be more specific, cruise line you can expect the European food experience. If you take MSC, in Europe 80% of the guest are Europeans. The MSC offering however does not match the American food experience, which is dominated by fast food. I think actually MSC food was better than I had on Princess from Japan. There although the majority guest were Asian, the food was very American., which did not match the guest. Maybe MSC needs to change their food offering out of the US, but I think American guests need to learn to get an international experience, food included, when they travel abroad. I always find it funny to see McDonalds across the globe having many American guests. They are NOT experiencing the local food. Sad😢

This video is good for people cruising for the first time.

Great tips! But one thing I would like to state, some trip advisors do charge a fee.

Do yo know how laundry works in MSC Seaside, we are going to be for 23 days
None of these are specific to MSC. 🤔
These are not MSC specific "tips" ........ Be careful of pulling money out in the casino without gambling.
Number 1: Expecting the food to be good.
