  • Please enjoy my 2nd podcast conversation with 'The Iceman' Wim Hof -- a modern-day force of nature who has mastered the art of breath to unlock heightened states of consciousness and untapped reservoirs of human potential to do the unfathomable.
Disclaimer: Never practice any of the breathing exercises described in this conversation without proper supervision. Avoid doing them before/during any activities where a loss of consciousness may prove life threatening. The breathing methods discussed may have a profound effect and should be practiced exactly as explained and always in a safe environment.
    Enjoy!

I’ve been on and off anti depressant medication all my life. Nothing really worked. I started the WHM a year ago and everything has completely changed. All these symptoms have disappeared. You can't truly understand this man's teachings unless you give it a try. One of my favourite quotes from past interviews with Wim is "You won't find the meaning of life from reading books, YOU are the book, and you need to open up." I started my adventures with the cold about two years ago. It is a beautiful and empowering thing. It can be difficult to start, but anything truly worthwhile is. Think I'm wrong? Give it a try. =)

Happy + Healthy + Strong = Truly Free... I realize this is 5 years old at this point, but thanks so much for posting this podcast, I'm a big fan of Wim and his practice. It has helped me (and continues to do so) with so many physical conditions from fibromyalgia to chronic arthritis pain, sleep apnea, chronic headaches, and auto immune conditions, among others. I love his perception of the mind-body connection... very similar to the native philosophy that everything is connected, we are all related, and the sacred hoop of life. Very interesting- I'm currently studying the idea of what psychology calls "genetic memory", and how it may have a play in all my physical troubles (through genetic memory of past experiences of my ancestors and the learned responses they may have passed on to me). He speaks from the heart and soul. He is truly amazing and I started practicing some of his teachings. I am already experiencing my physiological changes to my mind and the body. Thank you so much for sharing the abundance of potential within our mind and the path to unlock it. Truly inspirational. Love to this wonderful man Wim Hof and thanks to Rich Roll for hosting.

Thank you so much for this interview! Wim is such a beautiful person! He’s got it right. We’ve turned our back on Mother Nature and are paying the price BIG TIME.
Going into the deeper layers of ourselves and getting back to nature should be taught in all of the schools. We wouldn’t have all this opioids and loneliness epidemic 28:37.
We’ve got to stop all this sectarian nonsense in the world - it’s dividing families and making people miserable.
Like Wim says, “It’s time for the SOUL - It’s all about Happiness, Strength and Health, and the rest is BULLSHIT!”

Hell yeah HOF! It’s easier for someone to come at this with science then the yogis who just say to do it.
In kundalini yoga taught by yogi bhajan he advocates a similar start to the day. By stretching and pranayama(breath exercise) then Ishnaan(cold shower). Great to see it all connecting.

You have confirmed many things I have believed all my life, but had no idea how to tap into. Your story is a real testimony to the human spirit. It’s very humbling and inspiring to see how a journey borne in the depths of suffering and tragedy could rise to the highest level of human existence. The multitude of lives you have and will touch and improve is an incredible way to honor the memory of your wife and your love for her. Thank you
