I tried helping a friends out once with money they kept coming back every 5mins was so stressed as was trying be a good friend. They ended giving me alopecia auto immune disease triggered by the stress.
Dr. Chatterjee, you are my very , very favorite speaker of all times. You exude kindness. Your questions and comments are always point on and delivered eloquently. You are the reason I enjoy exercising , as I’ve paired running , whether it be outdoors or in , with you. Your guests are always top notch as well. Dr. Chatterjee, I’m grateful for you on a daily . Your work (I also have two of your books, your journal, two of the productivity planners) has really challenged my thinking, and is always enriching my life. Thank you . Elise
I felt your comment and got a bit sensitive (in a good way) around how beautiful as humans can be, trying to be better, helping each other and being thankful to one an other. Thx for expressing yourself 🙏🙏💓💓
Carolyn Myss's book on Why People Don't Heal- always came down to an inability to forgive and let go. I believe that 100 percent. As they say , Forgiveness is for the self to be Free- not "Fairness"
Forgiveness is really about not holding onto the anger about an event and/or person. How can we shut off the anger? The usual admonition is to let it go. But there is a middle step that needs to be taken. •If we think of anger as part of the grieving process, and in no particular order, we can stay stuck in that anger for years. Decades. •Recently, a pastor shared this concept: in order to "let it go," we need to first "let it be." •We can visualize the event/person as an object. We can set it down like a glass of water. We don't need to continue staring at it. We know it is there so we can go about our business. At some point, the glass can be moved further away, where we don't see it all the time. Eventually, the glass of water can be emptied, i.e., the "let it go."
Radial tonometry or pulse wave pressure monitoring correlates directly with past trauma. That pulse wave pressure can demonstrate when the trauma occurred and if they’re still suffering from that trauma. It gives you a beautiful graphic presentation of emotional correlation and potential fatal outcomes I suggest you look at the studiesdone with radial tonometry pulse weight monitoring and the history of emotional trauma
Apparently, Maimonides suggests doing exactly the OPPOSITE of an undesirable behavior for a period of about 23 days, consecutively - in order to overcome a particular bad habit.
I have been watching your channel on occasion and some of your guests are a true tonic to which I am referring in the main, those who promote whole food lifestyles. I think a noteworthy addition to your interview portfolio would be Dr. Sten Ekberg, a former Olympian and Holistic Doctor residing in Atlanta Georgia. Dr Ekberg is a gifted communicator and deserves wider appreciation, his grasp of physiology is wonderful and his TH-cam channel is simply "top notch."
Let’s be clear. In the US when you go to Dr. they Do Not follow the protocol of Dr Peter. It is a quick 15 minute appointment and usually you see the NP and they focus on blood work w/ the most minimal tests done ( can’t do more / insurance won’t pay)
Thank you so, so much, Rangan and Peter, that was a fantastic and deep conversation! ❤ I listened to the whole four hours, albeit in three sessions. 😅 I particularly liked that you, Rangan, were a little bit more critical this time with your guest and pierced some of the more problematic - or at least contested - points of what he was saying. Please continue this journey of what we might call "critical journalism". And please continue to point out contradictions in your guest's logic. You're much better when you do that than when you simply sugarcoat everything your guests say. ❤
By which, I'd like to add, I don't mean there was anything substantial to criticize in what Peter said. He's a well-renowned doctor who stands firmly on the ground of science. But you had other guests who said some rather doubtful things. Please be more critical of those. 😊
I really like both of these guys alot. I listen to and trust them both. And I dont have 2 plus hours to watch or listen to thim.😮Maybe rhe maximizer Bros do. I have little people and old people and a busi ess and a home to look after. I like their voices. Clearly so do they.
Oh man, I need these boiled down into 5 minutes. They are good Dr! But mate, I don't have 2 hrs a week and all of these other ones of yours to catch up on! LOL
@@gamerchristina1079 This was two previous interviews clipped together. You can clearly tell that one was in person and the other was over zoom. How was this one new podcast?
Yep these r old so a bit deceptive & clickbaity but this is becoming common. So yea I’ve seen these, disappointed bc it looked new but quickly i realized how familiar they sounded. BUT i see how its a good way of resurfacing old videos to people that haven’t seen them b4 ever
These conversations are foundational for long healthspan, so important for those that may have missed them. Understandable that they would be re-shared.
Can at least one of the "wellness" /health experts talk about Saul Justin Newman research on longivity please Senior research fellow at the University College London Centre for Longitudinal Studies.
Full respect to the doctor, but i feel like he over tests people. Its unnecessary. If someone looks overweight. This is needed for studies, but not for people to know that they need to change gheir habits and improve their lifestyle.
I love your content but 3 hrs and 47 minutes, guys? You're encouraging us to spend an entire morning sitting watching you talking on screen, while telling us to get active for a longer life! A bit counter-intuitive don't you think?
Also - I find the fast twitch low twitch in 80 year old is totally unfounded and discriminatory - what if you have suffered from TBI and chronic pain since your 40s?? You’re both only talking about relatively healthy elders- that in itself is something to be grateful for- there so much more suffering that you both omit that precludes exercising, diet, whatever other trackers you seem to prioritize- it’s simply excluding and so simplified- and who says women don’t need to lift weights?? that’s just incorrect and again, very assuming, generalized and once again, DISCRIMINATION. These metrics etc are totally lowest common denominator and every prejudicial- and presumptive-it has no context!!! please respect each individual, age, gender if you are a true professional

The depth of self awareness from these two is next level. What wonderful human beings.

Set an intention every morning to do something new for an hour. Draw new things into each day.
Thank you for this comment. I found it ...helpful.
Wow, what a privilege to be able to listen to this podcast. Thanks Rangan & Peter. Totally awesome!
Fortunately it's the Easter break. Why do I wish that these two gentlemen were my local GP. Above and beyond. Thankyou 🙏

So happy to see Peter on here. Can’t wait to listen to this pod.
thank god Rangan asked to define "rock" cause I was totally missed there
Holy hell, Rangan... you have outdone yourself.. amazing podcast between two great minds! Thank you for the upload 😃😃😍😍
It’s two different previous videos that have been combined. Not a new podcast.
Can you two gentlemen please put up a referral list of doctors who are just like you? For the life of me I can’t find one ❤
Do you know how the lymphatic system is tied to blood pressure?
Thanks for another fantastic discussiion. You are both gems.
I have some low grade addictions : sugar and online shopping.
How about people be great full for the free content and just watch a little at a time?
Amazing what we publicly whine about. 😢 2:54

I remember seeing the Challenger blowup when I was a kid. Watch it it the old black and white TV when I was growing up in Jamaica. It was surreal!😢
Only put in your body real food and most your problems will go away. I'm still working on it
I am pretty sure that this episode has been published a while ago, why it shows ‘3 days’ ago
Super interesting conversation between 2 wonderful doctors.
Can total cholesterol be too low? If yes what would you consider too low?

Yes! Yes! Yes!!
unwinding seems very important
Just so good
Love your content! Just a minor piece of critique, the editing is little chaotic and interrupts the flow of the interview a little.
When is it too late to do bio identical estrogen ?
Doc, what’s up with just uploading previous interviews clipped together?
I didn’t watch them so I really appreciate this videos as I’m sure many others do. ❤
Where’s the previous videos clipped together? I don’t even understand what you are complaining about because this was one new podcast

Sorry nearly 4 hours is way too long for a video, I'll skip this one, even each of the Lord of the rings movies were around 3 hours lol
Just break it down into bite sized episodes. There is no requirement to listen to a podcast all in one go 🤣
😄
Your missing out Peter is the best
I agree I like these podcasts but more than an hour is hard, maybe a part 1,2 or 3 would be better
Jesus! Thanks for the heads up. I’m gonna continue to scroll 👍
