Plus 2015 and up models are even safer with plenty of airbags and better crash safety (look up the IIHS rating). Combined with new traction features and a independent rear suspension, even brazen mustang drivers need to try hard to mess up. I'm not saying mustangs aren't the safest nor have the best drivers, but they're great cars.

I knew a few people who had very serious injuries from motorcycle crashes. By all means, surround me in as many safety features as possible. I’ll never forget a report on unsafe cars in the early 90’s, it had the Camaro at number one, and the Firebird at number ten. Since they were structurally the same car, that proved that it had nothing to do with the cars themselves , but with the kind of drivers that bought them. The Firebird cost more so they tended to be bought by older, more reserved drivers.

There's also the decade old issue (to this day) of camaro starters melting its wires due to bad placement (no protection from firewall) and causing fires... was never recalled for it even though chevy has settled multiple class action lawsuits about it...

The fact that the average buyer couldn't handle the power and often loss control. Yeah. First 3 vipers I seen all had collision damage, which dodge couldn't keep parts for and had to make on special order as needed.
You can legally own it in Europe, but you have to find an importer for it, who will charge a premium and you have to essentially get it approved as if it was a car you built in a garage by yourself. Costly, but not impossible and changes to the bodywork are not necessary.
Well I believe it’s just the ZL1. You can still get the lower trims, which would be more useful for daily driving... unless you’re getting a Camaro for the ZL1 racing package
@@sehajkaler9285 It will cost a pretty penny but the SS uses almost the same block as the ZL1 and they do sell adapters to put the ZL1 supercharger on it. So you could essentially build a ZL1 out of an SS if need be. (Idk if they sell the SS in europe though). You can also swap the Aero and entire front bumper for a ZL1 if you want to as well. (Source - has a SS with ZL1 aero)
One day I decided to read a bunch of Wikipedia articles about some of my favorite cars and the 2009 Kia Soul can also be in the #5 spot, for it too has a poor left side collision rating while everything else is safe and strong.

Also 5 years ago me and mom stopped at a restaurant who’s parking lot was empty and ate in the car only to watcha guy come in and TRY and do donuts in a corvette very poorly, stop to talk to us (brag, basically) pull up to the edge of the parking lot where me and my mother could smell the clutch he just burnt the shit out of, and then drive away. Then, when we pulled out we went in the same direction only to find his brand new vette engulfed in flames on the side of the road, and while driving by him and his daughter who he just endangered, heard him on the phone saying “I don’t know what happened” to whomever he was speaking too. Got a pretty good chuckle out of it at the time and it’s still one of the fondest memories I have with my mother 😂

@@jaks7199 Honestly I loved the multi-link front suspension, it had incredible road response. And the longitudinal 1.8T was exceptionally smooth. Held on to my 03 clear up to 2018 w/ 160k miles on it.

You can legally own it in Europe, but you have to find an importer for it, who will charge a premium and you have to essentially get it approved as if it was a car you built in a garage by yourself. Costly, but not impossible and changes to the bodywork are not necessary.
Well I believe it’s just the ZL1. You can still get the lower trims, which would be more useful for daily driving... unless you’re getting a Camaro for the ZL1 racing package
@@sehajkaler9285 It will cost a pretty penny but the SS uses almost the same block as the ZL1 and they do sell adapters to put the ZL1 supercharger on it. So you could essentially build a ZL1 out of an SS if need be. (Idk if they sell the SS in europe though). You can also swap the Aero and entire front bumper for a ZL1 if you want to as well. (Source - has a SS with ZL1 aero)

But I think (I hope lol) they are still far more loose here than in EU, at least you can't buy Lada 4x4 in EU anymore (which upset a lot of 4WD lovers) while here these ultracheap offroader tin cans are all the rage hehe.

Also 5 years ago me and mom stopped at a restaurant who’s parking lot was empty and ate in the car only to watcha guy come in and TRY and do donuts in a corvette very poorly, stop to talk to us (brag, basically) pull up to the edge of the parking lot where me and my mother could smell the clutch he just burnt the shit out of, and then drive away. Then, when we pulled out we went in the same direction only to find his brand new vette engulfed in flames on the side of the road, and while driving by him and his daughter who he just endangered, heard him on the phone saying “I don’t know what happened” to whomever he was speaking too. Got a pretty good chuckle out of it at the time and it’s still one of the fondest memories I have with my mother 😂

@@camman9235 It's usually the normal folk and auts just driving them as get-around-town-mobiles that don't understand how much roll that off-road suspension makes. First flip and they think the things are death traps and swear by it, when the fact of the matter is they're using them wrong.
