2022 BMW X1 xDrive 28i owner here. It's a beautiful vehicle with some minor flaws as stated in this video. I do wish there was an option for blind spot monitoring and potentially a 6 cylinder engine. But so far I have no complaints. As a young man in my mid 20's I feel good driving it, it's practical, and a decently smooth ride. I do find it can get a little bumpy on rough country roads, but nothing to get too annoyed over. MB GLA and GLC series I found to have a much smoother and quiet cabin on the highway, but the BMW has way better fuel economy in eco pro mode than the mercedes. So for me, I chose cost efficiency to be more important than driving comfort (although bmw isnt that bad at all) I know quite a few people with older X1 models, so far everyone has had nothing but good things to say in terms of long-term reliability and comfort. It's a great way to get a foot into the BMW line without breaking your wallet. Comparing it side by side to the X3, the size difference was only noticeable on the outside. From the inside I felt the X1 was just as spacious as the X3, and I actually found there to be slightly more headroom in the back of the X1 over the X3. I would only opt for the X3 if you're planning to get the upgraded engine and the extra options that the X1 doesn't offer to you. All in all the X1 has been sick to drive, I got it all blacked out (front grill and the sides) and it looks really sharp. Highly recommend to get the upgraded BMW LED lights over the standard lights, looks super sharp at night. The handling is great, it got through the winter much better than my 340i xDrive, and was much less stressful on those long road-trips over the 340i. Plenty of space to fit practically everything, I can fit a full sized bike in the trunk without removing the front tire. It's a really nice "Do Everything" car while still looking good and keeping the BMW badge. Awesome car. I'll probably get the X5 in 5 years when I can afford to
I have a 20 x1 purchased in Dec of 22 to replace a 14 X1 that got totaled. Dislikes: I could do without the sunroof completely, and the fabric under the sunroof is rather cheap and worn out looking. Engine isn’t as quick as the version in the old ‘14, which had a few more ponies. Likes: Excellent interior, as I have the sport seats. Non car people have remarked how comfortable they are! Power lift gate is so handy! A mostly quality feel to the car, that I believe Is BMWs best value overall. Excellent LED headlights and fog lights. Insist on these!😊
I am assuming g you mean the daytime running lights, better known as angel eyes. The centre beam lights should be switchable but daytime no, UNLESS you code it with Carly or others.

My friends love my car. It's comfortable, fun and of course beautiful on inside and out. And i agree with them. My X1 is literally the best!

good video. I am buying my wife a 2018 in the spring. I have found it's better to buy a 2 or 3 year old lease return to save 40% off sticker
Must be 2016 or greater or you'll be up shits creek with the timing chain.
X1 is a very economical, Reasonable price and very good drive
I’m getting mine tomorrow!
How was it ?
Dude you're a good looking guy but we would like to see more of the car than your face lol
Cheers
I cant turn off the headlights when my car is idle and the engine is on. Help
