I have a question. This DOS chart is for roughly 1/4lb of fiber so say I wanted to dye a full pound would you then multiply the numbers in the chart by 4 to get the amounts for 1lb. Once the measurements for 1lb were calculated and you wanted to dye more than a pound would you then take the 1lb numbers and multiply by the number of lbs being dyed to get the amount of stock solution for an entire batch. I'm looking to get into dying but I'm lost as to how much solution is needed to dye a certain amount of yarn for variegated colorways
Thank you for explaining the solution ratios-I could never figure out the website for the dye’s charts.
