You would think that they would remove it just for eliminating the high risk of cancer that plagues male's 50 and up. I go though all this just to find out a year or 2 down the road I have prostate cancer ♋ I would be pist. I wonder if they at least have a look at it to see if it's in good shape and if something looks fishy about it then just remove it. I heard partially because with insurance companies. Won't pay for removal because it Tec has nothing to do with gender dysforia that you was diagnosed with, that got you on the O.R table
The reason to keep the prostate...is because it feels good. Just like it can be hit when getting fucked up the butt, it get hit when you get fucked up the pussy.
Orgasm. The prostate functions in a post-op trans woman in the same way a g-spot functions in a cis woman. Sexual stimulation. Stimulating the prostate alone is one of the many ways to produce an orgasm.
I have tried to find out zero depth vagaplasty.It is a simpler surgery but I cannot find out how much it costs in comparison.Because price varies,what percentage differance between the 2 surgery choices.
Horrible. For me, it was painful, it was unpleasant in every way. Do not take dilation lightly. It is a major thing, and in the beginning, it is really really unpleasant, and for me, was very painful trying to keep depth. Missing a session or stretching time between sessions, especially right at the beginning, is a huge no, and will result in more pain and discomfort than necessary. You will need to wake up to dilate out of dead sleep. Sometimes multiple times per night. Prepare for not getting sleep because of it. If you are weighing zero/minimal depth, please do consider it seriously. Many many times I thought I might just stop dilating and let it close like a piercing.
I would recommend then you have the entire information on video in answering the most common questions asked and the most uncommon on video none of us are going to be able to read all that

In general, more complication means more complications, so I understand why they would be loath to remove things they don't have to.
