@@daniel..cooper So you should try a polished silver or gold background and make templates for the different colors of backgrounds. All the primary colors and metals for each. So I thought about what you did and came to the conclusion that it has to be using the same toothpick over and over. Also the white is too heavy, maybe use a dab of white on a toothpick. If you look back at the video, you can also see where in some cases the color rolled in and with the mix and I think that has to do with the mix toothpick. The longer it took you to use the toothpick the mix on the toothpick was lost and became normal again that's why all of the sudden it worked.
@@daniel..cooperSo, I looked at the video. Glue, Food coloring, and dish soap. Ignoring the glue, you can use food coloring in resin. So it was the chemical makeup of Glue having water, good coloring that has water and dish soap that breaks the bonds. So even though it worked somewhat on the 1st one the chemical mix is different. You need to find a happy medium within the colors. White is not it. The oil in my opinion didn't work well at all. You really should try food coloring.
Try letting your color spread out before adding the sinker. Color, sinker, dish soap, color. I think the key is to let the colors spread. I love your accent by the way ❤❤❤😊
Just keep experimenting darlin. Even the fails are successes as long as you keep going until you learn something. Besides, watching you do this and experimenting with your crazy ideas gets me going with ideas of my own. And I feel more normal with another crazy experimentor out there!

It's a shame, however the world is full of nasty, ignorant people and yes, best to just ignore them and ban them - keep up the good work and hopefully I can share some of my little experiments once I get going.
I like them all. The heart is stunning. The one you say muddied is also beautiful. I don’t think someone who didn’t see this video would think it was muddied. That is the artist in you. The last one looks a little floral as well. In a different color pattern, it would look like an anemone.
Never a fail, just a lesson. I can imagine you are going to keep at it 😂 btw I could listen to you talk about resin and experiments all day, lovely accent and calming needed at my age lol. Also any age could watch your channel, definitely a family with kids, you are so focused on what you are doing there seems to be no headspace for trying to impress, that's is how a good teacher works. I'm off to see what kind of man uses the Lords name in vain and the f word in the same sentence is made of, but I know already 🤣 Thank you Mr C.
Really interesting. I think you would have to watch your own video and reproduce the steps of the first piece to see if it worked the same. The oil had a wonderful effect and I loved the heart - it also reminded me of an underwater scene, although from afar it looked like flowers leaning towards the left. It’s always fun to experiment.🥰
I love watching your videos Dan, they're amazing. Oh wow, those are gorgeous, I really love the colours, they'll make beautiful jewellery wouldn't they. The beautiful one with the coral effect would look great it you could somehow put little tiny fish on it, to make it look like it's under the sea. This surely is a wonder why one work and none of the others unless the first one was really hooked up and on the others the stuff was setting. That was the only thing I thought while you were showing. Thanks for sharing Daniel. Glad you don’t let some people’s comments get to you anymore! Keep up the great work. ❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing your experiment! I recently tried a similar experiment with a Japanese paper marbling technique. The ink mattered. The water temperature mattered. The amount and pressure of applying the soap mattered. What kind of paper and how it was placed on the water mattered. :D And it was still great fun to see what the successes and failures created. Keep up the good work!
Someone actually insulted how you speak.. just wow. I love your videos, always look forward to the next. Keep up the great work and the beautiful art ☺️
Each one has its own beautiful effect, thank you another option for so many things , I think the order you did 1 st one was different to the order after . There is no need for rudeness and horrible comments when you are giving us so much . Please carry on enlightening us, helping us and being experimentally brave , and kind soothing tone 🎉❤
That pinned comment broke my heart! I love your videos and you encourage so many people to do great things!! Im sorry you encountered a bad apple sadly they are all over.
Hi Daniel, fantastic experiment with stunning results. May it has to do with viscosty? Ever tried to thin the dishsoap with alcohol? Just an idea, never tried myself. I love all of them, the last one is my fave though ❤❤❤. I think it looks like a octopus eye... how about blach in the middle and white around it for the backing?
Gracias y Saludos!
I really like that heart, very pretty 😍 The first one you did came out cool. When I had issues with the ink not spreading it was because the resin has started to gel. Hit it with a bit of heat should help with that. 💡
I love the way they look! The heart and the last jellyfish one are my favorites. The other oval almost looks like an abstract dandelion that was painted in the resin ❤
I absolutely love the ones that turned out Daniel ❤ Thank you so kindly for sharing your wonderful talent and voice with us all ❤ Take great care and keep creating and smiling xoxo ❤
Have you thought about having a small clear glass or acrylic extension of your work table with a webcam underneath so you can see the underside while you're working?
Hi Daniel, I was going to say is it something to do with the temperature of the resin. Maybe when the resin is warmer, and moving more, that’s wheat is helping the reaction. Experimenting is never straightforward, but I’m sure you will figure it out. Thank you Daniel, I really enjoy watching your trials x❤
Hi Daniel I’m new to resin craft and have watched a few of your videos of which I find very interesting and the way you explain things are very easy to follow hence the reason I have just subscribed. Looking forward to seeing many more many thanks.
Daniel, I love watching your videos, and your voice is perfect for narration!!! Your videos encourage me to try new things and use different methods with tge same molds. I wonder what the difference is in chemical composition between regular resin and the "sinker" pigmented resin, other than the pigments themselves? Is some component combining differently due to being added at a different time in the process? I'm new at this, so I have no idea, so far anyway.
You did the first one different. Colour, sinker, soap. All the others you did colour, soap, sinker. Not having a go at you, watch your video and you will see. Love your videos...😎👌
I love the experiment, love the heart. One that looks like a coral. I would be interested in purchasing that one if you're interested in selling.❤❤❤ Thank you so much for sharing, Daniel. You're awesome!!!❤❤❤❤
My friend uses hers with Diamond paintings, the tube inside the tool is hollow so she may fill it with the plastic pieces, to do the job quicker,as it is a fiddly hobby, I’ll phone her later, Ok Daniel, I’m loving your videos! With today’s it the Sinker ink, so don’t you need the acrylic mix first? As I didn’t see any added first 😸🦮🌟🐕🤩 Luv Chris xx
With the first one u did color, white, and than dish soap. With all the other ones u did color, than dish soap, than white ....that's probably it didn't work 🤷🏻♀️ love how that oil worked in them though. I'm excited to play with some things now. ❤

If that commentor doesn’t like your voice or how you speak he can ruddy ( my gramps word ) well knob off. This was really interesting Prof, the one that worked was sooooo pretty ❤
Fascinating to watch! 👍☺️🫶🏻 Absolutely love the oval pieces! ❤ Just a thought..do you think it could possibly be that after the first initial one, the temperature difference in the others made it fail?🤔
thanks for the experiment! its always great having some one willing to show themselves make mistakes so the rest of us can learn the one that worked is spectacular though
Even if you think it’s a fail - they look great- I understand - it was the technique- but we all learn something from it - TYVM & don’t pay no mind to that person
@daniel..Cooper Just started watching you're videos and...well .. I'm hooked, I've been up late , frustrated with my resin honestly lol ready to put it down for a while ... ^_^ I feel reborn from the ashes ! XD I have some new ideas to do later , and I am excited about resin again!! Thank you so much!
I loved the way you conducted this experiment! 🤩😍🤩 I had so much fun watching you work through different theories and just plain experimenting in general. Though if I may make 2 observations? In the first cabachon (sp?), I noticed that you put the ink in first, then the sinker white, then the dish soap. My second observation was during the creation of the other pieces. That is, the dish soap seemed to halt the inks outward movement and actually started causing it to retract on itself. Maybe it's just me but that's what I noticed. I realize it's all over with, but maybe it can help with future experimenting.🤔 Thank you so much for sharing your craft with us. 😊 🙏 P.S. If I had an issue with the way you speak or write, I wouldn't be a subscriber. You are you, and you are good at what you do. Let the others be petty minded, jealous insects. Looks like the channel had a bit of fun with your troll before you shoved him back under his bridge, LOL. Hey, every resin creator I've watched has had nothing but good things to say about you, and personally I love your voice, very soothing. Plus you don't "fill in the spaces" with goofy background music, which helps those of us with hearing problems. I bet you figure this out! Thank you Daniel!

I'm off to see what kind of man uses the Lords name in vain and the f word in the same sentence is made of, but I know already 🤣 Thank you Mr C.
Thanks Alison 🥰🫂
Great experiment Daniel!! I wonder if it is due to the time after the resin was poured being longer?
Really interesting. I think you would have to watch your own video and reproduce the steps of the first piece to see if it worked the same. The oil had a wonderful effect and I loved the heart - it also reminded me of an underwater scene, although from afar it looked like flowers leaning towards the left.
It’s always fun to experiment.🥰
Thanks, yes, I'm wondering now if the soap actually did anything unique, it's so hard to tell. I will try again soon 😁
Your an amazing artist!! Never mind the small minded jealous people out there. Just continue to be you 😊😊
Thanks Dawn 😁
I love watching your videos Dan, they're amazing. Oh wow, those are gorgeous, I really love the colours, they'll make beautiful jewellery wouldn't they. The beautiful one with the coral effect would look great it you could somehow put little tiny fish on it, to make it look like it's under the sea. Thank you Dan, I'm going to have a play around and see if I can conjure up jewellery as beautiful as yours. Like others say, try to ignore the trolls Dan, they're not worth the oxygen. I follow lots of people on YT, from crafter to politics, and every single one of them get trolled now and then. There's some nasty people, but the majority are lovely. We love you Dan, and you have a lovely soothing voice, with a fab giggle too. Don't ever change, we love you just the way you are. Take care, stay safe, and have a brilliant week ahead. Cheers Dan, xx❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
Thanks so much Val 🙏 🥰
These turned out amazing considering you were only experimenting I loved how different but individually beautiful at the same time
Thank you so much!🥰🫂
This surely is a wonder why one work and none of the others unless the first one was really hooked up and on the others the stuff was setting. That was the only thing I thought while you were showing. Thanks for sharing Daniel. Glad you don’t let some people’s comments get to you anymore! Keep up the great work. ❤❤❤
They looked lovely x
You mentioned maybe your redin cooling, as it does. Maybe try with heat mat on low. See if the heat does make a difference 😊
Yes, so much can play a big part in this I think 😁
Ink, sinker then dish soap. I have learn a lot from you mate, good luck
Thank you 😊
What we see as “not so wonderful”, someone else is going to see it as amazing!!!
Someone actually insulted how you speak.. just wow. I love your videos, always look forward to the next. Keep up the great work and the beautiful art ☺️
I get it a lot 😂
The first one looks like a jellyfish, very pretty. If its a bit cold try warming the soap a little. Great work Daniel, thank you.
Thanks Samantha 😁
Each one has its own beautiful effect, thank you another option for so many things , I think the order you did 1 st one was different to the order after . There is no need for rudeness and horrible comments when you are giving us so much . Please carry on enlightening us, helping us and being experimentally brave , and kind soothing tone 🎉❤
Thanks Gina 😁 Yes, will try again soon and make notes 🙈
I loved the all! The muddy one is gorgeous and the coral! 🎉❤
Thanks Shannon 😁 😊
Interesting technique Dan. Loved the outcome x
Thanks so much! 🥰
That pinned comment broke my heart! I love your videos and you encourage so many people to do great things!! Im sorry you encountered a bad apple sadly they are all over.
Thanks for another experiment, Daniel! Could it be the difference in the dish soap brands? Congrats on 126K!
Thank you 😊 Yes, I think brands could matter with this. Will update soon 😁
I loved all of them. Don't change.💜🎗
Thanks Rita 😁
I really like that heart, very pretty 😍
The first one you did came out cool.
When I had issues with the ink not spreading it was because the resin has started to gel. Hit it with a bit of heat should help with that. 💡
Will definitely try again soon 😊 Thank you 😊
I love the way they look! The heart and the last jellyfish one are my favorites. The other oval almost looks like an abstract dandelion that was painted in the resin ❤
Never apologise the first one and the heart are beautiful, the second oval is intriguing- love watching your videos ❤
Thank you so much! 🥰🥰
This is going to be my new hobby, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!🎉
❤Thank you for always giving us inspiration and a chuckle
It's like a beautiful flower with the yellow pollen center ❤
Thanks 😁 😊
I absolutely love the ones that turned out Daniel ❤ Thank you so kindly for sharing your wonderful talent and voice with us all ❤ Take great care and keep creating and smiling xoxo ❤
My pleasure 😊 Thanks Dale 😁 😊
❤ Im glad your back. I get that same tone in my voice when things dont work the way i think they should . Sometimes they turn out better. ❤
Thanks Denise 😁 😊
Have you thought about having a small clear glass or acrylic extension of your work table with a webcam underneath so you can see the underside while you're working?
How amazing! Love this experiment. I like all the pieces as they are all very different. Stunning effects.
Thanks so much 😊
Hi Daniel, I was going to say is it something to do with the temperature of the resin. Maybe when the resin is warmer, and moving more, that’s wheat is helping the reaction. Experimenting is never straightforward, but I’m sure you will figure it out. Thank you Daniel, I really enjoy watching your trials x❤
Thanks Lesley, will definitely try again soon and crack it 😊😊
Hi Daniel I’m new to resin craft and have watched a few of your videos of which I find very interesting and the way you explain things are very easy to follow hence the reason I have just subscribed.
Thank you, so much could be playing a part, I will work it out and update everyone soon 😁
Wow thanks for sharing your art daniel sir it's amazing thank you sir ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🥰
Most welcome 😊 thank you 😊
This first one is Gorgeous! ❤ I’m wondering what would happen if you hit the last ones with your heat gun?
Thanks Deb 😁 Maybe, will definitely Master this 🥰🥰🫂
Dan, I think your experiments are amazing, so unique ❤your ART.
Thanks Alison 😁 😊
You did the first one different. Colour, sinker, soap. All the others you did colour, soap, sinker. Not having a go at you, watch your video and you will see. Love your videos...😎👌
Yes, will try again soon and make notes 🙈
Beautiful work as always you never stop to amaze me ❤
Thank you so much 🥰
I love the experiment, love the heart. One that looks like a coral. I would be interested in purchasing that one if you're interested in selling.❤❤❤ Thank you so much for sharing, Daniel. You're awesome!!!❤❤❤❤
Thanks Angel 🥰 I'm not selling at the moment, sorry
My friend uses hers with Diamond paintings, the tube inside the tool is hollow so she may fill it with the plastic pieces, to do the job quicker,as it is a fiddly hobby, I’ll phone her later, Ok Daniel, I’m loving your videos! With today’s it the Sinker ink, so don’t you need the acrylic mix first? As I didn’t see any added first 😸🦮🌟🐕🤩
Luv Chris xx
Interesting experiment, they all look cool
Thank you 🤗
With the first one u did color, white, and than dish soap. With all the other ones u did color, than dish soap, than white ....that's probably it didn't work 🤷🏻♀️ love how that oil worked in them though. I'm excited to play with some things now. ❤
I actually really like the way you speak it reminds me of my youth and where I lived as a child. If I am really angry I go back to being pure South London. If that commentor doesn’t like your voice or how you speak he can ruddy ( my gramps word ) well knob off.
This was really interesting Prof, the one that worked was sooooo pretty ❤
Thanks so much 🥰
Fascinating to watch! 👍☺️🫶🏻
Absolutely love the oval pieces! ❤
Just a thought..do you think it could possibly be that after the first initial one, the temperature difference in the others made it fail?🤔
Thanks Sue 😁 😊
@@daniel..cooperignore that nasty mouthed guy Daniel. He’s got his head stuck up his backside. That’s why he’s talking s..t!
That's what I thought also!!!
thanks for the experiment! its always great having some one willing to show themselves make mistakes so the rest of us can learn the one that worked is spectacular though
Even if you think it’s a fail - they look great- I understand - it was the technique- but we all learn something from it - TYVM & don’t pay no mind to that person
Thanks Joyce 😁
This is So Interesting. Ive just started playing with epoxy & its so neat to see all the things people have tried❤
Thank you for all you do to teach us. ❤
You are so welcome, thanks Judy 😊
Love your experiments Daniel. Keep them coming. Just my 1 cent
@daniel..Cooper
Just started watching you're videos and...well .. I'm hooked, I've been up late , frustrated with my resin honestly lol ready to put it down for a while ...
^_^ I feel reborn from the ashes ! XD
I have some new ideas to do later , and I am excited about resin again!!
We, your followers, know better. ☺️🤗
Che meraviglioso
Gioco di colori ❤spettacolo
Per gli occhi❤
Grazie di condividere e insegnarci il tuo sapere
I’m obsessed with that heart!! Love the idea of the part petri ❤
Thanks as always Kerrie 🥰🫂
Looks like the channel had a bit of fun with your troll before you shoved him back under his bridge, LOL. Hey, every resin creator I've watched has had nothing but good things to say about you, and personally I love your voice, very soothing. Plus you don't "fill in the spaces" with goofy background music, which helps those of us with hearing problems. I bet you figure this out! Thank you Daniel!
