#QUADLOCK have once again come up with the goods. For the creators and motovloggers, and people who just film action type content, they've invented an adaptor for their index fitment that will now hold an action camera. It works with all their mounts from the range including the tripod and their 360 dual pivot system. Here I show you how it all comes together along with their new suction cup. #riderguider #theriderguider #quadlockcase #quadlockmount #actioncamera #actioncamerareview #actioncameras QUAD LOCK DAMPENER 6 MONTH REVIEW & HONEST OPINION ON WIRELESS CHARGER • QUAD LOCK DAMPENER 6 MONTH REVIEW & H... I've so far only had the Quad lock phone mount on the bike and have to say it's performed brilliantly, so now when using an app to complete such as the rallies and having made a phone charging connector in the right side glovebox it stays on all the time. It doesn't even need that vibration damper, well it is a Honda after all! Such a great idea that using the mount for a camera definitely worth looking in to. All the best to you both, ride safe and happy.
Have you found a way to use the vibration damper with your sony fdr action cam? I use ram mounts to attach the sony fdr x3000 to the frame of wheelchair with solid caster wheels, but the up-down vibrations/movements are too much for that cameras stabilization to compensate for.
Hi Matt, the vibration dampener would probably make it worse, it's not a product designed for smoothing out the footage, but more for protecting the inner works of a phone camera lens. The only thing I'd suggest is a camera (or phone?) with better stabilisation than the FDRX3000. It's a great camera but is now getting a bit dated compared to some of the new stuff like the Insta360 or DJI for example.
Great video, really helpful. You briefly showed how you mounted your Sony action camera to the side of your helmet. I have a Sony action camera also and would like to know what quad lock pieces you used to mount your helmet, thank you.
Hi Mark thanks mate, yes ... there are two choices of universal adaptors www.quadlockcase.com.au/collections/accessories/products/universal-adapter and then the adhesive wall mount www.quadlockcase.com.au/collections/shop-mounts/products/quad-lock-st-adhesive-mount-twin-pack?variant=40055043850353 ... when you install, have a 'dry run' with the positioning of the camera to make sure the lens front is the same angle or close to the same as your helmet visor 😀

MARVELLOUS ... that 360 Insta puts out some awesome quality footage at that front wing too.

Thank you for your reply, I’ll give it a go. If I need to pick your brain again I’ll drop you a line.
Nice review. If #QUADLOCK every reads that: I also wish there would be a Garmin-adapter and a 1/4-inch for normal cameras ...
YES great idea to be fair. Hope they do have that in mind for sure.
