As an older person, I find this hilarious because It's a review of what's been going on in the health industry forever. Nothing new here just the verbiage is a little more technical. The younger ones are clinging to his every word looking for that one magic vitamin. Money is made by these people and the vitamin company's. Eat good food, get out in the sun and fresh air, take a multiple vitamin and get on with your life.

Concerning everyone automatically adding methyl folate on a daily basis - there is a percentage of people ( I am one) whose system has difficulty clearing methyl donors from our bodies. Methyl folate along with methylcabalamin (B-12) are ‘usually’ found in the same B vitamin supplement.
When I first started taking methylated B vitamins on a daily basis, weird things started happening. I became very anxious, like a motor was constantly running in my body and I also had terrible brain fog - searching for words.
Did 23andMe then a deep dive on my results ( with the help of geneticist Dr Ben Lynch) and found due to certain SNPs or defects in genes, my body didn’t clear methyl donors easily. So I began taking different forms of B12 and Folinic acid (not synthetic folic acid) until my methylation cycle was up and running good. Then I started incorporating back into my supplement routine the methylated B’s, but only every few days.
Currently my folate and B-12 values are where I want them to be (testing) and my system is happy.

Thank you for saying that. I am a big fan of Dr. William Walsh's work who wrote the book Nutrient Power as his work literally saved my life after a copper supplement destroyed it. One thing I learned through his teachings and tests is I am an overmethylator and have to avoid methylated vitamins. Also folates can act as a serotonin reuptake promoter so this blanketed everyone take methylated folates while beneficial for some are harmful to others. We need better and more testing on individual levels.

Great episode! Love seeing this genetic science being discussed. I have both slow COMT and heterozygous MTHFR variants, and understanding this changed my health journey. But it's crucial to know that methylation goes far beyond just MTHFR - it's a complex cycle involving multiple genes and enzymes. With slow COMT, my body processes methyl groups inefficiently, meaning methylated supplements can quickly overwhelm my system, causing anxiety, overstimulation, and brain fog. This is why I can't take methylfolate like many others do.
This demonstrates why personalized genetic understanding is essential - what works for one person's methylation cycle could cause serious issues for another. Always know your own genetic profile before starting methylation protocols.

Infertility. (I have 3 adopted children)
3 years ago I was in hospital with an inflamed finger.
My D3 level was above 100 and the doctor said I had D3 toxicity and I must stop taking d3k2, and she put me back to MTX. 😢
Of course since then I take d3k2 and I will never give it up, Mg, B komplex (I have MTHFR and Faktor V Leiden mutations), Omega3……
Without Steroid I cant get out from bed. I left MTX for some months because I hate it but I must start it again.

She at least listened intently to what Gary was saying. She did ask good questions however please stop talking over the guests. These people are top of their fields. The audience would like to hear their full points.
There's not enough talk of nutrients. Gary did a great job explaining the need for nutrients. We are so consumed with pills when we need to eat whole foods that are nutrient dense. Please ask Dr Casey Means, Dr Robert Lustig PhD Endocrinologist as an introduction to foods. Lustig is the goat on sugar. You won't want to eat sugar after hearing what it does to mitochondria.
Then ask Dr Anna Lembke Dopamine nation. She will explain how sugar works in brain. I was having trouble sleeping. And after listening to her, I realized I was getting Dopamine hits from my phone at night. I stopped and now I can sleep again.
Thank you for having Gary as a guest. He is so informative. I learned so much listening to him

I agree with everything he has said except for the information regarding the thyroid. In 95% of cases, hypothyroidism is caused by autoimmune disease (Hashimoto's). Thyroid antibodies attack the thyroid and cause damage. When an individual puts their autoimmune disease in remission, it can take 5-10 years for the thyroid to heal. For some people, it does not heal. Thyroid damage from antibodies can be confirmed through a thyroid ultrasound indicated by heterogeneity on the lobes. A thyroid releasing hormone test can confirm whether function has been returned to the thyroid. Patients with Hashimoto's hypothyroidism often have issues converting T4 into T3 in conjunction with low T4 and low T3 levels. He was touching on issues converting T4 to T3 in people with just low T3. That would benefit those without autoimmune disease. For those that do not have autoimmune disease of the thyroid, his advise is perfect.
The body can become desensitized to high T3 levels. However, optimal T3 levels will benefit the body. Aloe vera juice may actually help increase the bodies tissue sensitivity to thyroid hormone. T3 levels naturally begin declining with age after the age of 30. Integrative doctors will often recommend implementing T3 to maintain optimal health. Natural desiccated thyroid is a great option. I personally would never go off of my T3 even if my thyroid healed because I LOVE how it makes me feel. The level of T3 that I have in my blood stream cannot be achieved through diet and supplements alone. Izabella Wentz and Dr Westin Child's are great advocates and very knowledgeable when it comes to thyroid issues. I would try and get them to come on your show. They can answer your questions regarding weight loss and how to maintain weight with or without thyroid hormone. It will not be said to be an option for everyone. There are many things that affect the conversion of T4 to T3 and Reverse T3. Hashimoto's 411 is a fb that has files on everything thyroid. Some examples of things that negatively affect the conversion of T4 to T3 are: aging, alcohol, fasting, pesticides, growth hormone deficiency, heavy metals, low progesterone, kidney and liver disease, radiation, medications, nutrient deficiencies, poor metabolic function, iodine excess, obesity, and soy.

I do not supplement b12, but do take super B 100, vitamin B complex sustained release, for 21 days, then skip for 7 days when I try to focus on fast or fast mimicking protocol. Thanks for sharing, your similar situation. I recently listened to a podcast, where there was discussion about MTHFR gene, supposedly if the B12 in the supplement B is not methylated, and you have the MTHFR GENE, than your body is not able to properly metabolize the B12. I have that gene. I was on target therapy and it definitely messed with my metabolism in a big way, so perhaps there is some correlation. It’s just my thoughts, based on my experience. I have been off that drug almost 3 months now, and my weight came down to my normal, down about 24-25 lbs, and my cholesterol came down to my normal, from being elevated by 223 points in a matter of 2 weeks and my neuropathy went away. Sadly, the drug stopped working against my cancer, and I am having progression. No new med options for me, I’ve exhausted the 3 generations and did not qualify for the clinical trial for the 4th generation.

I've been making a lot of losses trying to make profit trading. I thought trading on a demo account is just like trading the real market. Can anyone help me out or at least advise me on what to do💔

It’s really heartbreaking to see how inflation and recession impact low-income families. The cost of living keeps rising, and many struggle just to meet basic needs, let alone save or invest. It’s a reminder of the importance of finding ways to create financial opportunities. You've helped me a lot Georgette Wong! Imagine i invested $20,000 and received $80,500 after 2weeks

Absolutely! Profits are possible, especially now, but complex transactions should be handled by experienced market professionals.

Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like Georgette Wong.

Finding yourself a good broker is as same as finding a good wife, which you go less stress, you get just enough with so much little effort at things

Yes because our immune systems are already shot from the added chemicals to our diets but at different levels around the world. Eg we in NZ don’t use the same colorants that you do in the US so we don’t have as many health issues related to those chemicals. However COVID was a global event that effected the immune system (like he said more from the isolation so we weren’t getting exposed to bugs at the same level so our immune systems aren’t as effective). So rather than viewing it as specifically shingles, it’s all illnesses are on the rise. When the flights from the northern hemisphere opened back to NZ, we had some of the worse flu symptoms because hadn’t been exposed to those specific bugs for like 2 years.
