I just bought a 535 and i was looking to replace the trims , everything out there is expensive, i lost motivation till i watched this video. Definitely doing this to mine. Thanks for the video.
Very helpful video, but you must have magic hands, those wire connections were very hard to disconnect. My IDrive one refused to come out so I had to unscrew it and leave it in the car. Be careful guys, those ones for the centre dash part are very tight as well. All the videos make it look easy, some even edit that bit out.
Great video as always, can I send you my F20 interior trims please, can you wrap mine with the same as the video, pretty please? I’ve tried doing it with vivivd wrap, but I can’t doooooo it 🙈🙈🙈 thanks Jon! Incidentally I’m in the UK, so PM me how we can sort it out 🙏🙏🙏
Hi Jon. I would love to, but don't you think that it would be a but expensive since I'm in the US? If you are willing to give it one more try, I would suggest using 3M 2080. VIVID is a bit harder to work with from my experience. The 2080 is really forgiving and doesn't require heat until the last step.
@@FritzRamos Hi Fritz, thanks for your response, I’ll look at that 3M wrap and consider giving it a final go! Failing that I will defo ask you to do it, no matter what costs 🤣 Thanks buddy! Keep up the great videos! 🤙
@@FritzRamos Thank you for the response. My concern was pealing or more specifically shrinking away from the edges, which is apparently an issue if I understood your comment correctly. Thanks again!
I have an F36, that red accent or stripe has peeled off at one place only. Is there any fix for that? Its like the plastic it was laminated with has come of at a small point. Looks ugly.
I bought ready carbon fibre online easy to put on over the panels already on.. on my F36 satin frozen vanilla with carbon roof carbon over the aluminium inside the cockpit black wheels wow red leather interior looks sexy as phuck
The glare is SO ANNOYING! My Jeep Grand Cherokee has chrome on the bottom and it's awful. My BMW 340 isn't bad, but it's silver and it's time to replace trim or wrap it :)
Looking at a 320d with the same interior but want to get rid of the red strips on the dash. Do you think i could just wrap it as you did and not remove the wrap from the red strips?
Will use this to wrap my F32 trim with the same CFS12
Thank you so much for this great video, super helpful. You're the GOAT
Best Tutorial i found for foiling the f30, ty!
you know its fun to watch these videos when you don't have the courage to do it yourself haha!
You can do it!

I just wrap my e92 interior with a black forged carbon by vvivid. Great wrap super easy to work with.
Great job en very well documented!
Great video. Any thoughts on how to wrap the door molding trim, just above the door handle. It’s black in your car, blue in mine.
Great work! Will be doing my 330i soon!
we need to know how to wrap the dash to get rid of windshield glare!
Really nice job - eager to install mine
Thank you! Let me know how it goes
Fun to watch. Thank you. A question please, does that red line across the front came with the interior?
Yes it does
really good video thanks!!!
Are you still happy with the wrap a year later?
Great video, thank you!
Glad it helped. Thanks
Very good video 🎉

Any tips for removing these connections. Having trouble atm with the top convection as it won’t budge whatsoever.

Mind blowing
My dodge avenger has chrome trim around the gear selector. one of the worst interior design decisions ever in a car 🤦♂
I suppose it looks good in pictures or if the car is mostly driven at night 😂

Is it mentioned in the video the exact amount of wrap is recommended
amzn.to/3pQIjq7 this covered it all
If you watch the video he says you need at least 5ft by 3ft
@ thanks just decided to get oem m performance trim, quality difference is insane
AN outstanding video - thank you!
A simple question: When sun hits the vinyl for an extended time, would the vinyl be affected and distorrted?
I haven't noticed any fading or color shifting. I've even used some on the exterior and it tends to peel before it degrades
@@FritzRamos Thank you for the response. My concern was pealing or more specifically shrinking away from the edges, which is apparently an issue if I understood your comment correctly.
Thanks again!
@@FritzRamosi’d also like to get an impression regarding the possibility of peeling during hot climates please
You only used one 3x5 ft sheet for all of the pieces?

If it's the laminate you might want to peel it all off and wrap it after
nice!
Thank you! Hey man, is your shifter on back order? I haven't seen your video yet

Hi what is this. 2d or 3d carbon ?
Did you bring over that koason screen to this one?
Sure did, couldn't leave that in the old car 😆
@@FritzRamos just installed mine into my 2014 f30 its the 4G one but not bad so far
No heat ?
He does use a heat gun in the video
is 5ft x 2ft enough for Bmw 530xi wooden part inside?
Looking at a 320d with the same interior but want to get rid of the red strips on the dash. Do you think i could just wrap it as you did and not remove the wrap from the red strips?
You could. I would still cut along the divide and tuck it.
@@FritzRamos thanks man! I'll give it a shot
@@geuros_ you got it!
Manual????
Why do it with tape when you need real carbon. It looks disgusting. It looks cheap because the carbon isn't real. I don't like it
Ok 😐
Yo mum is disgusting
So then go out and find carbon fiber trim pieces lol. Waste of money
It’s only your problem ;) we love it
Amazing video, thank you.
