      @@MADEEveryday do you use the zipper foot for the entire project? and do you switch zipper foot sides when you sew each side?

    • @MADEEveryday
      @MADEEveryday  5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@CrazieRacie You could use the zipper foot for the entire project. But I like to switch out to my standard presser foot for the sides and bottom. Your standard foot gives you more control because it has more surface area pressing down on your fabric. But your zipper foot is nice because you can get real close to the teeth of the zipper. So they both serve a purpose. But you can always make it work with what you have!

    Great Tutorial. I am new to sewing and not real sure what zippers are appropriate for the different bags. Never new there were so many different ones. You explain in the simplest way keep up the great work. I think it is great that someone would take the time to make these tutorials I know that they have to be very time consuming. In my case I have begun to learn my way around my sewing machine somewhat and learning sewing terms. Think of something you have never done before itls like going from Fractions to Calculus over night with some of the tutorials I have tried to follow. I wish a beginner could sit beside someone and help break it down so true beginners understand. I think you are great well spoken and sweet. I was able to complete my first bag but had trouble with my fabric shifting hoping it will get better. Never would of thought of the word shifting if I hadn't read it before :) I would have said dang fabric keeps moving. Bless you and thank you for your hard work

    This is the best tutorial for a zippered pouch in this style! Other tutorials were having me sewing upside down, backwards, and I actually ended up breaking my needle before ripping out my stitches and giving up to destress. I finished my pouch with this tutorial within 30 minutes, and it's the cleanest zipper work I've ever done! And I'm an intermediate seamstress, zippers were just the bane of my existence :P Nice to have better skillmanship in zipper sewing.

    I’m one of those people who learn by being showed face to face. One lesson with my sewing teacher and everything i struggled with made sense. I mastered a zip pouch with no lining before lock down so was determined to do one with lining, with instructions from my teacher I’ve got in a right pickle over the sandwich process, written down just made no sense so thank god for your video, sooooo easy to follow. Thank you
