@@JE_AB_CA yes, and just like carrying only a fixed blade for a month, it would be fun, and a challenge. What you have done is found the right tool for the job. When I had to cut nylon straps or bands all day from pallets of goods I used a box cutter. I changed blades as needed. We didn't use a knife for that. We also carried the Leatherman PST in those days and that was used as pliers to pull the staples, nails, etc.
@JE_AB_CA the same is true for pretty much every multitool. A proper screwdriver can't be beat by a multitool. A proper set of pliers can't be beat by a multitool. A proper knife can't be beat a multitool. They're good in a pinch if you can't do better, but if you can, you should.

The Cristal has been around for decades and is the best selling consumer product of all time, its kinda nuts actually. Im a big fan of the Pilot rolling ball pens and typically keep a Precise V7 RT on me
while some things work, some people like nice shit. i carry a fellhoelter pen, ive had so many good conversations about it. no good conversation has been started with "hey cool apple watch."

My edc has remained the same for a good bit now. The only thing I change out is my pocket knife, but the main one I carry is the civivi praxis, I’m gonna upgrade here to the full size here soon. I carry a 7” bladed fixed blade, Sofirn light, Gerber dual force, bastion pen, and a lighter.

Because it’s a status symbol in the edc community. Yeah sure it’s a flashlight too but mostly just a status symbol to make your poorer edc friends jealous. They are high quality but in my opinion that can’t justify the $400+ price tag. (Edit: he also gets them for free)
I used to carry different flashlights and knives around, and sometimes a firearm. I developed a collection. I am home more, so now I keep a flashlight, a knife, and a firearm in every room. I will only carry any of them now if I think I might need one. I've never been without any of them, when I actually needed one. I also keep a set in the car.

Added a new TT side click pen, picked up the vice release..nice pen, i love the bolt action but i need to apply loc tite to the bolt. Keep my olight baton 3. I carry my protech SBR but i cant bring into the office. Nice setup. Thanks for sharing

I do the same thing with my sheaths I use an XL Ulti Clip and have a Tops C.A.T. tucked into my 4 to 5 O'clock area. You forget it is there, can't feel it sitting or standing.
I got lucky, but i got 2 dlc mini click big idea pens for 50 a piece on Kickstart year's ago. My justification is that they are heirloom pens that I'll use and will have the rest of my life. Does someone need to spend 110 on a single pen, maybe maybe not, but does someone need to spend 100 200 300+ on a pair of sneakers? We all like what we like and chose to value all sort of material things differently. Just some of those things will last a lifetime being used daily. While some things can only be used for a short time and you'll have to buy that thing all over again.
My question on the pens, is how stock are the refills. Companies and brands go out of business all the time. I have a ton of "nice" pens that I can't find the correct refills for. Be careful on lifetime pen purchases.

Hey, I was just wondering which pocket do you carry your phone in which pocket do you carry keys and other stuff? What pocket do you carry your knife? In I always carry my phone in my right pocket and then I always carry my keys and wallet in my left pocket, but I’ve never carried a knife with me because it doesn’t fit in my right pocket when I’m carrying my phone and I’m about to buy a fix blade for my everyday carry knife, so I’m just wondering where I would put my knife what should I do different?
For me, it's phone in left or lower left it I have it. And knife clipped on right. Wallet and keys in the right pocket low enough that they don't fight with the knife. Or if I have a lower right on those pants they go in there. Like cargo pockets is what I'm talking about. My only problem is trying to get wallet or keys without scratching myself on the outside of some knives.
Have you had your hands on a montana knife co. blade yet? They're big on the hunting side of the industry but i'd love to see how it'd stack up against all of the blades you've had and see what you think.

TPT slide is the most garbage mini utility knife in existence. With 5 deployment slide back and forth it immediately dulls the blade and renders the the cutting edge useless. Exceed designs has a much better option.
I know youre not callin a $195 on a fixed blade crazy when you spent $110 on a pen and got two of em, 180 bucks on a pair of pants and 900 on a watch....
