  • HI! We're back with Part 18 of the Fury rebuild! This time we'll tackle painting the firewall the correct colour and start reassembling the front end of the car... I still have lots of rust repair to do as well, so we can have a look at how I did the right headlight eyebrow repair... Also: Agent 303 stopped in s owe figured we'd try to fix some of the hinges and latches on the 1959 Chrysler so we could refit the hood and trunk lid to help the car look a lot better!
Thanks to everyone who subscribed to our channel here, and thanks also for all of your "likes" and comments! We do appreciate that anyone would take the time to leave us a note. If you would like to help keep our channel going, you can get a sticker or a hat or a coffee mug at:

Hey! Thanks for checking out the latest installment on our Fury project! This week we'll paint the firewall "Twilight Blue", and start putting the front of the car back together... Then, Agent 303 stops in to help straighten the ruined hinges on the 1959 Chrysler so we can get the hood and trunk lid working again. Rust is still the enemy, and we'll get rid of some more of it this week on the right eyebrow of the Fury with some more help from "Log", haha!
***Please hit the ol' "like" button if you want more Fury vids, ( It really helps the vids get seen) cheers!*****

What the heck??? 'Turned out nicely" and " looks nice" the sheet metal master says! That is the absolutely biggest understatement of the year (so far). What an incredible effort to fix the fender. Congrats how you did it.
Can hardly wait to see the '59 Chrysler runnin' ... oops, no engine in it. Looks good to watch friends working on it together.
Best regards luck and health to all involved (including Francine of course!).

I just came back to watch this again because I love that we see an array of some of the projects in the yard. Scott’s yard is the car guy’s ultimate playground. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again; I would gladly pay admission to the yard. Screw Disney. 🐭 wish I could 👍this video again, because I have enjoyed it twice now. I know,I know, I need a life! ☮️

Nice repair on the fender Scott! That's really a great shade of blue on the old Plymouth as well. Also want to congratulate you guys on getting the hood on the Chrysler. She'd be sweet with a nice 413 (just sayin...). And I also am enjoying the demolition of the barn with the Frasier. Thanks as always for another great video and here's a shout out to Dean and the other agents who always help make this channel such a blast to watch. Thought I was gonna forget about you Frankers? No way baby! Till next time CHEERS!!!

Just happened to see the rescue of the 59 while browsing videos. Did the same browsing tonight and decided to watch. When you started talking about cutting off the eyebrow, I was a skeptic. Watched the video and am amazed! I have an old 56 Chevy I have been wanting to work on and didn't think I was able to do it. Watching your magic with a hammer, I may just give it a try. Truly I was amazed at your talent!!! I subscribed to see more and hit the bell deal thing. Just unbelievable how you can do that with just a hammer. Do you have a roller to smooth it out? You are an artist and I want to see some more of that art. Thanks!, Moses.

I had a Zen moment when you guys un-masked the firewall. THAT'S when you realize how nice it's going to look. Totally impressed on the engine paint, but, don't stop there! You can still find NORS plug wires fairly easily on eBay, but even if you decide to use modern wires, you can use brake cleaner to remove the out-of-place markings on them and the hoses. You can get the air cleaner stickers also. Do you guys know for sure that the engine is? There are so many variations on a Poly engine that it could be nearly anything.
I am in awe of your abilities. Forming metal like that is an art. That car is going to look great. To paraphrase "Christine"...it's gonna be a marvelously resurrected time traveller from the Space Age. I can't wait to see it sitting on 4 luxy whitewall tires. I don't get into the rust look. I want a 1960 car to look like it's STILL 1960. Just make sure when it is nearly done that you go out and inventory the parts cars to get 4 matching correct sealed beam headlights. That's mostly a joke, but they actually do have date codes and the fluting changed at some point. Either GE or Westinghouse was a factory vender, along with Tung-Sol.

The only downside was LOG didn't get enough screen time ;-) When I was 15 I made my own ball peen hammer in highschool metal work shop, when I was 23 I bought panel beating hammers, but all I managed to do is bang stuff and stretch metal or reshape panels worse than they used to be :( My self made ball peen hammer was relegated to banging in wall and rawl plugs into masonry walls

You never cease to amaze me with your metalworking talents. Love the Frazer. Thanks for sharing. I sure miss that '57 New Yorker 2dr. I had years ago. Yep 392 rust free California car.

I knew you were going to make the 60 Plymouth cool, but I didn't know you were going to make it nice. Holy shit, You painted the firewall! This is going to be a nice car! I was thinking 37 splices and Earl Shieb, which is technically true, but damn! Love it!

Really awesome metal work. I had 60 hours in one of my 62 Cadillac fenders.... bout 30 in the other. Alot of time in making your own panels like i did!!! Awesome work CWM!
