Another wonderful video! With the exception of the dilation requirement, I wished my doctor had told me so much more. While doctors are required to be confidential with your information, it is still quite embarrassing to mention to your regular doctor that you, as a woman, have a prostate. My gynecologist knows, but I made it a point to see one that is not really local. I am a happily married girl and my husband and I live in a relatively small town where everyone knows everyone. Being seen just as a normal girl, wife, and soon to be mother (we are in the process of adopting a little girl), is so important.
What you said about the frequency of dilation also has me worried a tad. My husband and I, like most sexually active heterosexual couples, have penetrative intercourse. I had always thought that to be enough, so I will only dilate when he is away on business. I have not noticed any discomfort or changes upon his return, other than maybe a little tightness here and there.

AgentPepsi1 congrats on becoming a Mom soon! That’s so exciting! I would say regards the dilation just keep doing what you are doing 👍🏻. These are broad rules which are not very well proven and indeed there is some evidence that sex is more effective dilation anyway.

      Hi Dr. Gallagher,
Thank you so much!! :D Both Steven (my husband) and I are excited about welcoming our new daughter. Hopefully, if all goes well, all the legal stuff will be done the end of this month. As she is was born this April, she will only know me as her mom and my sweetie as her father. I have always dreamed of being a mom! Never thought it would take so long. I can't wait to hear her call me "mommy" I feel better too now what you said about dilation. I have (so far) been really fortunate not to have needed any revisions or had any real complications following my surgery. I so wish to keep it that way as I have been very satisfied with the results.
      Thank you again,
      Tasha

Dr. Gallagher, thank you for recommending Soul Source dilators. They just arrived and I am dilating now. I think that slight curve at the end is important. Well, I’ve been able to insert the large orange one up to the next to last dot, which I think is fantastic after about 38 years of neglect. I have used other dilators of that width before, so there have been no problems. I have had success stretching an ancient vaginal canal in the last three or four years after all, although it tightens significantly without lubrication and dilation.

Doc I would question the accuracy of the claim that dilation needs to be continued indefinitely. I had vaginaplasty 29 years ago and I haven't owned a dilator in over 20. Granted I'm married but I in my 50's now and we are hardly at it like rabbits as we were when we were young. I haven't noted any loss of depth ever. I think the longest I ever went without penetrative sex was 3-4 months when my husband injured his back and I experienced no loss of depth during that time.

Which doctor should these people see after this kind of surgery? Gynecologist is not trained to work with artificial female organ, it is techically a male castrato. What they have there it is not even a female organ at all! They should still see andrologysts or these doctors who performed this kind of surgery and set their hormon therapy.
