Just a thought, you could cut the long wing in the middle and spread the halves out to where you want. Then you'd only have to close/fix the gap in the middle. Might save a little effort.

Hey SprayWay just making sure you good haven't seen a latest obs having SprayWay withdrawals LOL . wanted you to know i saw where a another youtuber after sanding guide coat he uses a product called Quick check it's a gloss simulator he sprays it on and gives the effect of the panel being clear coated to see what the panels look like after block sanding have you ever use this? i may try some on my 98 obs as my 65 yr old eyes miss a lot of imperfections and was told that when you paint candy's and pearls ya better make sure your panels better be straight

Amazing seem less work dude , I was trying to do the same with a spoiler on a flat deck lid , I used tiger seal to bond it and the body filler kept cracking I’m guessing because the tiger seal flexes.
I almost pulled the spoiler from the lid and smash it over my knee , 3 years later it’s still in the shed waiting but I still have PTSD from it😂

Question SPRAYWAY? is the tailgate spoiler bottom supposed to line up with the corner bottoms? i have tried everything to keep a straight body line all across the bottom but the only way i see is to cut the tailgate spoiler up just to where the screw holes are in the spoiler what say you? whish i could send you a video/ pic, which is worth a thousand words LOL

The bottom on the one I did was not straight it had somewhat a v shape in it…just make sure your tail lights can go in and out and you’ll be good.

What do you use to clean your blocks when they get sticky sanding dust around the edges of the surface the sandpaper needs to stick to?

Some of those wings are designed to fit over a bed rail cap set...maybe that was the issue with this one. The side caps do look like NBS though if you consider the gap around the tail lights. Might be both problems.

Hey spray way are you putting the fiberglass bondo underneath the spoiler? or just on the outside only? forgot to tell ya, I used a utility knife to cut back my tailgate bedliner once you score it it peels right off :)

Sprayway, is it my eyeballs or does the passenger side bedside push out at the tailgate. You can see a big daylight gap before you start cutting at the masking tape line. Driver side gap is a lot less, looks like the right hand bedside is bowed out.
