    My favorites from this video:
    1. Hellephant Charger, aka, supercharger
    2. Dodge Charger juice, the one with v10
    The other ones weren’t bad but they still have a special place in my heart!

      Yeah that’s a mystery to me. Honestly I think the price turned a lot of people off and they didn’t want to break their crazy dealer MSRPs. You could do that same thing for way way way cheaper elsewhere. $10k US for roughly 75 horsepower idk about that

    I dont like the front end of the 2015 - 2020 Chargers. The only thing that could redeem it is if they used hide away headlights, like on the late 60s Chargers, making the front grill run across the front continuously when the headlights are not in use.

      I hate the new chargers kinda entirely. I get that they wanted to make the charger into it's own thing, rather than similar to the challenger like the original chargers - but come on now. A modern look on classic muscle like the hellephant concept would have been a way cooler look for chargers and would EASILY make them one of the most aesthetically pleasing cars money can buy

  • @Mr_57ChargerRT

    We all know if that Charger Concept would have made it to production, it would have had the same CHEAP interior as the 1998-2004 Dodge Intrepid.

    I remember at Laguna Speedway at a historical auto show, Dodge was the featured brand, I saw a dodge charger concept with a straight 8 (yes I said straight eight) with a hydraulic hood that extended to infinity and beyond. The car was a 4 door kinda, like the rx8, two full size doors and two suicide doors (smaller). This was right before the reintroduction of the brand, I was fairly excited since I own two 69 chargers. I simply cannot find the pictures I took of it and cannot see any posted on the internet. It was a one of a kind like all concepts.

    Well, this is what happens between a concept and production. They come up with a wild looking design that everyone that likes the car falls in love with. Then the people in charge of the budget to build said car changes the outcome of what can be brought to the public. Then, the vehicle has to be built to accomodate all the newly neccesary emissions equipment that alters where things can be put on the car.

      @@MarspeedCars I prefer the challenger (if stock). it's low slung, aggressive, the grille looks like a whale about to suck you up and the body lines flow well while being rough. When we're talking modded then the charger. I really love your 2006 Charger Daytona and I think it's a prime example of what a charger done right looks like. And the challenger is the only muscle car left.

  • @mayhemgarage80
    @mayhemgarage80 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You got the 2nd last one wrong Marsspeed 🤨🤦🏼‍♂️ the Hellephant Super Charger was not a concept, thats an actual 68 Charger that was heavily modded to present the 426 Hellephant, there is nothing thats concept about that car at all, they bought a 68 Charger, and customized it, Fiat/Chrysler had no intention of producing that car at all, so thats not a concept

    • @MarspeedCars
      @MarspeedCars  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Let me explain my reasoning lol, first it’s referred to as a concept in official FCA/Stellantis media (just checked). But I think you’re definitely right! To me concept just means more of a one off creation. But yeah bottomline, for me that was a one off creation to showcase the 426 Hemi so it can be considered a concept. I don’t think the word has to be used only for cars intended for production, as many concept cars are simply a design study

    And all these concepts will be no more after 2023 . Chrysler is no longer available by name which is now called "
    Stillantis " Dodge line will be reduced and SRT - RT - Demon- Hell Cat - Scat Pack -all will be no more after 2023. Fiat just wanted to make it into the US market with out paying import fees and now bring in Europe style cars but nothing in American muscle car concepts.
