Hey Clarence! Looking at your technique and your physique, I can tell you are pretty new to weight training. I would recommend watching instructional videos by Rich Piana for example. That being said I really enjoy your videos, and I really think you can become one of the strongest guys in your gym/on youtube if you put your mind into it. Take no offense, I'm just guiding you as an experienced lifter.
That's an interested idea. However, i personally recommend Mike Chang's 6 pack shortcuts, because the more abs you have on your torso, the more you can lift!
Rich Potato you were talking about raw power in your first post don't move the goal posts. he doesn't train Olympic lifts, which are just as much about technique as they are about strength. what a ridiculous comment honestly.
Are you joking? Because you're kind of giving advice to a guy who's been doing this same exercice for years and is very well worthy enough to compete in the Olympics.
Can you make more of these? Raw, minimalistic, training compilation. This is part 1 so I'm assuming you will but these are the best type of videos. Believe it or not these kinds of videos are very to find on youtube.
Still single to this day... have no idea what's wrong meeting tons of women every day... wait a sec! Now i need to find out what's that ,,Squat'' word means.
Hey Clarence, thanks for uploading these longer videos! Do you ever do smaller isolation lifts to help increase your strength or do you stick to large compound movements?
Hey Clarence Just a question. Dont you feel sore after all this training? I mean..Powerlifting and weightlifting..Man comon . These kilos must be a fkn killer to get through everyday of the week. Cheers for the gr8 work
Honestly, look at those reps. Wow, you are really good and you train really well. So well you don't need a belt or knee protection to lift heavy weights. Your strength matches the weight you try to lift.
Hey Clarence! I've always admired your insane strength man. But one question I have about your squatting technique is why you shift your weight forward at the last second have your knees track past your toes. Traditionally it's been recommend to sit back and keep the weight on your heels behind your toes for the whole lift right? Just curious.
you're supposed to keep the weight over the middle of your foot. as to why he moves his knees forward at the bottom of the lift, it's probably because it's the only way his hips will allow him to go deeper. so it's entirely personal to him and shouldn't be mimicked. everyone squats differently.
You walk the street at night. You hear footsteps. You're not a fearful person, but it's dark and your instincts kick in. You just want to feel safe. You look behind you. You see a fairly tall silhouette. It's a hooded guy, and he pays little to no attention to you. He passes you by. You feel safe. Little did you know, something of a legend, a titan, a god just walked by you.
I noticed the best squat lifters have an immense amount of ankle flexibility. I have watched many powerlifters who neglect or just do not focus on that little variable that much...
Clarence, I don't know if you've answered these questions. but in you first years of weightlifting or even now if you still have issues with it. What exercises do you do to strengthen you core and how did you prevent upper back rounding during the front squat?
Can you do a squat video on form? Maybe discuss stuff like Knee position relative to toes If you break at the knee to maintain balance, or if you lean forward kind of like a good morning A safe amount of "butt wink" etc? Thank you.
A lot of hip flexion in every workout. I wonder how do you solve the overuse tendinit problems. Will you share stretching session of you? Or do you do smth different? I'm suffering from iliopsoas tendinit so.. :((:(
Based on my recent calculations: Clarence built Stonehenge all by himself
