1:05 these bolts are not included when I installed mine and Cobb says via email (because mine were missing) they now want you to use oem spring bolts that bolt mid pipe and down pipe.
you know what else makes the install a breeze...the lift. backed up on ramps and front tires on stacked cut 2x10s gives just enough space to crawl under the car.....
This exhaust is much closer to a SPT sound and volume then any 5 inch axle back or muffler delete. Cobb has unlocked the “rumble” but without being annoying to both driver and passengers.
I would love to, but we do not currently have one. People want more used than a new fa24dit haha :) As soon as the market corrects and we can get a decent one, on with the videos.
This exhaust option is very tame in the noise department. Although it add's some sound over the OEM exhaust. Build quality, looks, and performance is where this exhaust shines!
Why do videos like this not demo the stock configuration in the same setting first for comparison? How am I supposed to know the difference? Before and after, please.
I like it, it seems like a solid option, but I don't really like the look with all the clamps for the tips. Probably in 99% of situations you can't see it idk. I went with the ETS resonated no muffler one, we'll see how I like that...
@@silversubies6587 yes I know that. But unless it's wider from the TURBO back, its kinda worthless. Anything less than that, is really just for sound, and this exhaust sounds like the stock exhaust. So again, paying $1400 for really, nothing.
@ital1anstallion4 ya people don't realize the catback makes such a minimal difference in performance. It's all for sound. The j pipe is is for performance. Catback is just sound preference. I'd prefer not to spend $1400 on this exhaust that honestly is pretty underwhelming compared to what else is on the market.
@@silversubies6587 Exactly, so if I went that route, I would go with a cat-back that provides more HP and less restriction. They are out there..........
Your in cabin reading was at like 1800RPM...please don't lug the engine like that. And it sure sounded like all of your drive-by's were at low RPM. It was like you were trying to be as quiet as possible.
Dude that's not what it means to lug an engine - lugging is a result of RPM, gearing, and engine load. You could be at 1800RPM in 5th or 6th gear and continue to accelerate - as long as you're doing it very slowly with low engine load. Now if you were flooring it in 4th gear at 1800RPM then yeah that's lugging the engine.
@@AoDAzrael You're still lugging it if you're cruising at 1800RPM. You can argue semantics all ya want, but just know I feel sorry for anyone who buys a used car from you if you drive around at 1800RPMS.

put the sound meter 1 or 2 meters from the exhaust tips..
Nice! Sounds good!!! Thank you for posting sound clips and In cabin!
Thanks for watching!
How does this compare to stock have you done decibels in and out on stock? Thanks!
I'm curious how the cold start decibel level compares to the stock exhaust cold start decibel level.
I’d like to know if there’s any difference outside as well rather than inside of a garage
Thanks for the sneak preview, any idea when this will be available?
per cobb- "soon"
Looks like Cobb hit it out of the park with this
Agree!
Definitely will get this. I’m surprised no drone with no center resonator. This is for people who don’t want to be obnoxious and live in California.
That's me! LA baby and trying to not get pull over by a cop!
New York as well.. super strict sound requirements :( no fun
Sounds so good !
Great video! Looking forward to a slightly louder exhaust. Would be interesting if you can retest at least eight inches away from exhaust. Idk

Looks great and sounds great!
I noticed in your video that you have an STI steering wheel spoke cover. Do you have a video on how to install that?
It’s the Noble Steering Wheel

Oh my that does sound nice.
We think so too!
Very nice quality. Not obnoxious either.
Totally agree!
How much louder is this over stock and 5 inch axle back mufflers? I used to have a 2014 wrx with an spt catback and that was perfect.

I don’t see the product on your website. I don’t see a price either. What are we looking for for the entire catback system?
It is not out yet, as soon as Cobb releases the info we will be sure to let you know!

Any plans for color matched versions of that rear diffuser
By the end of June we should have them available!

What was the noise level before installation. I am debating doing this to get a little more noise but don't want to annoy the neighbors

because there are pleanty of stock revs on there LOL
Is this more quiet than the Noble titanium single exhaust?
Yes it is!
Damn now do I get this? or the noble dual exit when that hits? The choices….
Dual Noble ti arrives in July. This one? I do not have a date yet, they have not disclosed.
@@ImportImageRacing Is it lighter than the factory exhaust? I was thinking about the AWE until I heard it was super heavy.

Honestly, the Cobb has the superior build quality. While the AWE is louder. Similar sound, but given the choice…. I would choose the COBB.

How’s the drone on the highway?
Not bad remember, we do have an aftermarket J pipe on it
You are measuring wrong way. It should be 15 inch away side 45 degrees front center
Nice
I'd rather keep it stock honestly. Hard to see any benefits from a probably $1400 price tag.
