Bought a brand new 2023 "Last Call" Charger RT DAYTONA in Octane red. Still only has just 230 miles on it. Best car I ever owned! Great looks, comfort and sound. With it's 5.7 HEMI V8, it's all the power I need and makes for a GREAT daily driver!

"Last Call" edition vehicles from Dodge pertain to ALL models of Challenger and Chargers. My former 2023 Charger GT ( a V6 vehicle) also was a "Last Call" edition. Feel free to do your homework on my answer and get back to me with an apology.
Great stuff as always Marspeed. The Daytona was a great trim, but it overlapped some of the other packages/trims. Maybe Dodge should've made it a 6.1L/6.4L exclusive back then. I also think the new Hellcat powered Daytona should've debuted with the Redeye setup instead (2.7L SC w/ 797hp).
That is true, it has always been overshadowed, first with the 5.7 and then even now it’s basically just a regular hellcat Widebody as well. I also think they really don’t market the Daytonas well because I see too many people in Dodge Charger groups on Facebook that don’t even know about them! 🤔
@@MarspeedCars yeah an special color, wheels and 10hp isn't enough. Maybe they should badge 797hp Chargers as Daytonas exclusively. The Daytona as they have it now, will be overshadowed once the Charger gets the Redeye setup later this year. Dodge should go all out and drop the Hellephant motor in with AWD!
I have the 2008 hemi orange daytona 12 year old car and I still get so many good compliments..I have a question tho is it normal for temperature always being in the middle..even if I replaced water pump radiator and radiator fans..

I got a regular 06 RT with exhaust work done a cold air intake and got it tuned to 93 octane I have not ran it at a track yet but it's definitely faster then the Daytona and close to the SRT but I'm not done yet ProCharger in the works!!!
I am also the proud owner of a 2006 GoManGo Daytona. Mine has a low number of #223/4000. It has been in my ownership since 2008 (15 years). Now showing 140k on the clock. All stock. Recently, got a new set of fresh tires. Paint throughout is bright and decals show nicely because of attentive TLC. Still remains a head-turner wherever it goes. Wish this 1st gen. (series) had shaker hoods (as standard) to compliment the HEMI call outs on the hood. That would have really "crushed" it for the overall package ! Suppose, I have always cared for it the way I have because it's the next best thing I'll ever have to my (dreamboat) 1968 Charger R/T which is now largely unaffordable to own. Newer versions have more power and upgrades that now make mine look like a dinosaur 🦖 but, that unique (one year) color of Go ManGo and the 2007 plum crazy versions are indeed special to see these days with so many used up or kicked aside for newer models.
No doesn’t look like it. You can’t order a Scat Pack widebody with a Daytona package in 2020, just a regular Scat Pack non widebody can be ordered with Daytona
I had a 2007 Sublime Daytona. Loved the car , interior was very comfortable. Then I kinda got tired of the loud color and traded in for a Dark Granite 2014 SRT8. The 2007 is still more comfortable.
I have a 2018 Daytona 392, in the Yellow Jacket color. What a fun car to drive! And no speeding tickets (yet)! Hey did you ever find out how many where made for the 2018 model year? Thx and great video!
While the Daytona chargers are superior in every way, I miss the Daytonas from the 80’s and early 90’s. They were just fun to drive. I guess everyone has their favorite Daytona.

Yeah mine has always run middle temp as well, the 5.7 definitely runs very hot so that seems normal
