"WHERE'S m'Goddamn electri-CAR, Bruce?!" Line still makes me crack up. The audacity, the annoyance, the way he delivers the line itself, just brilliant. 😆 🤣
Yeah. This video was the first time I've actually heard that line coming out of the joker's mouth so I laughed out loud at it because I legitimately wasn't expecting it and I forgot that it even existed. It definitely was an experience that was hilarious.
Didn't he lose it all at some point in the old comics too? Used the last of his money to buy a community centre if I recall but that was a while back. He also died for a while and went crazy... Good times! :D
Wally west found out batmans identity in the justice league animated series the flash in the justice league war and that universe was Barry Allen although its worth noting that the wally west from the justice league animated series was like a little brother to batman.
Batman meets green lantern for first time: Immediately steals his most valuable possession Batman meets flash for first time: "Hey, you do fantastic work"
To be fair green lantern was a jerk in that movie while the flash was a nice guy. Also green lantern is basically a space cop so even batman knew little to nothing about him, whereas the flash is an earth superhero so batman knows he is a good guy.
Okay I'm 10 seconds in and have a gripe already... Batman's reason for a mask IS different from everyone else but everyone else wears the mask to protect those around them while Batman wears a mask because he is a symbol. Bruce Wayne going out and beating up criminals is much less intimidating than a mysterious cloaked figure in a mask. His goal is to become a boogie man for the criminals of Gotham and he can't really do that if they all know who he is and where to find him. (I also am a firm believer in the idea that Batman is his real identity and the "mask" is actually Bruce Wayne but that is another conversation.) On the flip side, Spider-Man: wears a mask to protect Aunt May and Mary Jane. Superman does his whole mild mannered reporter schtick so that no one goes back to Smallville to harass his parents. Green Arrow, sadly I only know the CW Arrowverse lore but in that he hides his identity so that the criminals he is hunting don't go after his mother or sister. I could go on but I think everyone gets the idea, super heroes are selfless they don't hide their identities to protect themselves they do it to protect their loved ones, except for Batman who didn't really have anyone in his life to protect when he first donned his mask.
“Oh, Batman, you’re so cool and sexy and mysterious I think I’m falling in love with you” “My real identity is Bruce Wayne” “… Oh @&$# I know for a fact I’m in love with you now… So when you say billionaire, you mean like with a B right”
Funny thing. In the Animated Series, Selina didn't really like Bruce that much, but she loved Batman. Bruce even said as much to Alfred. In most versions, she's not that impressed with his money, but just finds him charming in general (which he most certainly is when he wants to be). She liked each side separately and genuinely before finding out they were the same guy.
@@sykeassai Likely because she both respects him and because, despite how formidable he is, he's still only human without any kind of actual superpowers. To her, he's likely a pillar of what humanity can become with enough dedication and conviction. And then, in Batman Beyond she proves how much she respects Bruce during her conversation with Terry, talking about her history with him (and the circumstances involving Ace) and how: *"There are some similarities mind you, but more than a few differences as well. You don't quite have his brilliant mind for instance....you do have his heart though. And for all of his fierce exterior, I've never met anyone who cared more for his fellow man than Bruce Wayne, except maybe you. You're not Bruce's clone, you're his son. You want to have lived a better life than the old man? Take care of the people who love you. Or don't. It's your choice."* She goes from a sometimes-adversary and sometimes-ally, to someone who can't possibly respect or praise him enough, and she understands that while they may have clashed in the past, at the end of the day they both wanted the same thing....to keep the people and the country/planet safe from any and all threats, both those from Earth, and those from other worlds.
In some stories or movies, like The Long Halloween movie or Injustice, Selina somehow already knew and learned that Bruce is Batman. We don’t see how, but somehow she already learned. Just like in Injustice when she somehow already knew that Dick was Nightwing when Superman informed her of his death and where she goes to Bruce to comfort him.
The funny part is that Joker became a good husband (with some psychological issues but never beat his wife), step-father, law-obedient (temporary) citizen and a decent (for Gotham's standards) mayor after he had found out who Batman really was.
Just saw the Joe chill episode of brave and the bold again. Man that episode is timeless with 3 batman 2 joker and Joe chill all in one episode Also it's funny how Harley Quinn show made joker so unique as time went on as a father and doing the killing joke in reverse.
I Like how DCAU Lois found out about Bruce being Batman, but she never found out about Clark being Superman. Not to mention the Jealousy Superman was feeling during that arc.
Only a few people ever figure out who Batman is… Really? The fact that more people worked out Batman's identity than Superman's is a freaking MEME. Lucious Fox, Edward Nygma, Tim Drake, Jim Gordon, Slade Wilson, Ra's al Ghul knew long before Talia did, Bane, Hush, Barbara Gordan often figures it out rather than being told, Luke Fox, I think Renee Montoya did so in more than the cartoon, in modern New 52 continuity the entire Justice League knows who he is. Harley Quinn has unmasked him, other people at Cadmus besides Waller know as well, though not many. Katie Kane worked it out. Joker's gotten it multiple times and just doesn't care for long. Brainiac deduced his identity, the Court of Owls knows. I think in one incarnation the Penguin figured it out. In BTBATB, he straight up tells Joe Chill who he is before deciding whether or not to kill the SOB (he decides not to, Specter does it.) Specter and Phantom Stranger just know. Darkseid knows (doesn't care). I think Vandal Savage knows in a couple incarnations. And of course Leslie Thompkins always knew. Phantasm found out in DCAU, as did HARDAC.
in the modern movies and games she doesn't seem to actually love him, yet in the 90's series to the one episode in Batman Beyond where her father returns they both loved each other, though i did like the final part on this from Harley Quinn "wheres my damn electric car Bruce!"

Was absolutely sublime
THAT was a real PISSER! Joker's voice rising 1/2 octave or so .
The relationship between Bruce and Selina in Gotham By Gaslight was a lot more meaningful and wholesome, even when she found out he was Batman.
joker just wants his electric car leave him be
That part made me giggle
LoL 🤣
Which cartoon is this from btw?
The Harley Quinn Show was a non stop laugh fest!
The way the Joker said it !
Where's my electric car Bruce !
I feel like people forgot that green arrow is rich
In his recent comics, he is often just disinherited from Queen Industries (or if New 52 - Q-Core). And he isn’t the richest in the League, not by far.
Didn't he lose it all at some point in the old comics too? Used the last of his money to buy a community centre if I recall but that was a while back.
