    We’re at Coachmen this week doing factory tours. It’s so cool to see their product tests! I love the water test. It would be scary if they would have seen a leak. This is a great conversation! Great info guys!

      @@TNTRVingseriously, how did I get watching this video. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Probably because I watched a ton of videos. It’s really fascinating!

    I think it’s great that they are worried about little defects like the small knot in the wood door. But I would like them to take the time to properly plumb Rockwood’s and Flagstaff’s. My 2022 2104s has pex cinch clamps on vinyl tubing which is wrong. Rigor Rv points this out in a recent video of a 2023 Ultra Lite. We love our Rockwood, but proper plumbing should be a given. Have you ever looked at the plumbing on the 2024 models that you have reviewed?

      There is a little misinformation in the video describing the flex hose issue brought to everyone's attention. I was told that Rockwood Flagstaff uses a flex hose that is designed with a smaller diameter to be used with PEX fittings. It's not a standard hose like in the video that's oversized. I will say that I had an issue with our water heater flex hose leaking right at the fitting this past summer (It was more of a clamping issue). I had to cut the PEX clamp off the flex hose as I couldn't fit a tool in the tight spot to crimp the connection tighter. I simply installed a stainless steel worm gear clamp and all has been good with it so far. As a test, I left the other PEX clamp on the flex hose to see If it develops a leak in the future. Note I usually have our water around 43, 44 psi.
      I also know that since there is a public misperception about Flex & PEX being used. Rockwood Flagstaff is working on a change to use hoses with sure caps and "appropriate" fittings.
      I am not sure when the change will be implemented across all the models at this time.
      I hope this helps!

      Thanks for the information. Glad to hear that Rockwood/Flagstaff is listening and is going to make changes to their plumbing and use the right fittings.

    Nice video, but really shows they have a First Time Quality issues. These defects should never left those teams.

      We feel that this facility keeps the overall production quality in check. I would have gladly taken delivery of any of the units we toured, most of what we saw was cleaning or caulking issues.
      Many other brands just ship to the dealers in hopes they correct the mistakes. Appreciate you watching and commenting!

    Wait. Wait. Wait. One of their people have a Mini Lite and got to install the Quick Drop Stabilizers!? I've been bugging Lippert and the official word was that they were't available in the aftermarket. This gives me impetus to be a much, much louder PITA in August - the Quick Drop stabilizers are game changing for a lot of reasons.
    Those people in that facility have eagle eyes - seeing those tape pieces on things I have looked and I couldn't find what all they were seeing in some of the cases. This is pretty impressive and one of the reasons these RVs are such a quality product. And thank you for sharing this video. Pretty darned cool, TNT!!
    Also I had NO IDEA that the stove had a gas detect feature. That's really, really cool! Or, maybe hot. But a great safety feature.

    • @TNTRVing
      @TNTRVing  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I know, Right! I want to swap out our stabilizers for the quick drop. We might have to join you at Lippert to sell our case on how we can help promote the new fancy stabilizers.
      Agree, we were looking and couldn't find issues of concern in some of the areas where the tape was, I felt like what the heck am I missing! The crew there has Eagle Eyes for sure!
      Agree, The auto-off feature is a great safety feature on the stove. If it's not sensing heat from the flame, It shuts off! Appreciate you watching and Commenting!

    This is first time I’ve heard about these quick drop stabilizers. I went online to see how they work. Has anybody had real world experience with them yet? I’m wondering if the extremely long screw gets dirty and also if the paint job on these last longer than your typical Lippert crank down stabilizers.

      Great Question! I know we noticed a considerable difference when we toured the Geo Pro that had them. If you used a good Dry Lube like CRC Power Lube Plus, the threaded rod would stay clean. Thanks for watching, I appreciate the comment.

    Actually, it's a little discouraging to see so much yellow tape. Do they ever make one that's actually done properly right off the line?

    • @TNTRVing
      @TNTRVing  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's a great question! I doubt it, I feel that there are always going to be minor cleaning/putty-filling things that get missed. I will say that I had a difficult time identifying areas of concern in some of the taped-up spots. I had to ask what was wrong with this several times. Appreciate you watching and commenting.

      Sorry for the delay, we both thought each other replied already! Tony's favorite is the 2205s (just like we have) and the 2516s. I like the 2516s and the 2608BS (I like the front kitchens with the separation of space). Thanks for watching and commenting!

    side note i found lots of sawdust and metal shaving in my camper so clean up would be nice. and try to take the camper in mind with space and storage. I've seen so much space wasted when they build them.

      We had a little sawdust in ours as well, first couple trips knocked it loose. They do try to clean up. appreciate you watching and commenting.

      A new stick built home has sawdust and dirt hiding in it also. We learned three trailer purchases ago to turn on the AC to high volume to push out any residual foam pellets, remove all bottom drawers and access panels and vacuum them out. We also take the opportunity to place stainless steel, steel wool and foam in all the floor holes where electrical and plumbing is placed.
