Hope yours shoots good. Got one back in Jan. and it suffers from FTE. Can't make it through one mag without at least 5 to 6 fails. Over 500 rounds later and it still fails to eject.
I was doing a little research in regard to the FTE. You may have better luck by changing the spring. Apparently some of them were shipped flawed and changing the spring fixes it
@@codyrichards6035 I've changed the Copper extractor spring, the extractor claw and the extractor lever. Still fails to eject. I'm pretty much done dumping money into it. Really, at this point it's gotta be the bolt head it self but im not looking to spend $300 right now on one.
Sorry to hear that, I put 150 rounds of some cheap 124grn and so far zero malfunctions. I have heard of ppl having fte and replacing the ejection spring and that clearing up any issues. Hope you get I figured out and would love to know the outcome
Wow that sucks....have you reached out to century arms....hopefully they will help you out with the issues you're having....you pay that much for a firearm you want and expect it to work properly....hope you get it fixed
@@sniffmoneyArmsAndAmmo No. From what I've heard they will just change out the parts that they think is bad and test fire it until it works and send it back to you. Which can still fail to eject even after they change the parts out. But you got to remember, I had replaced all of their original parts to HK ones besides the bolt head itself. So that in it self already voids the warranty. Meaning, they won't honor the repair anyways.
Nice video. I just got mine last week in the same configuration and I have the exact same gripe with the safety. Mine is also really hard to lock the bolt back to the point where I’m hoping nothing is wrong with it. I’ll be hitting the range this weekend so I really hope it loosens up and nothing is wrong with it. You had any issues with the charging and locking back?
@@psyexpression I was able to go once and only able to put 250 through it. Safety is better but still not great and bolt is starting to get a little lighter too but still tightens up about halfway when it engages the trigger. I need to put more rounds through it to see if it loosens up but it was a lot of fun to shoot and I didn’t have any issues or malfunctions
@know562 I just picked mine up yesterday and im having the exact same issues. It's tough to pull back, almost as if it's stuck. Sometimes it does it and sometimes not, very confusing and frustrating. Plus there is no audible click when resetting the trigger. Think i got a bad one.

Man you can change it out with the magpul safty selector, way easier to switch it up and down.
