You only live once… get what you want. I have an RR and only have to change oil, tires, brakes and normal maintenance and it has been very reliable. We have to live with the choices we make and I like what I like. Not about the status. All vehicles lose their value the moment they leave the lot.
Land Rover is crap, it’s for status only. If you’re wealthy you can afford the maintenance or buy a new one every couple of years. It’s the same with most of the VW group cars and Mercedes-Benz all very expensive to maintain. I would buy a Lexus for reliability and luxury.
Rumor has it 90% of Range Rovers are still on the road... The other 10% made it to the repair facility under their power while the others are on the road still waiting for a recovery vehicle.
RUMOR? I love hearing things like that - information that even if it were true tells you NOTHING. Just because a Vehicle can make it to a repair facility under their own power is not indicative of the cost of the repair or the time to actually get the parts to repair the vehicles as well. And while the number is under 70% still on the road (In the US for the Defender) - if you had that much invested in a Vehicle, you would continue to get it repaired as well. We are talking about a very low volume of vehicles here - most models sell less than 500 per year. IF they were both RARE and DESIRABLE - they would fetch huge values. THat they cannot give old ones away tells you otherwise
I learned this the hard way. Purchased a 2011 LR4 maybe two years back and its been one of the worst financial decisions I've EVER made! Absolute nightmare and I'm a mug for getting it.
I had a 2014 rr sport HSE and the second my warranty was up i had my own mechanics work on it for anything that i needed. And i have to say i was lucky and never had any issues. i had it serviced, changed brakes etc at a normal price not the rr prices. I've had a great experience with my car. People, it is ok to go with your local mechanics to fix your cars they know what they're doing. Just do your research and you'll find amazing mechanics out there and you'll be paying a low price for fixing your car. (any car) rr even wanted to charge me $310 to change my cabin and engine filters, i said i can change it myself and i did. It was sooo easy. There are things we can do/fix on our cars that we don't know but that can be very simple to do.
My sister with her big retail job, buying a 2016 Range Rover sport despite all the warnings abound. I am not sure what the mileage was, but she paid $27K in 2021. Not to be told what to do, by anyone, she "always wanted one" and it had to be silver. The tire monitors were on when she bought it and there have been electrical issues with infotainment, rear windows and something wrong with rear suspension and recalls were not addressed by the last owner. She is still driving it and will do so until it is dead in the road.
Facts! This exact same thing happened to me. The thing is when one thing goes wrong(especially electrical), they tend to snowball and get worse and worse . First windows don’t work, then radio won’t work, then suspension problems , then the key fob won’t work and on and on.
They say Range Rovers are for the Wealthy💲🫰🏻 🤔... But the wealthy R smart THEY lease and don't keep these newer models.. most of the time you see they have the old classic ones.. and poor people always end Up with the USED💲⚠️💲👨🏾🔧 LEFTOVER leases to finance and keep 👎🏽 cause it's a status symbol !!
@@almac9203 The issue with vehicles like this is that there is no free lunch. You buy it new and the depreciation is a killer...or you buy it after the huge depreciation hit and the repair/maintenance costs are killer
I just bought a 1 owner, 2013 HSE Supercharged 5.0 with 174k miles, absolute mint inside and out, runs and drives like new, Ill be doing all the peventive maintenance myself soon, complete cooling system refresh, timing chains, air struts, previous first owner had just replaced the water pump and a few cooling system parts, but i see all the plastic parts are ready to go, original sticker price was $127k in 2013 😂, I bought it for $109k less at $18k 10 years later and it still drives like new, I only want it to last 4 years and it'll be another lawn ornament next to my 05 RR that still runs like new and passes California smog like nothing.
My family own a 2017..LR-RR Supercharged, 5.0 litre, Drives like a dream in the summer. We live in the midwest, Noticed the vehicle's suspension doesn't like extreme cold temps in the winter days. Throws dash cam signals. Other than that zero maintenance cost so far. Def a head turner in a White on white Cream color with that big body luxury style. We still love it tho.
My wife wants a Range Rover when we retire. I had to remind her what the dealership said last time we bought her a car. We were looking a a Range Rover and the salesperson told us NOT to buy a Range Rover because they are repair nightmares. We got a 2010 Lexus RX350 about 8 or 9 years ago. We never had any issues with the Lexus.
Used Range Rovers make sense if you are relatively handy and can do a lot of your own maintenance. They're honestly not that bad. However, this is a small fraction of the car buying public; if you are not this person, don't buy a used one unless you can afford the maintenance on a $100k vehicle.
@@that_indian_guy_ sorry indian dude, but even if you have that warranty, you still have to pay for deductible and out of pocket money which is still a huge amount of money for some major repairs.
Here is my experience… I have a 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 supercharged, I bought it with a 125k extended warranty… had a timing chain issue which he mentioned… so glad I bought the warranty which cost me 10k, and they have shelled out 28k for my car (and lost their ass by covering my car). Overall, I have a love/hate relationship with my car. It works 11 months out of the year and when it drives, it’s hands down the best SUV and drives so well…. When it’s in the shop, I hate it. I owned an 2014, then 2007 4Runner which never had issues, but there is no comparison in driving experience between a Lexus and a Range Rover.
Madness. I have a 2002 Nissan Pulsar manual with 60 miles on clock that I paid US1K for 7 years ago. It has cost me about US 1K in servicing in that time. It is a car that starts, goes and never breaks down and that's all I want for a vehicle that, mostly, just does the daily commute and transports me to the golf course where alot of people have alot of money tied up in a car to impress people that they don't even like. I have Motorcycles for fun. A Range Rover is like a Beautiful woman ; Good to be seen with but costly and high maintenance. Sorry to any women offended, and I would assume a good looking man is the same.(I wouldn't know being aesthetically challenged)
British cars have always been unreliable even in the 70s and 80s, on the other hand, German cars were pretty reliable in the 70s, 80s and even early to mid 90s.
Crazy !! I’ve been looking at Range Rovers on the Facebook marketplace!! I was wondering why a 2 or 3 year old $100K vehicle is now $50K or in some cases $35K. Wow !!
@@Greth20793 I said I have been looking at them. There are a lot of dealerships that advertise their vehicles on the Facebook marketplace. Where have you been ??? 😂😂
If an older Range appears in an action movie, you can be sure it will crash or blow up. No one wants to buy them used so they usually end up like bad boy getaway cars in movies.
If you are going to buy one of these used, the best thing you can do is switch to waterless coolant. With waterless coolant, there's no water to cause pressure, so instead of running the coolant system at up to 20 psi, it runs around 1 psi. That means no burst plastic coolant pipes, no bad water pump seals, no bad radiators (they have 3: one for coolant, one for engine oil, and one for transmission oil). That will knock out about 50% of the problems with these cars, and when the coolant system fails, you usually lose the engine, which costs a min of $20K to replace with a reman at an indy, or around $40-50K at the dealer.
@@WayToManyAssassinsThat makes me feel good. I want to be your friend so I can be right there when your engine blows and you start to cry! 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩❤️
@@jlharvey9 No mods at all. But you need to get the percentage of water down to 3% or less, which requires extra effort to drain all the old coolant out and may require multiple fill and drain with the waterless coolant. You use a special meter to check water percentage. I use air pressure to blow out coolant from various points in the cooling system. Look up Evans Waterless Coolant. That's the brand I use.
I currently have a 2021 X5 like it very much! Just orderd 2024 RR Sport. Look I do not keep cars longer than 4-5 max! Cars are not an investment! They are tools to get you around, and if you can afford it you ride around in style and performance.
Best comment so far!! Like, congratulations on your 2004 Lexus crossing the 300,000 mile mark. That's literally not even aspirational to me and if the goal is to be "car payment free" to free up extra money you should probably work on generating more income because saving $400-500 / month isn't going to retire you or even get you a reasonable down payment on a home anytime soon.
My old boss used to say rich people buy Mercedes, BMW, ranger over, jaguar, and stupid people buy those cars used, because they want to show what they don't have.
Sounds like you and your boss are pretty dumb/miserable. Buying them used and getting a good warranty/mechanic can be very nice. Even better for the millions of owners who work on their own cars.
The key is to purchase them used certified with warranty or still under factory warranty. Buying brand new is dumb because the greatest amount of depreciation happens in the first 1-2 years. If you lease the vehicle brand new then that’s acceptable also because depreciation won’t apply.
There is no denying that car is a status symbol to most people. If the average American income is 63k, how can one afford a Mercedes S Class at 127k sticker price, and with 6% interest loan it would be a total of 180k paid over 5 years ! Most don’t afford as they are not rich, but would like to be in denial (and try impress people around ) with buying a used Mercedes. If it’s out of warranty - the repairs could get pricey and the tech is not most reliable to begin with. If one keeps his feet firmly on ground -buy a gently used (certified) Toyota from a dealer for a reasonable price and have a trouble free car for ever ! But then , you can’t look rich / and people don’t feel you are rich ! 😉🤫
A guy I know bought his wife a used sport, and at some point all 4 window motors went out in addition to the a/c… in the summer. He took it to a dealer and was told it needed at $17k worth of repair maintenance
Once again perfect timing I just had a friend of mine offer me a chance to buy a 2016 Range Rover for 1000.00 I gently said no thank you and shared your brilliant video right on topic Perfectly done this video is 15 stars out of five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bravo 👏🏽 My very best wishes always from Las Vegas Craig You’re the best 🎉
Haha thanks Craig, much appreciated. Some of these cars are so brutal even if they given for free. Beautiful drivers but so pricey to maintain that it’s costs are in line with annual federal US budget
I have 2016 RR sport Twin Turbo it's usually only the oil, tires, brakes and small maintenances that you will pay mainly if you keep up with it,they LAST VERY LONG 💯🤷🏾👍🏾
I see a lot of these in my parents' neighborhood, in South Jersey. I've heard that these are unreliable, in other videos. Thanks for going into detail about it. I think, in my parents' area, folks are really concerned with appearances. You see a lot of people driving prestige brand vehicles; vehicles it would never even occur to me to look at, as I'm not trying to impress anyone with my vehicle. Range Rover is one of those exclusive brands that says "I'm successful" when you see someone driving one. So I think people are so wooed by the brand, and how good it LOOKS, that they don't do their proper research into the technical issues affecting the car.
Reliability might not be such a big issue with the most recent ones. JLR did a lot of work on quality control under the last CEO Bollore and the ones coming of the production line since 2021 already have a lower number and amount of warranty claims. So maybe getting a used one in a year or two might be an astute purchase
Hopefully, they improve quality. They have good-looking, comfortable and capable cars. It would be sad for the brand to disappear due to reliability issues. But usually , the mkre you have sophistication and innovation, the more the probability of failure.
@@youssefhakim1055 the brand has already disappeared as compared to the 90s here in the USA. I see a Jag maybe once a day in NYC. I see a Tesla every 10 mins seriously. There are times you’ll see 5 teslas a a red light. Same goes for all Volvo and VW sedans. They are irrelevant in America. no one here wants their cars
I had a Landrover 2004 or 05, brand new driving down the street the drivers side window dropped and shattered into the door frame. Mom had one several years later and it was brought in so much for service they just bought her out lol
I am echoing what others have voiced below and its cheap because the maintenance cost is nearly 3x that of other cars. I needed to get my battery replaced and that was $400 which included $150 for labor. My 2013 LR2 that I have had for 7 years also needed the turbo replaced which was $3K. Only purchase a Land Rover if you are going to lease it, no worries for 3 years otherwise do not get one.
I just got a cheap LR2 myself. So far, only had to replace the battery. Everything works, just has body damage/salvage title. Love that thing! Until it requires a repair lol I know I'm in for it.
My parents have been driving a Range Rover and Land Rover since 2002 and NEVER had an issues. Perhaps buyers should maintain their vehicles better? Take care of your ride and your ride will take care of you.
Wholesaled in the 90's, unless the dealer requested the Range Rover, with a customer in mind....NEVER bought them. Today consumers far nore knowledgable. Great overview mate. Beautiful inside, sadly everything else costly. Stay safe
JUNK! I had a friend who was being coerced by his shallow, materialistic girlfriend into purchasing a then 4-year-old LR Discovery. I warned him that used LRs are known money pits, demanding a deep wallet for the inevitable repairs. He caved, purchased a 2016 Discovery Sport originally priced for $50k, paid $13k four years later (2020). Some 3 months into ownership the trannie goes, one month later the computer fails, total cost of repair $10k. He was upside down with monthly notes of $350.00. He ate the loss, lost his girlfriend (a positive, imo), moved on, bought a ‘21’ KIA Soul, learned a valuable lesson and is a happier man today.
Welll....... i gotta puh back a little. I bought a 2006 L320 (range rover sport hse) in 2020 from the first and only owner, off of craigslist ....... a nice lady from Nashville,TN. She lived here in Palm Beach at the time. The point is that i have had no major issues at all. Bought the truck and did basic maintenance immediately... oil change, filters, transmission fluid change, differential fluid change for the 4 wheel drive. Total, about 500 including labor. NO ISSUES. In 22,i changed the battery and spark plugs, total 450. That was mostly labor for the plugs installation. The battery was like 200. If yourgonnabuy used, find the owner and buy directly from them. Get vehicle maintenance information to know where you stand. I love my range and will get a newer one now thst they are using bmw engines and transmissions again. Certain years had jag engines.... NIGHTMARE!!! Mine has Bmw. Oh,i bought her with 119 thousand and change on her. Now,shes at 165 plus. 😊
Let me just say, I have a 2019 RR Autobiography and the car has been a pure joy. I had some issues with the car wifi and i did have a door sensor go. But everything else has been just perfect. I'm a customer for life.
Mayb not such an important issue in Canada, but ac systems are also pretty important........and super expensive depending on what craps out. Thanks for the video Mark! Kinda miss the "life's too short to drive boring cars" intro!😊
for the prices of these vehicles, the customer deserves a vehicle that is reliable and affordable to maintain. i dont know why land rover doesnt get their act together before the company becomes defunct
They have been getting away with this nonsense for over 40 years. Customers love them and seem to accept that reliability just isn't part of the package. Funnily enough the newly rich Chinese customers weren't told that Land Rover products weren't reliable and they weren't quite as understanding.
I have to say after a previous range rover sport owner i did my research in search for a new car and i chose the lincoln aviator. i test drove it and fell in love with it. especially the interior exterior and the 400 hp it brings. Hopefully i get it this week!
287k on my 2011 LR4 HSE 5.0 V8 still running like a champ.. Interior still 98% perfect.. Tons of great aftermarket parts available and a pretty easy vehicle for the home Machanic to keep on the road..
I love Range Rovers. They’re always gorgeous in design, have the latest tech, and have a road presence like no other SUV(When New); The ultimate status symbol SUV for affluent buyers. But I do tend to notice that as they age, the engines gets noisier, the air suspensions start failing, and a plethora of other problems common to the brand start manifesting. That is not good. I once knew of a couple who bought a late model one that was out of warranty, and shortly after purchasing it the air suspension failed. 13k to fix so they left it like that. Making payments and your shit is broke, no thanks Land Rover
Nahhhhhh sorry sell your bulky heavy bag of bolts quickly lol😂😂😂 be honest with yourself you only bought it bc it was affordable and it made you feel higher up…. It’s just a badly made vehicle…. You’ll be hurting and hating your life every year you own it… it’s okay to call fold pull back from the table and find something else 😅

I LOVE my ‘06 LR3! Fully capable off-roader at 1/3 the price of a new Jeep! Riding in style and for solo 4x4’ing too! I love them so much I just picked up a ‘13 Range Rover HSE Luxury Sport at a great deal as a needed a transmission, and just had timing chain done. I feel safe, and know I’m in one of the best off-roaders on the market for the weekends. They drive beautifully, and if you maintain them well, anything else in any other car will need something too. I don’t take mine to the dealerships, and they’re not that hard to work on. Been through all the typical issues, but you ride in style, comfort, and capability. I’m a complete Land Rover/Range Rover convert after having owned a Jeep that broke down way more, and didn’t drive nearly as well. For 1/3’rd the price for a used one compared to comparable newer rides you get way more. Great video.
I think it also comes down to whether or not car enthusiasts are seeking the vehicle to customize it. Most older SUVs aren't going to be as popular as certain sports cars or even sedans because those are the cars people look to buy and customize when cheap. For example, Honda S2000s, Mazda RX-7s, Honda Civic SIs, specific 6th - 7th generation Toyota Celicas all hold good value because they have large communities of people who seek to buy and customize them. Some people buy old SUVs to customize them, but it's not yet popular enough to keep prices high. Now if we're talking vintage SUVs that are already remodeled, that's a different story. Since I've already done this with 2 sport coupes and own a 2021 WRX STI, I'm looking to buy a 2006 - 2010 Range Rover Sport and customize it as well. I have just recently learned it has a pretty nice aftermarket, so I'm looking forward to what I come up with. There are some very cool things you can do with these types of SUVs and I believe the more car enthusiasts come to realize that, the higher these prices will increase in the future. That is of course customizing SUVs ever becomes as popular as some other vehicle types...
After the warranty expires they still breakdown frequently and repairs are expensive, alwsys, always buy the extended warranty if you must have a used one.
In the past twenty years, I've owned five Range Rovers-starting with a 1995 model, then moving on to a 1999, 2006, 2013, and most recently, a 2019. Among these, the only year that caused any trouble was the '06, although the issues were quite minor. I still own the '06, '13, and '19 models, and out of all of them, my favorite is the 2013. I'm not particularly fond of how modern the new 2022-24 models are. Just a reminder, if you haven’t owned or driven a Range Rover, your opinion on them is relatively worthless.
I own a 2015 Evoque Pure Plus and love it. No issues here. Regular maintenance and seasonal tire swap is all I have had to do. I agree, most have not owned one but have a lot to say. I would buy one over again. No problem.
Running coolant through throttle bodies has been around since the late 80's. The reason is not to cool the throttle body but to heat it with hot coolant during cold weather so the throttle blade doesn't ice up and get stuck.
Owning a Landover is diffently a experience. The RRSC, a complete beast! The 520hp has you high as a kite. The Lr3 is rugged and so comfortable to ride. The D2 is pure heavy metal and thus far the most reliable of the 3. The D2 is so classic. They are amazing and high maintenance. If you love them you don't care. Regular Maintenance and being and finding a few good mechanics are key. Research is highly recommended before you have any work done. Lots of inflated repair shops so take care.
Range Rovers are the perfect cars for a company 2 or 3 year lease. And all the loaner cars you get while it is in the shop are likely to be upscale as well.
I got an lr3 8 years ago. It's a weapon on the snow and drives like a tank. Very reliable with the ford engine. Didn't get the BMW engine and the truck is reliable and great to drive.
Hold on. Even the V8 AJ133 Jag engine is... cough... cough a Ford Coyote unit. You'll find FoMoCo stamped parts all over it. I don't care what Jag says, there was never a Jag engine building plant in Dagenham London. Its a Ford factory; I've walked around it twice!
You make this video to get likes and it worked. Most people can't afford, but want a Land Rover. So they look for excuses not to feel so frustrated. Yep, I own one too! Had is for 2 years now and it has been great. I am the second owner. 98K's on the vehicle. Regular maintenance for me. Service and swap out seasonal tires. I love it! There will always be Betty downers on any vehicle. Most don't or have never owned one. Cheers from Canada
And We are not the King or Queen of England that have *"others people money"* to pay for the repairs. I had a 1974, replace the dual motorcycle carburators for monoport fuel injection, solved that problem. On the 2005 replace the engine with a Corvette's one, got rid of 75% of the problems
I had a 2001 LR Disco SE7. Within 2 years: Air suspension went out. Replaced with regular coils - $2500. One engine coil died - $1800. The other engine coil died - $1800. Alternator popped out. Don’t remember the $$. Oh, don’t forget the overly expensive oil changes, tires, brakes. Just for the privilege of getting 15 miles/gal going downhill. During the 2008 economic crisis. My ex finally totaled that POS and I was a very happy man.
The reason they are so cheap is because they are junk. The only advice I could give to someone who wants one is this. Make sure the rear window defogger works. Because if it’s cold outside then your hands can stay warm why you push it off the road.
Wife was in the market for the new Defender 90, no stock in the DC metro area. Sales guy said there would be a market adjustment to MSRP. He could not guarantee the amount at time of delivery, $5K now maybe more in 3 months when delivered. Glad I convinced her to forget it.
i own two range rovers, 2016 sport amd 2012 evoque and it got a massive hit. it lost 80%of its off initial price we paid. nevertheless, with this great coast come luxury and an amazing ride quality.
With the ford diesel engine which is prone to total engine failure, cranks snap, oil pumps fail, turbos fail even in well maintained vehicles. A German engineer has a channel dedicated to his rebuilding LR, latest catastrophic engine failure at 60k kilometres with snapped crank.
Because the cooling parts are made of plastic and sit under the supercharger. So when it leaks, and it will, it’s gonna be a major repair. 5000 and up.
Double that if the engine warps. The problem is when the craptastic cross-over pipes leak, the engine coolant temp stays the same, there is no sign or warning of the engine overheating other than the low coolant warning triangle.
So far, the Range Rover SVR Carbon Editions 2021/2022 (fully loaded) are not taking much of a hit in the resale market, and holding strong valuations. This is probably because of the fact that the model IS in fact a legitimate high performance SUV. Secondly, they were only made in limited quantities. The 2021/2022 SVRs are real performance beasts, which may end up becoming collectible in that Land Rover has discontinued the supercharged engine for the 2023 SVR's twin turbo engine.
To be fair, most but not all of those used ones were most likely owned by people who couldn’t afford them in the first place. Ya they are spending to have service done at a shop. But to my point most people want to look rich and buy one. Never service or maintain them, then trade them in.

Well hopefully it runs a long time

Cheers

what if you get a comprehensive warranty
@@that_indian_guy_ sorry indian dude, but even if you have that warranty, you still have to pay for deductible and out of pocket money which is still a huge amount of money for some major repairs.

That’s a big reason why used prices dump line they do
I think they trashed a lot of them on Hobbs and Shaw!

That's literally not even aspirational to me and if the goal is to be "car payment free" to free up extra money you should probably work on generating more income because saving $400-500 / month isn't going to retire you or even get you a reasonable down payment on a home anytime soon.

Right on!
My bmw was the bomb, regular scheduled maintenance and it'll be perfect

Routine maintenance & taking care of one's car solves most of the problems listed by 'owners'.
Reliability might not be such a big issue with the most recent ones. JLR did a lot of work on quality control under the last CEO Bollore and the ones coming of the production line since 2021 already have a lower number and amount of warranty claims. So maybe getting a used one in a year or two might be an astute purchase
Astute purchase...Lexus.
Reliability will ALWAYS be an issue with this crap! No matter who the CEO is! It’s in their DNA 🧬
I had a Landrover 2004 or 05, brand new driving down the street the drivers side window dropped and shattered into the door frame. Mom had one several years later and it was brought in so much for service they just bought her out lol
Had that window experience with a BMW.
If you need a mechanic to change a car battery, you have other issues. 😂
My parents have been driving a Range Rover and Land Rover since 2002 and NEVER had an issues. Perhaps buyers should maintain their vehicles better? Take care of your ride and your ride will take care of you.

@@ECPPtell me about it. Always with every vehicle I’ve ever really wanted.
Thanks so much and that’s an interesting point. Many people love making their own car to their tastes.

Don’t remember the $$. Oh, don’t forget the overly expensive oil changes, tires, brakes. Just for the privilege of getting 15 miles/gal going downhill. During the 2008 economic crisis. My ex finally totaled that POS and I was a very happy man.
Omg, I was just noticing this the other day! I was looking at them last time I needed a vehicle and quickly ruled them out as an option. They’re junk.
They can be very expensive to fix
The reason they are so cheap is because they are junk. The only advice I could give to someone who wants one is this. Make sure the rear window defogger works. Because if it’s cold outside then your hands can stay warm why you push it off the road.
Nothing like a Toyota and a lexus. Reasonable repair cost and extremely reliable period..😅
Do you have problems with them?
I want to get a supercharged 2015 SE Sport.. I'll only keep it for a few months to trade it in! Am I making a good or bad decision???
Russian roulette with your wallet.@@ytyoungrichnhigh
With the ford diesel engine which is prone to total engine failure, cranks snap, oil pumps fail, turbos fail even in well maintained vehicles. A German engineer has a channel dedicated to his rebuilding LR, latest catastrophic engine failure at 60k kilometres with snapped crank.
Thank you!!! I would have loved to purchase a used Evoque; seeing this video has potentially saved me from wasting a lot of money.
I have a 2015 Evoque with 70K miles on it and honestly have had zero issues other than a rock hitting windshield creating a quarter size crack.
Range Rover is just good for showing off rather than an average daily car
That’s fair
I have a 2018 HSE Range Rover. I love it no problems at all. Best car on the road as far as I’m concerned.
😆😆😆
My friend has an svr. It has a porsche super charger fitted.
To be fair, most but not all of those used ones were most likely owned by people who couldn’t afford them in the first place. Ya they are spending to have service done at a shop. But to my point most people want to look rich and buy one. Never service or maintain them, then trade them in.
@@johnbrooke9948 Porsche doesn't make Superchargers. What are you talking about?
I love TH-cam videos hating on British cars...... they just help keep dropping the prices on all them beautiful British machines.... Iev had my HSE for over 10yr running strong and proud.
Very informative.
You look like you can be John Walsh's son or brother from Americans Most Wanted. Great information..drove one and it drove so good. However you answered a lot of the questions I had...back to a lexus..thanks again.
Wow, thanks
Awww man this was my dream SUV.
You might consider a dream of going to a dealership for services.😄😂
this guy word for word described all the things wrong with my LR3,, trunk hatch, transmission, and throttle body. what a shame because I really likes this vehicle it's just not reliable and expensive to fix
All those Range Rovers, Land Rovers, Jaguars, BMW's, VW's, Audi's and Mercedes are big piles of junk.
You've come a long way, brother.
I am considering a hybrid in the future. 40-50 mpg is good as long as the repair and maintenance cost is not too high.
Cheers
As a prior Land Rover owner, these vehicles are trouble. They are nice to drive, but NEVER buy, Lease. Hand it back when the Lease is over… buying manufactured Lemons is not fun.
That’s fair
Unfortunately Range Rover is mafe in England which often means junk.
Been driving lr/rr since 98 had minor issues over the years but I wouldn't look at any other SUV.
Cheers
7:54 I thought Canadians got in legal trouble for being that based in public.
Much respect sir.
Thanks, we are all good other than the feds want to limit our speech
Excellent video. You just presented the truth. Appreciative!
Land cruiser will out last any suv, ranger over just looks good
Always look forward to your videos 📹
Thank you very much
My Chrysler caravan is the best low Mainenace car I have ever owned, almost 300 k. Only changed battery underneath hood.
Range Rover doesn’t make money off their cars but for their repairs
In the UK we have a lot of independent specialists for these cars.......... $400 - $500 for a simple service......... basically nothing
There can be some great buys on the used market
Good on you for calling out the dictatorship and exorbitant carbon taxes in Khanada.
Thank you. I know I am not a political channel however these recent moves by the feds is creating a lot of damage
Great video! Thanks for sharing. How about the Evoque 2022? Is it as bad as the Discovery Sport?
