I think it looks great for exactly what she wanted for functionality. I have an F80 and it's not lowered because it's my daily. I have more fun not stressing about a lowered car and that's more important to me AND it still looks good! Great job! I bet driving that M3 makes you want one!

front is way too high still. also u put the spacers wrong, wider ones go on the front for the g80

Hope this helps with fitment for inner light, bend the metal on the inner inside of the outside entry slots where the L clip goes into upwards so the L clip can slip in. I HOPE THAT MAKES SENSE it took me 2 hrs to learn bc the the inner tails would not clip in

I just bought an F80 M3. The 340i has more in common with a 318i than it does with an M3. The handling is on another level as is the delivery of power.

the transfercase is one part you are going to hate the xdrive and also the front axle. your moding selection will be greatly limited.

Great video. Ive owned a rwd 440i and currently have an xdrive version (got totaled, some guy in poland fixed it and is driving it now lol). You made some good points, especially concerning the weight differences. Awesome platform and cars all around tho

Quick question as i cant find any answers on it, maybe im searching wrong 🤔 Ive got the TU pump now and going to install it, but when i check the stage 2+ hpfp options, there is no tu hpfp there? Its only 3 different dorch pumps + oem and original/spool, so im not really sure what to pick here, im assuming oem if im not all wrong? Ur content + kern417 is the only reason i got a 340i, keep up the good content man 🔥🔥

Easily the best mod you can do. And it's doable for beginner/novice, as long as you have acces to the right tools and you follow all the steps. Great tip: Take pictures before you start, so you always have a reference when your putting it back together.

I didn't care about breaking the factory chrome grilles so I just got a good grip on the blades and yanked em out. Broke some of the clips, but who cares. Those chrome ones are ugly.

my 340i had gone 72k miles, and never done a trans fluid change so i got that done with the pan, now in manual mode it downshift as it did before, but the upshift are so slow, takes like 1 1/2 sec for it to shift up... wish i never did the fluid+ change 😮‍💨 ben driving for around 210km now and still the same, maybe it will adapt by it self after some weeks? or if the gearbox adaption reset from carly works
