Good for me because I got a drawing from Shunsuke Saito thanks to that but god is it sad.
I can't express just how grateful I am that you covered this franchise. I honestly can't get enough of it. Glad to see that it isn't completely forgotten. If you haven't yet, I suggest you check out "Iconoclasts". It's a metroid-vania with a deceptively innocent start, which quickly devolves into serious topics. I know it might sound boring, saying it like that, but do consider playing it. The characters and story are amazing, along with the gameplay and style of the game. You won't regret it. Also, it was completely made by one guy.
When I played this game I really feel like the Dev team actually had fun making this game. During my play time I feel that the game wasn't trying to be something complex but more of a relaxing type of game where you can take your time to enjoy what it has to offer & complete the game. Would definitely recommend buying this game
I'm watching this while doing my 3rd playthrough of Gravity Rush 2. I didn't know that there was an actual ending until about 2 months after I "finished" it. I had 100% everything else when I found it.
Its one of my favorite games of all time. I know it just had a 82 on metacritic so critics didn’t exactly love this game and i know the flaws in this game but i dunno why this game always has a special charm for me. I love the characters, the world , the music the art style the flying mechanics Please sony make a sequel
I really hope they do make gravity rush 3 on the PS5 or some kind of sequel. I play gravity rush for the first time in December of 2017. I fell in love with it. From the music, language, art style, gameplay, and characters. Kat is one of my favorite characters in video games. She's so lovable. Gravity rush 2 is everything I wanted in a sequel and more. My favorite song from the franchise is An Apple From From The Sky just because hearing the language is so beautiful. It's always nice to hear a new language. It really sucked to hear just as I got into the franchise they were shutting down the online servers. I didn't use it much but it still hurt. I really do wish Sony would give more love to these games cause they're just so lovable. I've heard that the next game wouldn't come out till the next PlayStation console is out after reading some articles and I do hope that remains true. Gravity deserves more love than what Sony gives them
Why did Sony make it (which I'm thankful they did, obviously) but not give it as much attention and love as God of War or Uncharted or even fucking *Knack* ?
@Sir Galahad I think it's because western audiences prefer gruff middle age white men like Nathan Drake as a protagonist, more than a young teenage girl with superpowers.
The chest/box mechanic where players share or reward players for finding them is somehow similar to death stranding mechanic where you recieve or use items or vehicles that has been dropped or abandoned by other users. which you can use to help you on your quest delivery. .....so this migh be the 1st STRANDING like game in some way I guess?
I loved the photo sharing! My landscape pics got so many tokens I was able to buy most everything really quick. I am slightly sad though: I'm missing one last pose from the online.
Gravity Rush 2 was my GOTY for 2017. Ended up playing it for 6 days straight and after having to farm gems for 40 hours to get every upgrade, I finally did the final part of the game (half cause I wanted all the upgrades for the end of the game and half cause I wanted the platinum trophy to pop when I finished the story). I feel sorry for anybody who either didn't get all of the online content for the Dusty Tokens/started playing the game after the servers were shut down cause aside from the neat outfits and props for photo mode and the items you can equip to Kat, the last reward gives you infinite gravity meter when you equip it so you pretty much get to fly for as long as you want. If you were to have gotten it at any point before beating the game, then you'd end up breaking it in half. Since I got it after I finished the game and did pretty much everything, there's not much else to do now unless I want to screw around or redo challenges or replay story chapters.
A truly wonderful game, I wish it had more recognition. I still have fond memories of playing through it with my fiancé right after we first started dating. Definitely would recommend
If all goes well and my Corona issue stimulus check gets deposited I'll be able to get a PS4 finally and get this amazing duology! Can I just say you are freaking hilarious RamZaes? i ADORE gravity rush 2. i looked at so many trailers, so much gameplay videos up to it's release. i booked several days off work to play it as i loved the first so god damn much. i finished it once and never again. some games i can repeatedly play over and over, but certain ones i am like "this... a single time experience" and this was it. it was the same for Nier Automata where i did one full playthrough and was done cause the ending hit me jsut right where playing it again kinda felt.... wrong? anyway, this game is a favourite and it really saddens me that itwas shafted so hard. here's to the devs, good work people.
Sony abandons everything. Those bastards. Edit: Don't let me remind you, they dropped PlayStation All-Stars so quick we couldn't get the Gravity Rush stage for dlc.
@@slimer44producciones3 SuperBot Entertainment tried to get Crash and Spyro. But those characters had no chance of getting in the game. Because Activision was being so stingy back then. Getting the stage was a different story. It was actually going to happen. But Sony dropped the game along with PSAS developer team, SuperBot.
Such an amazing game. Easily among my personal top 5 on the PS4. Also, the dinguses over at Sony thought to more heavily promote the FFVIIHDR (You know, that game that's slated for NEXT YEAR) at the time they were ready to release this game and didn't do ANY kind of coverage for GR2. Good job Sony, good job.
These games probably could've been HUGE if it was given the marketing budget. They could've gone "From the CREATORS of SILENT HILL" or something like that, since it worked so well for Death Stranding.
That ending made me sad for days for how it wrapped up everyone’s character arcs as well as the side characters. I miss Kat for her sacrifice to become singularity to stop the Nevi for good and sealing the black hole. Raven becoming the hero of Hekesiville after everything is so heartwarming especially from what happens in Episode Raven which was just as sad. Even though the ending was ambiguous giving thought to the player whether or not she did see Kat or more likely Dusty, it was truly amazing for it’s story. If a 3rd one continues the franchise, it’ll likely be new characters with the old characters being older with the possibility of Kat becoming a god like the three which would make sense since she was a Queen of a bygone Kingdom. Overall, looking forward to see how Sony handles this to see if this can be revived again in its glory.
Oh please be a Gravity Rush 3, love the series and there are till so many unanswered questions to be addresses about the world and it’s characters. Plus the OSTs are amazing, aways play Gravity Rush 2 OST on my phone.
On the topic of Sony Forgot, Another forgotten game made by Sony is Freedom Wars for the PSVita. It was literally the last game Sony made that was released on the PSVita. It was there attempt at making a God Eater game infact the art style remind a lot of God Eater. It is an amazing game that still has an active online base last time I checked on it. As of today, there has been no remake of Freedom Wars nor a sequel. Compare with Gravity Rush that at least got remastered on the PS4 and got a sequel. Either way, both these properties deserve some love.
I remember that I bought GR2 around the time Sony announced closure of servers. I just beat GR Remaster preparing for GR2 and I was a little burnt out, but I felt I needed to power through, in order to all those Dusty Tokens items. I just managed to get them all just a day or two before the extension was announced. Anyway, after that I got really burnt out, and I hadn't touched the game since. Which kinda reminds me to do it in the near future.
After doing a little bit of research, I can be satisfied that Kat and Raven are not lesbians, but two halves of the same being that represent different halves of that one's personality, so they are basically very close sisters. Therefore, with the uncomfortableness gone, I hereby declare Raven my waifu. EAT IT KAT FANS!!!!!!
You know I just realized something, you guy know that game Warhawk and how it had it several shut down, well believe it or not, fans created an app called Warhawk Reborn that turns local play to online play, AKA they made their own server, and that got me thinking: “what if Gravity Rush fans made their own app so other can play the Gravity Rush 2 Servers again?” I don’t know if anyone is working on it, but if fans can do it that would bring the Game back to life with the Online Severs Gravity Rush 2 Reborn or something Food for thought
Shutting down the live servers a mere year after the game's release, huh. Sure cannot wait until streaming is the main and only way to play videogames.

@@darkwiz428 so have you ever acquired the game, and if so did ya like it?
I’ve been highkey waiting for this
Watching this now is really sad knowing that Japan studios no longer exists meaning we probably won’t ever get anything new from gravity rush
Fraudulently underrated game
Gravity Rush 2 shits on Death stranding in every way possible.
Damn my fellow french gamers don't know shit.
I went to a con this year where the character designer from both games was invited. Due to me fucking up and being unable to find a map of the con I arrived late at the signing session. There were less than 10 persons in line. Good for me because I got a drawing from Shunsuke Saito thanks to that but god is it sad.
Thank you RamZnes for finally doing GR2
I love this game so much I reply this game to this day.
They've captured Kat's Friend (image: We're both lesbians)
Genius
I can't express just how grateful I am that you covered this franchise. I honestly can't get enough of it. Glad to see that it isn't completely forgotten.
If you haven't yet, I suggest you check out "Iconoclasts". It's a metroid-vania with a deceptively innocent start, which quickly devolves into serious topics. I know it might sound boring, saying it like that, but do consider playing it. The characters and story are amazing, along with the gameplay and style of the game. You won't regret it. Also, it was completely made by one guy.
I'd buy this game, if I had a PS4...
That seems like a problem easily solved.
Try PS Now
@@203null what iz that?

Gravity rush 3 about to be the new KH3 because it aint happening anytime soon

@@pitchblack5422 Fun Fact: the creator of Gravity Rush is making a horror game called Slitter Head.
I had literally just watched your previous gravity rush video for the first time like a week ago. What great timeing.
If there is going to be a snony rep in smash it should be kat.
Its one of my favorite games of all time. I know it just had a 82 on metacritic so critics didn’t exactly love this game and i know the flaws in this game but i dunno why this game always has a special charm for me. I love the characters, the world , the music the art style the flying mechanics
Please sony make a sequel
So your favorite games are Ace Attorney, Danganronpa and Gravity Rush, eh
I See you are a man of culture
I love the GR series!!!! I truly hope we get GR3 on PS5

Thanks Ramzaes. You did a hell of a lot more to advertise this baby than sony ever did.
@Sir Galahad Then why didn't Gravity Rush 2 sell well in the west when it got an 81 on Metacritic
@@unicorntomboy9736 the game was a mess the first one at least
@@unicorntomboy9736 One thing that explains everything:
PlayStation Vita
The chest/box mechanic where players share or reward players for finding them is somehow similar to death stranding mechanic where you recieve or use items or vehicles that has been dropped or abandoned by other users. which you can use to help you on your quest delivery.
.....so this migh be the 1st STRANDING like game in some way I guess?
I loved the photo sharing!
My landscape pics got so many tokens I was able to buy most everything really quick.
I am slightly sad though: I'm missing one last pose from the online.
I was gonna like the video because Kat, but then you put in Persona 2 BGM and now I have to sub. Well played.
Welcome back ram
Good to see someone else who loves this series as much as I do!
There’s talks about Sony working on a GR movie and the creator of GR really wants to do GR3 so there’s still hope. It’s 2024 anything can happen.
A truly wonderful game, I wish it had more recognition. I still have fond memories of playing through it with my fiancé right after we first started dating. Definitely would recommend
Thx to you I have bought a ps4 and both of the gravity rush while trying to finish them when I only have a month before I had to go back to uni.
The fake ending thing reminds me of Okami. I really need to play this game.
I so love Kat's black outfit. Outfits with long scarves on video game or anime characters are always just too cute to me.
kat is so fucking cute. she really deserves better.
If all goes well and my Corona issue stimulus check gets deposited I'll be able to get a PS4 finally and get this amazing duology! Can I just say you are freaking hilarious RamZaes? The little inserts from other games and how they are wonderfully timed make me feel so good. Your content is great to watch when feeling down or just need a laugh. Thank you for creating such fantastic content! I'm sure all those little inserts and zoom ins take a lot of editing. You have my 100% approval! I commend you for working so hard on what you do. People could learn a lot from you. :)
Dam, this is my favorite game and it always was. I love when people recognizes this franshised.
Because of your gravity rush videos I was able to try it out and experience this wonderful game! Thank you so much!
I adore this series. The characters, world, and aesthetics is so beautiful. I would give so much to get a third entry on PS5.
i ADORE gravity rush 2. i looked at so many trailers, so much gameplay videos up to it's release. i booked several days off work to play it as i loved the first so god damn much. i finished it once and never again.
some games i can repeatedly play over and over, but certain ones i am like "this... a single time experience" and this was it. it was the same for Nier Automata where i did one full playthrough and was done cause the ending hit me jsut right where playing it again kinda felt.... wrong?
anyway, this game is a favourite and it really saddens me that itwas shafted so hard. here's to the devs, good work people.
Sony abandons everything. Those bastards.
Edit: Don't let me remind you, they dropped PlayStation All-Stars so quick we couldn't get the Gravity Rush stage for dlc.
Or even Crash and Spyro has DLC characters
@@slimer44producciones3 SuperBot Entertainment tried to get Crash and Spyro. But those characters had no chance of getting in the game. Because Activision was being so stingy back then.
Getting the stage was a different story. It was actually going to happen. But Sony dropped the game along with PSAS developer team, SuperBot.
@@Sonic171K What city of heksville do you think they will use for PSASBR

Ok, think about it, Kat would be an awesome fighter for Smash
Such an amazing game. Easily among my personal top 5 on the PS4.
Also, the dinguses over at Sony thought to more heavily promote the FFVIIHDR (You know, that game that's slated for NEXT YEAR) at the time they were ready to release this game and didn't do ANY kind of coverage for GR2. Good job Sony, good job.
Aight hollup the effect at 3:30 is just the intro to the P3D Deep Breath remix I've seen through your schemes
These games probably could've been HUGE if it was given the marketing budget. They could've gone "From the CREATORS of SILENT HILL" or something like that, since it worked so well for Death Stranding.
GR2 is definitely in my top 10 and the series as a whole will have special place in my heart even if they don't make a 3rd one...
If Kat had guns, this wouldn't have happened.
I'm serious. XD
A long ass sword would also help.
Fun Fact: the creator of Gravity Rush is making a horror game called Slitter Head.
photo hunt was the thing that makes me play this game every day until Sony shut down the server.
Such a fun game i didnt expect the story to go the way it went
Gravity Rush is one of my favorite franchises of all time and is criminally underrated
I know this is unrelated but i wanted to thank you for your Tales of Berseria videos, got me to buy that awesome game!
MANN I WAS HOPING THEY WERE

Morw gravity rush?! In 2019!?!??! WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE EVERYONE
:O 6:23 is that Custom Robo music I hear?? Always happy to see some appreciation for that game :D
You know I just realized something, you guy know that game Warhawk and how it had it several shut down, well believe it or not, fans created an app called Warhawk Reborn that turns local play to online play, AKA they made their own server, and that got me thinking: “what if Gravity Rush fans made their own app so other can play the Gravity Rush 2 Servers again?”
I don’t know if anyone is working on it, but if fans can do it that would bring the Game back to life with the Online Severs
Gravity Rush 2 Reborn or something
Food for thought
Shutting down the live servers a mere year after the game's release, huh. Sure cannot wait until streaming is the main and only way to play videogames.
It's surprising that sony wouldn't just make all the online stuff available offline with an update when they shut off the servers, kind of annoying
shame more people did not play this.
