Thanks for the video man! I made the mistake of not tightening mine up as much as you did (was worried to screw in too much into plastic) and I already stuck the cover on. Any idea whether removing the cover again (hopefully without doing any damage :$) will allow it to stick again? It’s a bit loose right now
Of course man, thank you!! As far as your concern, I’d say it would be hit or miss. Would be slightly risky, but at the same time I would think if you did it carefully, the adhesive should still work
@@skrrtproductions I know - im super nervous about damaging the carbon or the overlay itself... we'll see... but the looseness of it is driving me crazy so it's kinda lose lose right now lol
@@othmankammah382 yeah so could be worth a shot! You can always put some masking tape on top of the dry carbon to help prevent any damage when digging out the layover. Just be extra careful and take your time. Best of luck!!
@@skrrtproductions Happy to report that the surgery went well and it stuck right back on! PHEW! the looseness of it was driving me crazy but it's scary how much more you have to screw AFTER it feels tight and in there. Anyways all good now! Thanks mate
Part of the colourlock alcantara cleaning kit. It’s a water proofing spray just to add a layer of sealant or protectant incase any liquids spill. I linked in the description if you want to check it out 🤙🏼
In the video everything looks like really nice dry carbon, but the links all seem to be to super glossy fake looking plastic. Are the links provided actually the product you used??? Edit: I watch the end of the video, you used OEM BMW parts. Do you have a link to where you bought them?
I’m sorry brotha! I completely spaced on that and didn’t put the links to the actual pieces 😂. I got them from Kies Motorsports though. You can just search on their site. I’ll add the links in a few hours
All the small details make a big difference. It actually looks really clean 👌🏻
No doubt!! Thanks brotha! 🙏🏼

Thanks! You can do it too! Figure out a way, do some extra work. I got faith!
You're missing the handbrake and armrest pieces.
Plan on getting the e-brake but idk about the arm rest
Do the new parts give a brighter light? I changed mine but, the green little light is too bright
I didn’t notice that

@@skrrtproductions thanks for that! Definitely earned my sub 👍🏽 keep up the great work.
Also, do you still have your 4 series?
@@jaywalker3485 Appreciate it man! Will do. I never had a 4 series, I had a 328i before this 340i
@@skrrtproductions ahh okay i see, I just bought a 430i about a month & 1/2 ago. Barely getting into the “newer” bmws.
@@jaywalker3485 congrats man. BMW community is the best. Feel free to reach out if you ever have any questions 🤙🏼
What did you spray on it before installing it?
Some colourlock water proofing spray. Just in case any liquids spill bc it’s pretty close to the cup holder
Do you notice micro fiber gets stuck in the carbon weaves when cleaning ? How do you avoid?
Occasionally. Try to use high quality towels and try not to apply a lot of pressure.
Also, for my method I use a detail factory brush and then just pat dry the carbon instead of wiping
How are you doing this in a garage and not sweating your ass off?! Lol. Anyway...great video dude! Keep up the work!
Hahah I know it can be 1000 degrees in there sometimes. Did this video early in the morning lol. Thanks bro!
