Beautiful coasters. Both my hubby and I said green for the background. The chrome edge was an inspiration. I would have put a sticker on the bottom of the holder and finished with a green background too. Hope you enjoyed your trip. I hope your hubby recovers well and quickly after his surgery. 💖💖💖

If you put resin over holographic the holographic goes away. You would need to use the bottom of the coaster as the top and put your sticker on the top.

How odd! I've seen many artists use holo stickers under a coat of resin without problems... Good to know that's not always the case.
I found that out to . Now I add it to the last coat and it works perfectly .
If you put the mica directly on the mold then put the resin in the mica will transfer onto you project permanently then you can put the sticker on if you want to seal the sticker you can use uv resin and a light or more resin

I loved this set so much I went on Temu and bought the decals and the coasters. I just love that green too. So I think I just might duplicate them. The silver trim is great too.

I thought you could not dome a holograghic piece because it will loose the holograghics. I would think because you put resin down first it act the same way as doming. I hope you know what I mean. They are very pretty anyways.
You can’t dome pieces in moulds that have the holographic etching in them. That holo is actually etched into the mould and transferred onto the piece you’ve poured, so if you dome it you lose the etching and therefore the holo effect. With holographic glitter or stickers you can cover them with resin, because it’s not etched into the mould you won’t lose the holo effect.

You definitely could do a thin top coat to protect the chrome trim! I usually do.. I didn't even think of it this time. Thank you!! ☺️

These are so pretty! I was wondering if the holo would show as I know when using a holo mold a top coat will negate the holo effect. But, I love them. I like the various mandalas. I don’t think now is the time of year to do a craft fair in Arizona. I know it’s not here in Arkansas. One has to have a death wish or a portable a/c to do them during summer. I like the indoor ones/. 😁😁😁❤❤❤
PS: I had hip surgery 2 years ago. It was a breeze. In three days I was doing my steps. Just tell him not to do the No, No’s like put too much weight on that leg or twist his hip. He’ll do great!
Thank you!! Yeah, the holographic effect was pretty much lost with the layer of resin. Which I should have known as it doesn't work with faceted jewels or embellishments either. Oh well.. still fun to try.. and learn... again!! haha.

❤❤❤Love these. My friend in California just had hip replacement surgery. Not as easy as he thought it would be. Had it about 2 months ago and still PT kicks his patootie. His doc told him that for the first few weeks, he would hate his doc. Just a heads up.
Yikes! I hope he's better soon! My husband, so far, is doing pretty good. 🤞

i use "stickers" like this all the time in my resin. They stick to the silicone mold, so you can just put it on the bare silicone and pour your resin over them. Then they won't move and you don't have to worry about bubbles underneath of them. These coasters are beautiful, btw.

You made me laugh saying Molotov is a cocktail..lol...a Molotov Cocktail is actually a kind of incendiary device with accelerant in a glass bottle and a flaming cloth shoved into the top, otherwise known as a petrol bomb, it is thrown and extremely horrific.

Aren’t those coasters slippery to put drinks on? I am afraid if they condensation on them the glasses would slide off.
They aren't slippery for my cups, glasses or coffee cups. But I guess it would depend on what you set on it. :)

The green is gorgeous. I have the JDiction mica, you really don't need a lot; it goes a long way.
I do think the green may have made some of the holograph coloring not come through. It's kind of like how green cancels red. I was seeing the silver and a hint of blue. But the reds and pinks seemed to disappear, at least to me.
I still loved it. I've used the avocado green and thought it came even prettier than it appeared in the baggie.
Thank you! That green came out a bit more than I expected.. it didn't sprinkle out it dumped. lol. My mistake. :) It definitely is so pretty made up... so much prettier than the bag shows. I agree 100 % ❤️

Hello, I'm French and I love your creations, this one is superb! i would like to know, i saw you spraying (i hope that's the right word lol) a product to remove air bubbles what is it please because i am beginner and air bubbles are my big problem 🤣
Hello Carol! Thank you for watching. ❤️. I'm spraying Isopropyl Alcohol 91% in a fine spray to help with the bubbles. If you are having problems, it could be that your resin is to cold. Try warming your "Part A" a bit before mixing with "Part B". Also when you mix, be sure to not bring your stir stick up into the air. Keep submerged in mixing cup. I hope that this makes sense and let me know if you don't understand what I'm trying to say. :)

They turned out really pretty! I love the green. The chrome trim looks great, it’s the perfect finishing touch. I hope your hubby’s surgery goes well. I think the procedures are much better now but, recovery takes awhile. I had my detached rotator cuff and another adjacent muscle that was 85% torn repaired last year. They told me it would take a year to recover, unfortunately it has taken that long. Doing the PT is tough but, it’s really vital. I heard a few stories about people having to go back and have the surgery redone because they didn’t do it. Which just adds more scar tissue and makes it even more painful and difficult. I’ll send him healing light.❤

Love these coasters. I ordered the same stickers and learned by accident that they truly are stickers, they have a hard plastic backing that peels off of them.

I have this set and have been concerned about how flat the tops are (so the glass or cup won’t slide off the coaster.) do you have experience with this?
I always prefer rimmed coasters, but most of mine are not rimmed and have never had a glass tip over or slide off. :)
