The mardi gras was my fav!!! We sailed it a few years ago it was super new. The balcony sliding was my fav over the push door on other ships. To sleep we had that door open EVERY night I know you aren't supposed to but sleeping with the sound of the ocean was my mom and my kids fav.
I know a lot of people that sleep with the balcony door open. I think it’s ok.

I didn't know that about the sofa bed. I've never pulled it out! Love that balcony!
I never ask for extra hangers because I always pack my cloth with hangers, we unpack in 5 minutes, underwear in packing cubes, thank God we rarely fly for cruises, so we pack more than Nancy, LOL
How is that possible Mercy? No one packs more than Nancy! 😂

Thanks for sharing this tour. It really helps to know what the extended balcony is like. I think it's on what people call "the bubble." Privacy is paramount for a relaxing vacation and this balcony seems great!

Pro Tip, did you know that if you are tall enough you can sit on the commode if you have leg issues to brush your teeth and just crouch forward and spit in the sink? 😅
For that "extra storage" in the seat we tossed a garbage bag in there then used it for our dirty clothes with an air freshener in it.

You don't have to get the big waters from the bar... you can drink the ones in the room and they just put them on your acct..free gets deducted. I get an ice bucket and ice and the bottle lasts me 3 days depending on how much I drink.
I believe only Gold and above get one big water. But yes, you can do this.
