Wow the way both ghost dog and rza passed each other and stopped and recognized each other’s skills and greatness and showed respect to eachother is the exact way that samurais in the feudal era days used to do when they were walking past eachother in the Japanese Forrest on a different journey of paths 🙏🏾
It has to do with the quote at the beginning. One cannot revert culture as the world advances (going back to the spirit of past ages.) Even though Ghost Dog and RZA would like to revert to the spirit of feudal japan, they can't. But they still make something out of that generation by applying the samurai philosophy to their lives.
