Wow! I'm impressed with how much you were able to salvage. Dogs practically melt plastic with their teeth. It was fun to see a totally different kind of challenge with this one.
I noticed some weird LCD issues tho. @ 18:29 you can clearly see, that on the left before the red Nintendo Switch Online icon and some lines going from the game icon also to the left.
This is pure satisfying video!❤❤❤ The final back cap clicks just gaved me a super feeling of satisfying 🤤 Congratulations for this art clips! Definitely follow!😉🤝🏼
I only wish I had the level of finesse required to do this. I have to admit that these videos are very satisfying to watch! Thanks for this. Have to admit, it's also very educational.
this looks so amazing! i know it wouldnt have been very practical, but i almost wished the original shell had been put back on, but everything else (including screen and buttons) had been replaced. imagine just pulling out that chewed up looking switch, but it not having any issues.
When I did a shell swap on my Switch Lite (it's atomic purple with purple buttons and a grey 3d printed D-Pad), I had real problems with the L and R buttons, and lining up the springs. I found the best way to do this quickly is to make sure that the button is aligned correctly, without worrying that the spring is in its slot, and once the button is set, use tweezers to push the spring into place.
Love the grey with translucent, did the same with my Switch however used a translucent grey backplate instead of a clear one with a great golden wave off Kanagawa front plate as I don't like the backplate that came with it, kept the golden buttons though of course.
To get fan off without damaging the foam thingi you need to use a hot air station and low heat to loosen the adhesive. With that said you can’t go too hot because your pretty close to the fan so sometimes it’s still gonna rip anyway
Totally dig the new shell. Nice to see another console saved from the landfill. Side question, i have a switch lite with a broken joycon. Works but the top is partially broken. How hard are they to replace? I have done it for full size ones before.
Isopropyl ruins screens and gets in them really quickly, hence it didn't work anymore. In retrospect, it would have been better to remove the screens before removing the battery..
Hi I have a pap that I am havimg a problem getting the directional buttons to work properly.I tried to fix them myself with no luck.Would it be possible to send it to you and have you please fix it for me?
I love dogs but keeping a switch around a dog is just stupid, how is it supposed to know the difference between a rubber chew toy and the rubber on an analog stick? Hopefully they're smarter with their expensive stuff next time.
Cool video but a little disappointed :( I thought you were gonna fix the case of that actual game, maybe customize it to fit the damage or something. This is just taking the good parts and making a Frankenstein game from them. Cool, not what I was expecting tho.
I really dig that translucent back! Companies need to bring this back for new products
Look up handheld legends! I just bought a whole clear housing for $12
Isn’t translucent a clear color so I think it’s transparent not translucent
That dog went to town on that switch💀

The Switch says "NOM" on the back, almost like an omen.
😂
Fully expected the "perfect amount of thermal paste" bit, lol.
Me Too, LOL!

That's not surprising all things considered. I wouldn't expect it to be perfect.

Wow! Well done! Truly a beautiful console. Good choice on that shell!

nice, clear and beautiful work! Thanks for the video!
The joysticks were definitely nice chew toys. 😂

I love the shell combination and especially the transparent back plate. Hope it works properly 🤞
It is working great so far!
@@RestorishOfficialI wrote the comment right before the end of the video. I was really hopeful it would and I am happy it does.

Looks great nice job. Glad you could save some things inside. More than I thought would be useable tbh
Why you not make a new channel were you work together with Steve? That would be interesting, combining your both expertise. An idea?

Wow, awesome job man! 👏
Well done!
That’s incredible dude! New sub
Poor thing, it hurts to see it in that shape
Awesome 🤩 but if you used the same middle frame and old battery could you not remove it in the beginning?
Absolutely fantastic videos man! Loving them! With what are you filming iPhone 14 Pro or 15 Pro?
Thanks! iPhone 15 pro max
I think it would have been cool to be able to use the chewed-up case.
Expensive dog chew toy.
Why would someone put the console nearby of their dog? Many dogs will chew/destroy it. You did an amazing job!
Great job Robert 😊🇹🇭🙏
I came from steve's video on it heh, it turned out super sexy!

Thanks!

Unfortunately I don't offer repair service. Sorry about that, and good luck!
Aggressive baby , interesting words
I just watch his video and now I gotta see how it fix
How much would that cost in repairs?

Switch of Theseus
Woof Woof
This is exactly why cats are sooo much better than mutts
"potato, potahto" Cats scratches everyrhing. I have had both dogs and cats, and have a cat now :)
I dunno about that. Even if I'm personally a cat person, dogs and cats both have their pros and cons. I wouldn't say one's better than the other.
Knew this would be here 😂 always gotta have someone begging for attention
