    I have a 2016 CBR650f which I bought a month before I passed my bike test. Five years and 25k miles later I still love it and have no plans to sell it.

      He was a stubborn one for sure. Glad I didn't hit it...hit a smaller bird one time and it really stung!

      That guy was a bit stubborn for sure. I didn't think it would be that close as I didn't exactly accelerate toward him.

    First things first, that is stunning red paint! :-)
    Naked bikes are so much fun to ride, and on the road, you rarely need a fairing for wind protection.
    I think a lot of folk concentrate too much on the bar/pub bragging rights of owning large capacity sportsbikes etc, and are too scared to try the smaller stuff in case they show their inability to make progress. On the road, unless riding like an idiot, there is a lot to be said for bikes in this class! :-)

    • @ThrottleBackRubberDown
      @ThrottleBackRubberDown  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The flake in that paint is gorgeous. I think that is the perfect bike for just getting out and riding for 1-2 hours for sure. Tons of fun, well balanced, sounds awesome.

    😂 It looks small after seeing you on the Beamer! The engine sounded so sweet and smooth. I bet that it easy on the twisted road.

    Still watching this video to the end but wanted to say excellent job on the first ride review. I think you hit lots of good points. I always laugh when people (not you) talk about vibrations. Come ride my Dyna, it vibrates no matter where you at hahahaahha. Good work man.

      Hahah. Yeah...I get that. I had a big Yamaha Road Star that shook a good bit. So many people claim I4's vibrate all the time but they should take a ride on a big twin for sure.

    Great video
    Superb bike i have the older model CB650F had it 2 years , fitted heated grips , little screen , hand guards , i think the CB650R will be on my list when the time comes to upgrade , i will consider the new Triumph Trident 660 , but i'm a Honda
    Best regards Shaun

    There are a lot of bikes I would love to ride, but my rotten knees just won't let me sit on them for any length of time, with my legs bent that much on mid or rear sets.

    That would hurt if you hit the vulture. I hit a small bird once. It hit the windshield first came over the top and hit me in the right chest and shoulder. I was only going about 25 MPH but it hurt a bit. Enjoy the bike.

    The wind is your friend. That's why we ride. Idk why people buy bikes and install a windshield? Makes no sense, to me at least. Before you know it they will want a stereo and a cup holder, wait, they do that too. 🤔
