    • @OndrejSraitr
      @OndrejSraitr  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, no. The production speed is not too high. The production temperature is to low for making any visible filament changes during the pulling. Its not melting in the nozzle. Its only heated to easy bend it and join on both sides (yes this pet filament is tube with hole in the middle) this is the reason to lift up the flowrate in your slicer

    I have been working on a project like this for myself so that I can use some dual extrusion and use recycled PET for support/infill material. I cant wait to finish this project, but bit seems the most time consuming part is removing the label adhesive/glue from the bottle. Anyone have any tips? My best luck is vegetable oil, which is wasteful and messy and could possibly just be setting me back more than buying real filament.

      If youre in the States there's a stuff I use to remove label glue, called "Goo Gone" Its great. Just sprinkle some on the glue.. and it will rub off with your fingers in a matter of seconds. Stronger glues, the Goo Gone will need to sit on it for a minute and require a scraper. Just keep dabbing more onto it as you rub/scrape it. It has never failed me.

      MK8 has a 1.5mm nozzle.. may not need to even drill it. But youll probalby need different heater and thermistor. I dont think the V6 ones will fit into a MK8 heat block. So far the MK8 and I think the Volcano are the only hot ends that have the 1.5mm nozzle. I believe the MK8 is cheaper than a volcano setup so probably better off going with that.. but to keep it simple youll probably just want to get the V6 setup and just drill the hole to 1.75mm. The #51 drill bit will get you a 1.70mm hole.
