While I was in Lockhart,TX for the TMBBQ festival ,I stopped at Terry Black's Barbecue at their newest location in Lockhart,tx.The crew was really friendly and generous enough to let me interview them and walk around freely ....for that I say thank you Terry Black's Barbecue and I really appreciate the hospitality and the warm welcome

I live in Lockhart. Its called the Barbecue Capitol of Texas. For a small community we have at least 6 bbq joints. All are great! Come on down.

Discovered this little gem by word of mouth, then decided to stop in on my way to Pflugerville to watch the North Shore vs Austin Westlake state semifinals game.
I've been to quite a few bbq joints over the years but none of them had brisket and sausage anywhere near as good as what's on the menu here.
I wish they'd open up one here in Houston already.
truth bbq is in Houston ...another great place to at some good bbq

You do not buy 25% of all the PRIME BEEF in the USA; not even close. That's ridiculous.
I was enjoying this video and love the behind the scenes BBQ videos, but claiming you purchase 25% of all the PRIME BEEF in the USA is just insane. You don't even buy 25% of the PRIME BEEF in Texas; maybe Lockhart.

I’m not taking away from their barbecue, because I have excellent barbecue, but I know Franklin’s Roy and Louis and Goldies, and then two other ones that use nothing but prime everything he said no disrespect, but he doesn’t know he’s talking about they’re not the biggest buyer of the prime

Cattilacs bbqbin Farmers branch in Dallas uses Waygu beef, higher grade than prime
