Nice review and now subscribed I'm currently a driving instructor and use the mk6 Polo 2.0 Gti which in fact is very easy to drive even for inexperienced drivers however this car is already on my radar thanks dor the great review and currently working through your back catalogue
That’s a heck of a learner car, we recently drove the latest DSG GTI, shame no manual - reminded us of our Mk2 Valver. Thank you Chris for the kind words, lots more coming
Nice review, had a test drive in one yesterday, overwhelmed with it, so I ordered a new one, pick it up next week.

@@PlanetautoUK the test drive I drove was lapiz blue, with akropovic exhaust, 19 in alloys, and winter pack, it had done a 1000 miles, was going to buy that, but they offered me a brand new one, indium grey 19 in alloys , winter pack , dcc, pay for 1st year tax, and it was £1500 cheaper than demo, so went for the new one, 👍

@@PlanetautoUK Is it the seating position? I'm not a fan of SUVs at all, I'd rather a Golf R if I was buying but I'd be afraid of it being stolen
No, it’s the fact it’s different, one of our favourite vehicles ever is the Kodiaq vRS, our Merc is like driving on the floor as is our ej9, and of course the Mk2 Golf GTI, this and a Polo would be ideal.

@@Edvard.Munchkin we love our pillarless CE C124 or also known as W124 Coupe E Class - it’s our everyday car, very different to the press cars, and an experience every time you drive it. We can’t wait to get the Vivic ej9 and the Mk2 back on the road.
Keyless entry is a deal breaker.
None of our cars open without a key!
@@PlanetautoUK Most people don't realise the EMFs they are sitting in with keyless entry and of course the vastly increased risk of theft.
Yup, used to be just a screwdriver and a coat hanger, they’re getting more advanced, however thieves get better toys too, thank you The UC

Seats are ugly the lower trim leather seats are 100 💯 times mor luxurious
What floats your boat, I prefer sporty simple seats in fast models, buckety but simple, thank you Sam Sam
These seats are so comfortable. And they look good, I get comments all the time
