My wife is English and we visit for vacation (holiday) every now and again. It’s nice to see what I’m able to EDC while I’m there, with our laws being almost polar opposite. Just subscribed to show some support from across the pond.

Not for work or fishing but most other times. I know a couple of people that have them and wear them non stop and they still look good. It still puts a smile on my face when I wear it 😀

Hi, nice little quick review. The small Swiss knife I got for my wife who also carries a leatherman side kick and that's a locker with over the 3" blade personally I carry a black leatherman wave with bits a slide out break off craft knife and several other bits however being an engineer and a biker I need and use tools all the time. As for your quest for the ultimate torch I today have just received my o light S2R Barton 2 it is amazing small bright enough to use as a fist reinforcer or striking implement but also small enough to slip into your front jeans pocket try it out you will not regret it . Been using torches for 40 years and had everything under the sun but I am today very taken by this fantastic S2R hope this helps
A knife you may want to look at carrying is the James brand elko? It's small very utilitarian and doesn't lock! Unfortunately the price is a bit hefty but I've loved using mine both in my job and home life.
i just got the olight warrior mini, basically a bigger version of the s1r II but capable of 1500 lumens and has an on/off button on the base as well as the button on the side. might suit your ‘in between’ size requirements
I’ve recently started carrying the Nitecore Tip 2017 keyring torch. Brilliant little bit of kit. 1 lumen up to 360 lumen, rechargable and about the size of the Leatherman Squirt I’ve attached it to. They go everywhere with me, and I’m often surprised how much use they get.
Nice set of tools.I am a sucker for a good knives,guns and flash lights.I am putting together bug out bag.I like to carry my Glock 42 a spare mag and my Benchmade Osborne folding tactical fighting knive a Swiss army knife.and a stream light flash light.Here in Indiana you can carry any knive you want.we look them as tools and weapons.I have carried fixed blade, folding many of them locking, switch blade, spring assisted, gravity knives.They all have their own uses.
Another really good video. Once again all bases are covered. Love that watch! Glad to see the Spyderco knives, I used to EDC a Dragonfly and often a Delica before the UK laws changed. Have an Endura and Mannix 2 that must forever stay at home. All of your choices of torch are very good. Thank heavens for the SAK and the Leatherman or we would be forced to walk around bladeless.

Nice edc, and great video! It is hard in the UK to have some nice edc gear. I'm relatively new to this concept, always loved my sak's and in the last few months started looking at other edc gear. The torch I've been carrying is the Olight m1x striker, great thing, bright enough for my needs. I just find it's a bit big. I'd like to find a small leather pocket organiser for that, a pen and a ukpk which I hope to add to my edc soon
great video. looks like a very complete kit, with regard to the knife. i carry a spyderco UKPK, its designed specifically to fit in UK laws. its by far the best daily legal carry knife i have used, tried the Lansky world legal and the boker worldwide but find them both a bit heavy and although i like the aggressive styling, it can look quite threatening which isnt ideal in a very nervous UK climate. spyderco is light,slim and razor sharp. i'm gonna check out your other vids based on this best wishes
Convoy s2+ if you want a cheap portable tank !!! Approx 1000lums and lasts for months on one charge (with a good 18650 batt) i have olight 3200mah batteries 3.7v. Torch can be picked up for less than £20 ebay . If your handy with kydex (also purchased on ebay (3mm)) make a retention holster for it n carry on belt.

Thanks. I think your better off having one nice watch than several cheaper ones. Plus they keep price or increase in value. I paid double original price as I had no moral receipt and half current retail. Could prob sell it for what I paid for it if I needed too.
The Olight SR1 Baton is the perfect intermdiatry torch. I have both the Olight's you featured and the smaller one punchs out about 1000 lumens which is the perfect balance between size and output, but if you add a mere centimetre in lenghth you could have an additional 1,200 lumens (2200 in total) by purchasing the Manker E1411. The Manker is fast becoming a favourite, but I seem to actually end up carrying the SR1 Baton time and time again.

Looks ok to me, sorry about all the restrictive knife laws. I usually carry at least 2 and sometimes 3. Of course one is the tiny Swiss army. I'm only a partcial knife nut.
Ken 234 yes we are very constricted. We can own nice knives just can’t carry them. Firearms a big no no. I think it’s 4 years of you have one in possession. Even small things like pepper spray and tasers are banned.
Another vote for the Olight S1A Baton. Great little torch that'll take 14500 batteries as well as standard (and readily available) AA's. Why don't you carry your UKPK? Surely it's the closest thing to a Centofante you can legally edc? If you like the Chicago may I suggest the Spyderco Urban? All the good stuff of the UKPK (plus a better spring) in a Chicago (ish) sized package.. Nice watch..
Horusfour hi. Thanks for comments. I usually carry my Juice S2. Therefore I have a cutting tool. It’s strange I never carry a main solo knife and maybe I should. Urban is on my to get list. Had one second hand but condition was shoddy so I returned.

Just wondering... Why does everyone include a number of torches in their edc? Counting the flashlight on this guys phone, he carries a total of 4! Seems a tad excessive to me.
If you like the Olight keyring, try the Rovyvon A3 Aurora. 650 lumens out of something a tiny bit longer than the Olight. Also I'm not advocating breaking the law as such, but I've often carried a locking blade and never once been stopped, because I don't act like a hooligan and don't draw attention to myself. Generally a useful behaviour to have. Police really don't have a locking knife radar installed in their hats!😄
Think the rules might have changed some in the last few years, because I had a policeman take a knife similar to the yellow one off me outside a football match then give me it back after the game because he told me to come get it.

Luxury item, I tend to think gentleman carry, non locking, under 3 inches... The Italian made Fantoni Dweller in wood scale, for me Cocobolo but others woods available. Comes with leather slip to protect knife as carried in pocket. Locking blade under 3 would be Spyderco Chaparral, again variety of handle materials. Have been very pleased with Thrunite Neutron 2C flashlight. Variable, user adjustable, lumens with USB recharging 18650 battery. Or remove a section of case to use 123A battery with same outputs shorter runtime. I like the Parker Jotter for EDC but luxury would be the TiScribe Bolt with choice of refill including Fisher Space.
Just about anything not too weapony in a folder is legal carry where I am in the States, but I just love my U.K. legal Spyderco Urban Leaf K390 sprint run edition. So smooth, fast, and secure to one-hand deploy *and* close, with its perfect 90° safety detent. 1.90 ounces, yet quite the little beast as a cutter with that wonderful K390 blade. I complement that with an orange Spy-DK, also 1.90 ounces, for sweaty summer days in thin shorts and for boating activities due to the minimalist take apart construction and it's very corrosion resistant N690co blade steel. Really great ergos for precise blade tip control, too! I have lately had my eye on that Centofante myself, UK EDC. Having just bought the V-Toku2 edition of the Endura 4 and anticipating replacing my Native 5 lightweight with the upcoming LC200N Salt iteration, I should probably cool my jets a bit on the Centofante; but I was surprised by the Delica-like pricing here -- tempting. Cheers! P.S.- While I'm at it, my favorite timepiece: the discontinued mechanical Citizen Promaster dive watch with the dark blue face, black bezel, and old school green markers. Definitely distinctive in appearance and in much better proportion to my 7" wrist than most dive watches... practical to own and not too much in the way of bling or fussy details, which suits my preference. For no worries, knockabout use, I prefer my $12.99 Casio W800H to any other Casio I know of -- just the perfect size, the cleanest of Casio styling, and the most readable of displays for the basics (which my aging eyes appreciate!), plus the 100 meter water resist spec. Except for lacking a countdown timer function and it's somewhat too brief 1-1/2 second night light display, it's just about perfect as a grab 'n' go wristwatch for any environmental situation.
In my edc I have a leatherman juice c2 a olight m1x striker its a great bit off kit a leatherman C33 Crater a Victorinox Classic SD a key chain with parocord lanyard a prybar my wallet and my phone what is a Sony xz2 great phone and my zippo and cigarettes and a write in the rain pocket note pads
Sick, my edc contains a 50cal machine gun, rpg launcher, 20,000 lumen spotlight as used in WW2 during the blitz, tactical pen with built in knife launcher, 10 litre pepper spray, fire extinguisher, flame thrower including petroleum tank, emergency ambulance on standby and a £50000000 Rolex watch with the same face that was on big ben. But I'm also a black belt in karate, judo, mai chai and kick boxing and having just retired from a professional career in Mexican wrestling under the name 'Largecockandballio' and still being involved in amature nuclear bombing I see my self to be prepared for whatever life throws at me be it fire flood or drug dealer I will take them out and leave them in a pool of crimson liquid and probably a large crater.

I personally dont class phones keys and money/cards as edc as they are just normal every day items, for me personally its things which are used in emergency, so torch, whistle, multi tool etc
Dude, leave the U.K. ASAP! Come to America where we can EDC knives that lock for EDC uses as well as self defense. Even better as long as you avoid New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington DC, Illinois ( Chicago) and California you can EDC a firearm. Well, you can in California, but they make it way harder than it needs to be. Besides, there is just something wrong with most Californians. New Yorkers aren't too far behind though.
Kevin Smith hah. Thanks for comment. Not been to USA for about 15 years when we stopped in NY and 40 years to Florida. Loved the US and would like to visit again one day, but it’s cost related, pretty expensive to get there. Love the fact you can edc proper lockers and no one bats an eyelid. People still grown here if they see you with a SAK. Still love the U.K. and no thoughts of moving. We have many faults here but I live the seasons and obvs friends and family. We have wired parts here too though. ATB 👊
I totally understand. I was in the U.K. (England, Wales, &a Scotland) the first 2 1/2 weeks of this year. No offense, but that was plenty of time for me. Certainly made me appreciate being American more than I did before visiting. Cheers!

I honestly have no idea why us brits can’t carry pepper spray. It’s literally designed to be non-lethal. I’d hate to have people carrying firearms but I don’t see the problem with non-lethals.
There are people who think they should ban knives to cut down on knife crime. Would you like them to ban knives because someone said it'd improve society, as you think banning guns improved society. 🤔😉
No as a knife is primarily a tool for cutting purposes. A gun has the sole purpose of killing people. Arguably people can harm with a knife as they can with a pool cue or a car, but we can’t ban everything. Some one once said this which stuck in my mind. In the UK we send our kids to school for education not target practice.
Not sure if this would be too big for your EDC, but I recently got the Nebo Trio flashlight. It’s a terrific tool for EDC. Check it out if you haven’t already. Great vid 👍🏻
😜 no matey. TBH I got a bit fed up running the channel. There is nothing really new out there anymore just incarnations of the same thing. How some people bang out a weekly review of a different SAK is beyond me. Plus it’s the catchy titles (Is this the best EDC fork in the world) and thumbnails thing now. People are doing it for money not fun. There comes a time to stop and my time was a couple of years ago.

The Fenix LD02 V2.0 is a lovely little AAA pocket torch. Fit and finish is superb and it’s got a lot of versatility.

Looks ok to me, sorry about all the restrictive knife laws. I usually carry at least 2 and sometimes 3. Of course one is the tiny Swiss army. I'm only a partcial knife nut.

Ken 234 yes we are very constricted. We can own nice knives just can’t carry them. Firearms a big no no. I think it’s 4 years of you have one in possession.
Even small things like pepper spray and tasers are banned.
On the plus side we don’t have so much to carry 😉😄
Tasers are classed as firearms and minimum sentence is 5 years

Another vote for the Olight S1A Baton. Great little torch that'll take 14500 batteries as well as standard (and readily available) AA's. Why don't you carry your UKPK? Surely it's the closest thing to a Centofante you can legally edc? If you like the Chicago may I suggest the Spyderco Urban? All the good stuff of the UKPK (plus a better spring) in a Chicago (ish) sized package..

Just wondering... Why does everyone include a number of torches in their edc? Counting the flashlight on this guys phone, he carries a total of 4! Seems a tad excessive to me.
David Gauld usually carry 2. 2 is 1, 1 is none.
If you like the Olight keyring, try the Rovyvon A3 Aurora. 650 lumens out of something a tiny bit longer than the Olight. Also I'm not advocating breaking the law as such, but I've often carried a locking blade and never once been stopped, because I don't act like a hooligan and don't draw attention to myself. Generally a useful behaviour to have. Police really don't have a locking knife radar installed in their hats!😄

Think the rules might have changed some in the last few years, because I had a policeman take a knife similar to the yellow one off me outside a football match then give me it back after the game because he told me to come get it.

Luxury item, I tend to think gentleman carry, non locking, under 3 inches... The Italian made Fantoni Dweller in wood scale, for me Cocobolo but others woods available. Comes with leather slip to protect knife as carried in pocket. Locking blade under 3 would be Spyderco Chaparral, again variety of handle materials.
Have been very pleased with Thrunite Neutron 2C flashlight. Variable, user adjustable, lumens with USB recharging 18650 battery. Or remove a section of case to use 123A battery with same outputs shorter runtime.
I like the Parker Jotter for EDC but luxury would be the TiScribe Bolt with choice of refill including Fisher Space.
Just looked them up, lovely little knife the Dweller. Great choice.
Just about anything not too weapony in a folder is legal carry where I am in the States, but I just love my U.K. legal Spyderco Urban Leaf K390 sprint run edition. So smooth, fast, and secure to one-hand deploy *and* close, with its perfect 90° safety detent. 1.90 ounces, yet quite the little beast as a cutter with that wonderful K390 blade. I complement that with an orange Spy-DK, also 1.90 ounces, for sweaty summer days in thin shorts and for boating activities due to the minimalist take apart construction and it's very corrosion resistant N690co blade steel. Really great ergos for precise blade tip control, too!
I have lately had my eye on that Centofante myself, UK EDC. Having just bought the V-Toku2 edition of the Endura 4 and anticipating replacing my Native 5 lightweight with the upcoming LC200N Salt iteration, I should probably cool my jets a bit on the Centofante; but I was surprised by the Delica-like pricing here -- tempting. Cheers!
P.S.- While I'm at it, my favorite timepiece: the discontinued mechanical Citizen Promaster dive watch with the dark blue face, black bezel, and old school green markers. Definitely distinctive in appearance and in much better proportion to my 7" wrist than most dive watches... practical to own and not too much in the way of bling or fussy details, which suits my preference. For no worries, knockabout use, I prefer my $12.99 Casio W800H to any other Casio I know of -- just the perfect size, the cleanest of Casio styling, and the most readable of displays for the basics (which my aging eyes appreciate!), plus the 100 meter water resist spec. Except for lacking a countdown timer function and it's somewhat too brief 1-1/2 second night light display, it's just about perfect as a grab 'n' go wristwatch for any environmental situation.

In my edc I have a leatherman juice c2 a olight m1x striker its a great bit off kit a leatherman C33 Crater a Victorinox Classic SD a key chain with parocord lanyard a prybar my wallet and my phone what is a Sony xz2 great phone and my zippo and cigarettes and a write in the rain pocket note pads

Sick, my edc contains a 50cal machine gun, rpg launcher, 20,000 lumen spotlight as used in WW2 during the blitz, tactical pen with built in knife launcher, 10 litre pepper spray, fire extinguisher, flame thrower including petroleum tank, emergency ambulance on standby and a £50000000 Rolex watch with the same face that was on big ben. But I'm also a black belt in karate, judo, mai chai and kick boxing and having just retired from a professional career in Mexican wrestling under the name 'Largecockandballio' and still being involved in amature nuclear bombing I see my self to be prepared for whatever life throws at me be it fire flood or drug dealer I will take them out and leave them in a pool of crimson liquid and probably a large crater.

What's the rule on carrying medium sized saks from victorinox
D S std UK rules non locking sub 3” is legal unless you have good reason to carry.

Think you missed the point there. If I could carry legally I should carry one of these.
I personally dont class phones keys and money/cards as edc as they are just normal every day items, for me personally its things which are used in emergency, so torch, whistle, multi tool etc

Dude, leave the U.K. ASAP! Come to America where we can EDC knives that lock for EDC uses as well as self defense. Even better as long as you avoid New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington DC, Illinois ( Chicago) and California you can EDC a firearm. Well, you can in California, but they make it way harder than it needs to be. Besides, there is just something wrong with most Californians. New Yorkers aren't too far behind though.

Love the fact you can edc proper lockers and no one bats an eyelid. People still grown here if they see you with a SAK.
Still love the U.K. and no thoughts of moving.
We have many faults here but I live the seasons and obvs friends and family.

I honestly have no idea why us brits can’t carry pepper spray. It’s literally designed to be non-lethal. I’d hate to have people carrying firearms but I don’t see the problem with non-lethals.

There are people who think they should ban knives to cut down on knife crime. Would you like them to ban knives because someone said it'd improve society, as you think banning guns improved society. 🤔😉
No as a knife is primarily a tool for cutting purposes.
A gun has the sole purpose of killing people.
Arguably people can harm with a knife as they can with a pool cue or a car, but we can’t ban everything.
Some one once said this which stuck in my mind. In the UK we send our kids to school for education not target practice.

😜 no matey. TBH I got a bit fed up running the channel. There is nothing really new out there anymore just incarnations of the same thing. How some people bang out a weekly review of a different SAK is beyond me. Plus it’s the catchy titles (Is this the best EDC fork in the world) and thumbnails thing now. People are doing it for money not fun. There comes a time to stop and my time was a couple of years ago.
