  • I made a pair of Gaiters! Because winter is coming and I hate having cold legs, so why not make some fashionable legwarmers? I made my own patterns for these because I gave up on the one that I bought, because making them fit was way too complicated, with something that isn’t complicated at all.
    So if you ever wanted to make your own gaiters, here’s the chance to get inspired to make your own! It’s not hard at all, and with this method the fit will be just right.

    Even though these are relatively simple, they were done so precicely and thoughtfully that they look amazing. Very very well done, im going to try this method this week

    Without exaggeration; this is one of the best videos on TH-cam.
    It's not unnecessarily long, the pacing is great, the choice of music is delightful, the content is incredibly helpful and easy to follow, your demeanor is nice, not too hyper but also not too tiring *and* there's an adorable animal.
    Literally Perfection.✨

    THE BEST tutorial for these! I'm a newbie to sewing that's been trying and failing to make a workable pattern for some gaiters. This is exactly what I need

    Did you mark and cut the back of the leg too? I did not see you doing it while you had the plastic wrap on. But the later steps indicated that there was a cutting line as well. Sorry if the question is stupid, I try to understand how to replicate the steps.

      I think I did, yes. But I think I cut it after laying it flat. 😊

      @@TheHBSeamstress thank you, I did that too after another cut just made sense and after I watched another, similar video - it looks so fast and easy when you do it, but it indeed was a lot of try-on involved, haha - I made a mockup yesterday and next weekend I'll try with the good fabric. Fingers crossed!

    I've been looking for gaitors that don't have elastic around the bottom, thank you! Do you have any problems with them riding up as you walk?

    • @TheHBSeamstress
      @TheHBSeamstress  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No not really, because they fit my leg. They do if I run in them, but it's not a problem. 😊
