You are in luck! since this video was posted, Rockwood has improved the structural support of the tanks. The only issue now is that the additional weight will add more to the tongue weight. Safe Travels!

I know that the MSRP of the power package is around $11,000. I believe there is a tax credit available when purchasing and installing aftermarket, check out ABC Upfitters in Indiana, If you call talk to Scott. I am not sure about the tax credit for factory installation. I appreciate the kind comments; we enjoy sharing what we have learned with others.

Now that these Solar generators are getting so good, I’m thinking it makes more sense to just get one of those? Maybe having the solar on the roof would be all you need? Somehow fix the solar to plug the power station into. I’m, buying an Oupes Titan 5 when it launches. Around 5,000 wh of battery, 4,000 continuous power, 7,000 surge. Special launch price with coupon, $2,499.00, will go to $3,200 ish. I didn’t price it but 5x200 watt portable panels may add $1,500 tops. So $4,000 all in and it is portable, no added weight to camper. Any thoughts?

Not sure about integrating a portable system with the RV, I hate to have you waste your money. I like how with the Mastervolt system everything works including the air conditioning. Another thing I wanted to mention is that the Mastervolt System now comes from the factory with a DC-to-DC charge controller. The neat thing about that is if you are in an area with little to no sun exposure, you simply plug your tow vehicle into the system (separate power cable) and can quickly charge your 460 Amp Hr. battery. The other thing is that the system communicates with all the components and regulates what it is doing. There is no risk of overworking it and causing a problem. The price I quoted was retail, I would call Scott at ABC Upfitters (574) 293-9399 www.abcmktginc.com/mastervolt they can share more about the system's capabilities. with that info try to negotiate a better price from a dealer if you plan on ordering a new RV or better yet have ABC Upfitters install the system, they are the pros who build the system for Rockwood/ Flagstaff. Also, I know that there is a federal tax credit if you install the system aftermarket. Best of Luck!

The plug on the side is essentially a heavy gauge wire directly connected to the battery, you will still need to have a solar panel and a solar controller to use the plug. It is nice as you can add a little more juice if you are in the shade.

I just took the end cap off of our blind, the blind material is folded over and stapled to a piece of metal. it's installed at an angle on the aluminum grab bar so it doesn't come off. Maybe try to remove the end cap on another blind in the RV so you can see what I'm talking about. Hopefully that helps. Appreciate you watching & commenting.

@@TNTRVing the small Rockwood 5th wheel 281rk is nice. Good ventilation in bedroom, bedroom slide is rack and pinion. Big downside is that the cargo capacity is about 1600#. I am not sure if a 5th wheel though.

I would be interested in hearing what other manufacturer uses six sided aluminum construction, Azdel inside out, insulated with high density block foam. Welded aluminum dinette & bed frame supports. Dexter torsion axles, Goodyear Endurance tires, TPMS standard across the product line..😃 Rockwood/ Flagstaff build some nice RV’s. Appreciate you watching & Commenting..

Rockwoood is now using waterlines & fittings on the pressure side of the water system that are designed to hold an increased amount of water pressure. The non pressure side, example: Black tank flush, antifreeze inlet. Still have flex tubing with PEX clamps.

A large percentage of RV manufacturers were using some flexible braided water lines with PEX clamps on pressurized lines. The lines at the fittings would leak if the water pressure was too high, we had an issue at our water heater with a PEX clamp on a braided hose, I ended up cutting the PEX clamp off and installed a stainless steel worm gear clamp. The new clap solved the issue. Rockwood/ Flagstaff have stoped using flexible braided water lines on the pressurized side of the water system for 2025.

The square tubing of the bottom of the wall is filled with hardwood. From the underside of the floor, heavy lag bolts are run up thru pre drilled holes in the floor up thru wall. Lag bolts are retained by not only the aluminum, but also the hardwood.

The floor is held to the chassis by carriage bolts from the inside, down thru floor and into frame wings of the frame.

They are telling me that that’s the msrp price they will charge me at camping world to have it built and shipped to me. The prices of campers kinda puzzles me sometimes but I’m planning on putting a down payment on it in a few days just would appreciate some input from yall thanks , Mason

Alliance is coming out with some nice floor plans. We like our Rockwood build better, but they are definitely a nice competitor. We realize I say "slick" a lot in our videos, so we think people should make a drinking game out of our videos- shot or drink every time I say "slick"! (😂 Tina). Thanks for watching guys!
