My rig is exactly the same. It failed smog at idle and I needed to get to the throttle body but its impossible without taking off the doghouse yet fleetwood made mine darn near permanent. I've removed 25 wood screws so fat and I estimate I have another 15 more. Ridiculous! Hard to believe anyone could design something so stupid. Your video has given me hope that this piece is actually removable. I was beginning to wonder. Thank you

    Hey Thanks 4the video!
i've got a 93 Bounder with similar dog house,
and don't understand why they would change it like that?
any*way it would be very easy to make yours their better design ... it's
(One whole Piece) hinged at the top opens right up and leans against dash,
the weather striping is off a car door or hood.
I also have got the counsel on top that has to be taken off b4 it will open all the way, but it's just 2 nuts that I will replace with wing~nuts 4~ease.sorry for the armchair eYeBleeD,
    just Hope2help!

I have a 2008 Fleetwood Bounder. The engine is a GM Vortec 8.1. Do you have any experience with changing the engine air filter?

I have changed my filter. I also have 8.1 Vortec. My filter is located in front of my right wheel. If I remember right it's some latches and a couple alignment tabs. Seems to me that the air box doesn't seem to seal tight. Made sure I have proper filter. ??
