This rather looks like plot. Especially how easy it all went down. We have seen what nine tales can do only being 50%. So, what we see here is really just plot, making madara stupid and nine tales weak so Hashirama can win.

Being Jincuriki doesn't make you strong. You need to use this power right. Naruto had just 1/2 of Kurama and his feasts was far better than full Kurama's or other Jincuriki's with full power of tailed-beasts.

Still vastly prefer this version of the fight over the manga/canon version. This one still looks like a reasonably Kage level fight as it was made before Kishimoto introduced zombie Madara, threw the power scale to the garbage and wrote himself into a corner. This is still somewhat a ninja fight as opposed to a god fight. The only thing from the manga fight that I wish this one had is giving Hashirama a sage mode (but changing absolutely nothing else in the fight: same techniques, same everything else). It makes his overcoming both Madara and the nine tales look more balanced as it would mean Madara used a tailed beast while he used the nature around him, putting them at closer level than Hashirama simply defeating both of them by himself does.
Totally agree with you. Sage mode for Hashirama so he can get the boost needed to put Kurama to sleep while fending off Madara, and once it's done it wears off and they get to the good old basics: tools, weapons, small but targeted jutsus, and good old martial arts.

Not really, Mokuton was just known for being able to control the bijuu, and the nine-tails actually held up really well. Also he was being controlled by madara, so he probably was less effective than he would have been if he was just rampaging.
i like the actual fight with the statue and the susanoo but damn this version of the fight looks more like, you know, how ninja would actually fight. i mean, not really, but it looks more in line with what we're supposed to expect from the rest of the show after seeing the earlier fights with zabuza and haku

This fight is far better than what they did in the Anime. Just straight up trading attacks and we were able to see a glimpse of Madara's Mangekyo Powers.
It's stronger because of Hashirama's immense chakra reserves and his ability to produce new wood everytime he is struck by fire, thus gettind rid of the burnt wood. Also let's take into consideration that Mokuton is made out of Doton AND Suiton, so Hashi could create some sort of wet wood to counter fire.

Naruto with the sage if six paths mode was swapping hands with Juubi Madara and otsutsuki. Hashirama flat out said that Jubito was stronger than himself. That is a valid enough argument that puts Naruto in a league above any other character in the series, Hashirama included.

Exactly. People like sasuke , itachi had a lot of strength hence they were able to use susanoo. Hashirama's legendary strength allowed him to use wood release while his brother who wasn't that strong could manipulate water and make it appear out of nowhere.

Still vastly prefer this version of the fight over the manga/canon version.
This one still looks like a reasonably Kage level fight as it was made before Kishimoto introduced zombie Madara, threw the power scale to the garbage and wrote himself into a corner. This is still somewhat a ninja fight as opposed to a god fight.
The only thing from the manga fight that I wish this one had is giving Hashirama a sage mode (but changing absolutely nothing else in the fight: same techniques, same everything else). It makes his overcoming both Madara and the nine tales look more balanced as it would mean Madara used a tailed beast while he used the nature around him, putting them at closer level than Hashirama simply defeating both of them by himself does.
Totally agree with you. Sage mode for Hashirama so he can get the boost needed to put Kurama to sleep while fending off Madara, and once it's done it wears off and they get to the good old basics: tools, weapons, small but targeted jutsus, and good old martial arts.

Probably because there was no fitting time to introduce it. This OVA seemed perfect, sadly there was no explanation to it. But you can see that he resets time for 10 seconds. Though he may use it in the next chapter (if he still is able to access his EMS). I guess I don't need explain as it would be a spoiler for those who are not on the latest chapter.

Not really, Mokuton was just known for being able to control the bijuu, and the nine-tails actually held up really well. Also he was being controlled by madara, so he probably was less effective than he would have been if he was just rampaging.

i like the actual fight with the statue and the susanoo but damn this version of the fight looks more like, you know, how ninja would actually fight. i mean, not really, but it looks more in line with what we're supposed to expect from the rest of the show after seeing the earlier fights with zabuza and haku

This fight is far better than what they did in the Anime. Just straight up trading attacks and we were able to see a glimpse of Madara's Mangekyo Powers.

It's stronger because of Hashirama's immense chakra reserves and his ability to produce new wood everytime he is struck by fire, thus gettind rid of the burnt wood. Also let's take into consideration that Mokuton is made out of Doton AND Suiton, so Hashi could create some sort of wet wood to counter fire.
