Two of the legendary characters that changed, history of ninja world. Journey of two boys from powerful clan who meets as stranger and soon becomes friends and than swan enemy unfolds as follow.
Hashirama continues to tell his story about their friendship with Madara Uchiha, when at their younger years they meet at a river and a frustrated Madara tries to skip his stone to the other side. Hashirama surprises Madara by skipping his stone as well and reaches the other side of the river. As Madara vents out his frustration, a feeling humiliated Hashirama apologises to Madara and they started their unique friendship despite not disclosing their surnames. Back in the Senju clan, a funeral for the fallen ninjas including Hashirama's younger brother, Kawarama, has been held. Hashirama vents out his disapproval to his father about children being put to war but his father punches Hashirama. Hashirama talked to his brothers Tobirama and Itama about the ongoing war with the Uchiha clan and the utilisation of children to fight its adversary. Another fight erupts with the Senjus against the Uchihas and Itama has been killed by Uchiha shinobi. Hashirama arrives late and saw his brother dead. At the river, Madara notices a depressed Hashirama and Madara had the same feeling as well where he reveals that he had also brothers who are fallen to the ongoing war. Despite their depression, they continue their training and their friendship blooms as well. After their training, Tobirama arrives to Hashirama telling that their father has something to tell very important. At the Senju clan, Hashirama's father, Butsuma tells them that he asked Tobirama to tail Hashirama and the boy, Madara, being acquainted to Hashirama hails from the Uchiha clan noting that Madara killed adult ninjas from their clan. Butsuma warns Hashirama that this could lead to treason and in order from being punished, Butsuma asks Hashirama to follow Madara after their training and if Madara becomes suspicious, Butsuma recommends Hashirama to kill Madara.
And so, the rivalry between true friends begin which even got worst when madara's brother died. However, hashirama won at the end and proposed a trues and become one once again and for the sake of his brother and also remembering his old friend. They were the first to build the hidden village in the shinnobi world "village hidden in the leaf". However, the trues did not stay for long and rivalry began once again leading to madaras and hashiramas demise. - บันเทิง

For Mito's case I don't think she died because of the extraction of the kyuubi from her. Besides she's an Uzumaki and don't forget the fact that she has the Byakugou seal.

Hashirama is so underrated. I mean this dude's nickname was "GOD of Shinobi" and he lived up to it. He was able to take on Madara while he had EMS and perfect Susano, held back in the fight because he didn't want to kill his friend, and still win. What a chad.

Naruto was born a loser and got his power ups from the Sage, just like Sasuke. They were basically equal power wise at the end of the war arc where as Hashirama was born a prodigy and mastered wood style and sage mode. No one in the history of Naruto was able to master wood style on their own without Hashirama cells. So yea Madara had the tougher opponent. You know what makes People great, "their intentions".No matter what happened in past Hashirama was always ready to be friends with Uchiha clan, he tried every possible thing to establish peace ,that is what makes him great , he was even ready to give his life, that's why we called him God, even after Hashirama , senju's like Tobirama was always working for the betterment of village, Tobirama created system like chunin exams , ninja police etc that every other village followed.
On the other hand these Bastards Uchihas were driven by their own ego and revenge, they literally can't handle emotions ,somebody is upset because his Girlfriend was killed,somebody is upset because his brother was killed, Madara never understood that his brother was killed because of the war he himself created, Fugaku,Mikoto, Itachi and Shisui were real Uchiha's because they lived for village , fought for village and died for village, rest everybody was an egocentric asshole. No matter how powerful your eyes are if you can't see "collective good " from those eyes you are an idiot and defeat becomes you're destiny, Madara lost to Hashirama, Izuna lost to Tobirama, Obito lost to Kakashi and Sasuke lost to Naruto.

Enigmatic Gale Oh yeah he does use it then. In fact his use of Izanagi is itself a plot hole. The use of Izanagi lasts 60 seconds at its peak, hence why Danzo just came back to where he was already. That means Hashirama would have had to fall for him pretending to be dead all the while up until then burying his ass. Which means Hashirama is retarded. There is no other explanation for why it worked. In fact that doesn’t work either because it would have healed his wounds and as such there is no way Hashirama wouldn’t have known he wasn’t dead. So how did Madara get out of the fight alive?
