in all honesty, your allies sending in a couple infantry in that direction would make sense as a fallback in-case you falter as a secondary line. You are the only thing preventing them from hitting their armies as well.
That was a good fight. Maybe you needed to keep your army together at the begining. I mean two of your horsemans and two towers were far away from your main force.
I'm actually afraid in the total war series to charge cav head into archers while the archers are on the lookout. Because even one volley is a deadly endgame changer.
