Bronze EZ dub. White cars needs a slash of color in the wheels, imo. A bright silver wheel would be runner up, but not an option here. Black wheels, although cool, is way too played out from OEM in 2023. Anthracite wheels would be best on Magnetite Gray Metallic WRX, or any other color, but not white.
Man the VBs really grew on me but the Corolla hatchback has had my eye since before the gr ever got announced, all the markups are on the GR are probably gonna steer me towards the VB. The only thing that has me worried is the typical Subaru problems.
I know there was a bunch of people blowing their motor because of the RTV problem on the GR86, does the VB have the same problem with the RTV in the pick up tube? Requiring removing the oil pan etc.
@@JohnnyBlaze710 it does not. One of the main reasons I left the platform. The issue is much bigger on the 86. That being said these motors in general do benefit from a baffled oil pan if you are going to track it.
I see the problem with the car being too quiet extends from the BRZ into the new WRX too. Those are some huge mufflers, no wonder. Regarding your wheel color, I'm a bronze guy.
I feel like axlebacks don't make the exhaust tone deep enough, for the GR86 i really wanted to fit an axleback (to save money primarily), but i have to go for the AWE touring exhaust.

Bronze all day long!! Bronze pops on every color car can never go wrong! White car with black wheels is so played out, when pretty much every OEM car manufacturer has a white with black wheel car package from the dealership it’s time to stop doing black aftermarket wheels.
TBH the grey is kinda pointless and doesn't add anything to the esthetic. My favorite is the black rims, but the black and gold ones are the only two I would consider for this color car.

If you are gonna paint the fenders the body colour then the bronze, but if you are leaving the fender trims black then go with the black ones.

i wanted a gr but the prices were so insane so i traded my gr86 for a 22 vb and dont regret it at all. they are great

It doesn't require a tune as it doesn't effect the performance of the car. Just the sound.
