Thats a SEXY ASS PISTOL FAM!!!!!!! I got the 4.25"..... But I had the 5" (it wasn't mine) for about 9 months.... had the same with a few FTE's.... I did some similar upgrades but Im still waiting for the grip safety and thumb safety brush steel!. Dropped a triji on mine that im shooting for the first time tomorrow. Super dope Fam. Just sub'd. Thanks for sharing.
Quick question- did you assemble it yourself or pass it on to a smith? Did the factory spring work with the Dawson guide rod? Any considerations I should have before I undertake this process? Thank you very much!
I took it apart myself. It’s pretty much straightforward and yes, the factory guide rod will fit on the Dawson tool less guide rod.i do all my own gunsmithing I work at a gun shop. I’m a GunSmith at my job.
Bro we almost got identical pistols. Pretty much all the same upgrades except I have the atlas ambi shielded safety and the EGW magwell. Still waiting for EGW to restock the slide stop. But such a dope two tone gun. One question, how did you get the silver lettering on the slide, the "Prodigy," "DS9" etc
@@1791_2A nice! I have the 4.25 only 100 rounds through it but no problems at all! I only feel the disconnect hang up when I manually rack the slide. But when shooting it, it’s so smooth you don’t feel it hang up at all. I’m subscribed and will watch your journey keep it up. I’ll be making videos soon as well.
Better yet, Quit. If a lame ass like me can quit anybody can. My Best friend who also smoked from 15 years old died in the hospital from the "Vid". Well actually they killed him. I stopped smoking at 32 and also got the "Vid" but i'm 67 now. Just ordered my 4.25 Prodigy.

For the EGW mainspring housing did you go with the fully checked with the Dawson magwell or did you buy the magwell ready version? Any fitment issues?
Use the non fully checked main housing if ur using the Dawson magwell & fully checked if using staccato magwell

It depends on what size ur getting first……. Mines is an 5” so about $300 minus tha cost of my machine work on tha slide & comp barrel

Believe it or not all I did was just continue to run it 500 rounds break in I only received a few light primer strikes
