The problem is that the HK SP5 isn't selling for just a few hundred more. They are going for $4,000 right now. So, even though the price of these Century MKE models seems high, it's still quite a bit cheaper than the HK.
Not really a thing when the MP5 was really popular in the 1980s and 1990s. That’s when it had it’s heyday and was most iconic. Those are the versions I think of when I think of an MP5 and would want.
Have an AP5. Thing is legit. Century isn't involved in manufacturing these, just an importer. If you can find the HK ones in stock they go for at least $1k more.
One of the reason Zenith ditched MKE because their Quality pummeled so now Century Arms picks up the manufacturer even though they knew they’re sketchy on Quality. How many rounds did you put in your AP5?
@@SlavicCinnamonRollie556 Zenith went self destructed and I m not sure if MKE really having "quality" issues since the ones we are running are flawless from the get go

$2700? y'all can keep it
Yah, that’s pretty strong
I agree. What better about this than a PTR for twice the price? Lmao
@@tfkhc37 It’s definitely a late Covid money grab. Even the SP5 is far too high but at least they have the name and the fit and finish.

I wish PTR would make rail-less versions of their MP5 clone.
Why? The claw mounts are not all that great . Lmao I have one with a claw mount . Less parts less problems .
I'd rather they just make clones that don't have awful qc problems

MKE (Turkey) screwed them and then partnered with Century instead.
Yes. Check Zenith’s website. They have some guns coming out.
Went to the site while watching the video to see what the price was....saw $2549...stopped watching video at 00:39.
Thanks Atlantic!!!
Love the 5 dollar case
For the price id rather just get an HK. PTR is a much better buy IMO
Agreed. These won’t sell. Guaranteed.
So cool as long as Century Arms didn't have their grimy hands in the actual build.
