I keep a little jar of resin flashing and little scrap pieces from making other things (like pouring excess colored resin onto bubble wrap for a cool textured inclusion). It can be fun to add them into clear resin and then make funky looking dice out of them. It's all resin, so it shouldn't cause any weight issues, I'd think.

That's a cool idea with the bubble wrap! I have SO MUCH leftover flashing. I've done a couple of dice with some bits of it, but I should really do something more with it at some point.

@@alchemistsattic - If the layer isn't thick you can easily bend and roll it up after it's cured. I keep meaning to lay a piece of holographic window film I have leftover from something else to see if I can get the cool, reflective surface mixed with the bubble wrap texture.
Oh! And pouring resin into the little silicone pop-it toys creates fun things too. Either little half spheres or strips with raised dots that are surprisingly satisfying to fidget with. I love pouring the last bit of excess resin onto weird surfaces just to see what happens.

This was great! The only thing Im working on that I was hoping you might know about are lights. Like bouncy balls that light up when you shake, led strings or strips, etc.

Oooh, I think I've heard of things like that (like in this video from Evan and Katelyn a while back: th-cam.com/video/sJP8mOe5NjU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IzMkouJ7bx79nSmP ), but I haven't used them myself. Lights would be super cool to try!

@alchemistsattic yeah that video was cool!! I saw someone take a dog toy ball that lit up when shaking and they put it in a skull. It was soo cool. If you could find a ball small enough to fit in dice that would be neat. Or even just a glow in the dark ball or rocks.

@@alchemistsattic also, today I got the thermochromatic pigments from let's resin that change colors like mood rings when heated by body temperature. How cool would that be for dice?

@@TheResinersPourHouse Thermochromic pigments are so cool! (and warm?). I actually talked about them a little bit in my last video on resin colorants, but I didn't know let's resin had any- I'll have to go check that out :)

For inclusion ideas, I'd recommend Peter Brown's videos. He does a lot of experimenting with different items and techniques - and also why metal shavings can be dangerous. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try it! Just be careful.
I picked up a set of dice last year that has moss and gold foil, and I love them. My current D&D character is named Moss so I kind of couldn't pass them up.
