I'd take Avant over any Tesla, regardless of the fact that Teslas are superior in terms of performance and range. And that's a good thing, because competition is always good for the customer.

Give it a few more years and Tesla won't have that range advantage. Li and Na based battery technology seems to be making rapid advances and corporations like VAG and Daimler have their fingers in a few pies. Na advances should hopefully make EVs affordable and Li should bring about vastly improved range. Though, even with that said, Tesla shouldn't be underestimated as a technology company even if they lose their car edge. At any rate, I agree. That Avant is looking quite tasty

Audi's design is so perfect. Aggressive, elegant, manly, stylish, futuristic, and always feels like an Audi. BMW's new designs are horrendous in comparrison.
It’s debatable. The Taycan Turismo variants certainly offer improved cargo space over the saloon version especially as the rear seats fold down, but I would argue that the roofline on the Turismo is so aggressively sloped as to make it more of a hatchback. This is made even more so by the fact that the wheel arches encroach on the cargo space, giving you a narrow, high-lipped, low-height cargo area. Not really an estate in my book. But you could argue that it is, and in fairness the old categories of body styles are becoming so blurred now.
I love the design EXCEPT that rising belt line on the avant. I hate when beltlines rise which Audi very rarely does. It takes away from the window space. It’d be nice if they kept that straight.
First time I've wanted an A6! I hope they don't blow it by dumbing it down too much for production. And very few will buy it at the crazy prices of the e-tron GT - its gotta be a near mainstream car.
Has to be or they wouldn't call it A6. They could have called it A7 for the sportback but they chose to make it an A6 so it'd be stupid if it's more expensive than an A7... Unless they choose to keep the model naming scheme and make the sportback the 7 and the avant the A6.

Say if you use the projection indicators or whatever it's called. If I'm in a car sitting at a roundabout or junction and see an a6 avant e tron indicating with projectors then how do I know which way they are going if there's a car next to them? Especially if it's a yellow car.

Wagons can look very good, as long as the rear doesn't stretch too far beyond beyond the wheels, I wish we had more of them here in Canada. But I guess some people here are traumatised by the school bus proportions of older american models...

The Avant is epic, once you get ranges over 400 miles then you know you’ll get 300 miles with it on the motorway. I think thats good enough for most people, me included. The grill is too big for my eyes but if it’s the same colour as the bodywork it won’t look too bad.
Looks much better than the eqs, and amongst the competitors probably the best looking estate as well. Aalthough admitted, the eqs has a nice fresh interior design.

Projecting light down as turn signal or other reason sounds cool until you realize it's quite dumb: On a rainy day, any projected light on puddles could redirect that light right onto incoming trafic. Also, again, wish they'd changed the product line name because in French, it just spells «t-urd».
If these get made and you're in the market for a premium wagon/estate or saloon, jolly well go and buy them to send the signal to Audi and other brands, that there is strong demand for such vehicles. Then they will continue to make more of them, praising Audi on for making wagons and making noise on social media in general, is not enough.

Batteries are probably taking up alot of space down there, raises the whole cabin which raises belt lines for crash safety.

I love the look from a drivers POV but with kids sitting in the back, the rising belt line makes the visibility out very limited.
