The ice fruit feels like it should have an above 10 detriment score for the ability to freeze water which largely negates the basic detriment of all fruits.
the magma fruit is so hot, water would evaporate long before touching him, making him immune to it too
@@sorsalala3906 Akainu is probably strong enough to do that since he can evaporate glaciers instantly but normally magma isn't really anywhere near that hot so it feels like a lot to expect from the average user. I mean it's possible that the magma fruit is just that hot by default but that isn't my impression. Also if the user falls into the ocean and evaporates the water they'd still keep falling since they can't make a foothold. I wouldn't be surprised if someone at Akainu's level could shoot colder lava to make some kind of instant land mass when it touches the water but again that sounds a lot harder than using the ice devil fruit to freeze water.

The Goro Goro no MI is (theoretically) WAY more broken than stated in the video for one reason: controlling people's nervous system. Because the body is controlled by small electrical shocks from nerves to the brain, the user of the Goro Goro no mi could, in theory, control anyone with no restrictions. Definitely deserves the #1 spot
Honestly, yeah! All you'd have to do is touch someone to send them into complete cardiac arrest and more or less leave them paralyzed to die. You can knock someone unconscious, stop them into their tracks, or flat out vaporize them with enough power. If you're a sword user, anytime you stab/slice and opponent you can inject them with a deadly shock. On top of that, people forget just how insanely HOT lightning is! You holding a bolt in your hand would literally MELT people city blocks away!

Two things you forgot with the Hobi Hobi, when your transformed into a toy the entire world forgets you exist, really good for not having to worry about people coming to the rescue. Also as soon as a person in transformed you can make a contract with them where they have to do whatever the contract says.

Enel's fruit is insanely powerful and has tons of range and utility but the fact that he never kills anyone with one attack is infuriating. Everyone who gets struck by his lightning just gets back up later.
I mean he just casuaally punishes people. You could argue he doesnt really want to kill perse but rather wants to make people understand his power, it would fit well in his god complex. Lets be real, raigo would delete anyone in the one piece series, maybe except for luffy, as the only entity in the entire series.
Whenever he enacts "divine judgement" he definitely does, everything else is a game to him and he wants to see people get back up just to fail again, which is why he hates that he can't kill luffy, his only weakness
Well, One Piece has a lot of plot armor (though the fact that no one died and Enel thought that almost everyone was dead in the island was ridiculous). It's just part of its style, like in the case of Lord of the Rings, for example.

I love considering the potential of devil fruits - as if a Yonko wielded them. It would be epic if the user could attached themselves to a giant stone or diamond statue and animate the statue for immense strength and durability. Or receive Zoan-like abilities by merging with a powerful animal.

The usage of ability is still vague but I like to think that it can block ANYTHING that's thrown on it. Ultimate defense. Wich can be shaped into an offense or support. Yet unbreakable when formed.
I imagine if trained more you could shape it however you want , then make like a cube around your target and crush them to death

You forgot about Bari being literally one of the most broken fruits in the anime. It can block literally anything no matter what it is. All he has to do is create a simple hand gesture and then boom, indestructible barrier. It also seems Bartolomeo has a lot of ways he can shape the barrier, we've even seen him twist a cylindrical barrier at the top, so I would assume that means he has a lot more control of his Barriers than we've seen.
You could defeat a yonko with this fruit without even touching them like some of the other fruits.
1) Create a spherical barrier around the yonko.
2) Shrink the barrier.
Alternatively, you could also just carry them to the nearest body of water.
And you can make the barriers invisible!
You don't need to cross fingers in order to create barriers tho 🙂

Bartolomeo has always used his fruit defensively, but he was forced to create offense fighting Gladius in Dressrosa. Oda was also clear that the Grand Fleet captains were going to get MUCH stronger and would cause a historic incident in the future.
Barto on the attack pushing you with his barrier into any direction he wants is his best move. He could keep running at you with barriers up and pushing you away constantly like he did when chasing Cavendish/Gladius.

Enel is underrated. Enel is the actually one of the most competent pretimeskip df users imao. He could listen from like 1000km away with his logia fruit powers. We didn't see Ace controling fire from distance or any logia users doing something similar. All we saw is conjuring something from your body and shooting it towards enemy after. In terms of df-using skill he's similar to Ceasar. Ye, he has some flaws but he's imagination is pretty good. Him seeing himself as a god only boosts his imagination. Fruit is good for sure but you don't give Enel enough credit. Sugar on the other hand is different. If she grows into Yonko like BM with a toy army the world is doomed.
Enel also had crazy observation haki, they called it mantra in skypeia, which was also enhanced by his ability to pick up electrical signals. If enel learned armament haki in the past two years I'm convinced he will come back as a big threat

not rly... being able to make people into puppets is most likely a natural ability of the fruit, making a clone of yourself is most likely a natural ability of the fruit. those 2 things are already pretty strong assuming you yourself are fairly strong and then u have the added ability of barely visible basically knives... all of that is pretty good as a fruit, even if the name makes it sound not nearly as intimidating

the heat heat fruit on the contrary is a high level fruit, can completely negate akainu's magma fruit but the user is just dumb.

doffy's fruit is wayyyyy above average and you guys try and say that somehow him being able to control people by attaching one string to them, him being able to make a talking, moving, color changing clone of himself, and him being able to use some stitches makes him like albert einstein or something. THESE ARE ABILITIES THAT COME WITH THE FRUIT. HE DOES NOT HAVE TO MAKE UP ANY OF THESE HIMSELF. the only thing that is even close to creative out of all of those is maybe him being able to repair internal organs with stitches. you guys saying that doffy is smart for being able to make a clone of himself (that notice, obviously isnt just made of regular strings) is the same as saying that sugar was an absolute genius with here hobi hobi no mi because she told people to not attack her or because the people she made into toys would be forgotten by other people. it doesnt make her smart for using a fairly obvious command THAT IS AN ADDED ABILITY OF HER FRUIT that is to tell people "dont attack me" when making the contract. it does not make her super smart for having the passive ability THAT ALREADY COMES WITH HER FRUIT to make everyone forget about the person she turned into a toy.
doffy's primary ability to make strings and manipulate how they move has no way to turn into the ability to make a completely separate, unattached clone of himself that can move and talk and has the same appearance as him. this can lead us to the very obvious conclusion that doffy did not come up with this himself and that it is an ability that comes with the fruit. it is unreasonable to say something like "momonosuke came up with his ability to generate clouds to walk on so that he can simulate flying, he is such a genius". this same basic logic should apply to everything that doffy does since the ability to make somebody obey your every command and the ability to generate strings and move them around have nothing to do with eachother and one cannot become the other.

With concepts of physics applied, Enel can control magnetism as electricity through conductor produces magnetic field and can call the natural lightening which has more heat than surface of the sun. He can burn any thing inc. base Luffy.
I feel like the Fude Fude no Mi really deserve a spot on this list. It didn't have the strongest showings due to the user, but in the right hands, it's potential and utility are basically perfect, along with minimal detriment, since the user will easily be able to circumvent water using their power. Definitely one of the most versatile fruits to date.

Another thing that people often forget, electricity = magnetism.
So while Goro Goro no mi might not turn you into magneto, inducing electricity in all that gold Enel had around, would made for some powerful electromagnetic fields.
So it's one of those fruits where you get 1.5 powers for the price of one, that is already broken.
Not to mention free electricity, all you need is to buy a big chargable battery and connect it too your home.
That's a lot of money saved in a year assuming, especially if you don't use firewood to heat your home. Should you want to cripple and entire country or ruing a company you could simply fry all their servers or powergrids. Imagine how much power it gives over modern day technology by being able to restrict any form of electrical technology at will.
You're basically invincible.

I think one absolutely critical aspect of Hobi Hobi no Mi which you overlooked is the fact that when it's used on someone they are instantly erased from EVERYONE'S memories... like, that's absolutely insane. A Devil Fruit that can instantaneously alter everyone's memory to instantly forget you exist as soon as it's used? That aspect easily makes it the most overpowered Devil Fruit in my opinion. Think about it -- if you can reach an Emperor or any other captain or admiral, not only can you defeat them in one shot, but you also make all of their allies, subordinates and followers instantly forget that they even exist... think about the implications and how insanely powerful that is!! You can literally re-write history with that ability if you were a smart, competent user, and if you combine that with the fact that you are granted eternal youth -- you could practically rule the world forever. I would personally have put it at number 1 for the most overpowered Devil Fruit ability for that reason.
I'd say that hobi hobi and lightning should be tied for first, since neither of them have a super exploitable prominent weakness (only one person is made of rubber) and the only thing stopping either of them from ending the world is the incompetence of their users
I think Enel used his fruit pretty well. Forge things using gold (could use most of the metals as well), the way he traveled through objects, the hability to reanimate him self from dead, the fruit also gave him the skill to expand his mantra (observation Haki) up to the point to know where is everyone in every moment at least a few kms around him, the guy can turn into a freaking thunder giant! Give him some love, man. I know that when he arrives from the moon he will be really OP
I think that he was just regularly amazing with observation haki and that his df didn’t have an impact on that
Enel only lost because RUBBER was not something that existed in the Sky Islands and was his natural counter. He also beat Luffy the first time by thinking on his feet fighting somebody that can't be hurt by all his moves. He even deduced that cutting attacks would hurt him too.
@@suneelj93 Truth. The dude combines emperor-level strength with obscene levels of speed, flight, precision, heat, and range. As destructive as his DF is in terms of collateral damage, it's even more deadly to the body. With the exception of Luffy, he can straight up kill a yonko or fleet admiral if he gets serious. No living being can survive lightning of that magnitude. Enel's own particular logia makes him basically invincible in return, not even counting a boost from the Ark Maxim.
Imagine fighting Enel in the middle of a storm, he'd be unbeatable(unless you're WB, who can just blow the entire weather away using gura²).
Also, add to the fact that only Enel can hear sound using observation haki.
Thats the only reason why he knows who to kill among the people, he can hear them talk bad about him.

I want to see what you rated the gum gum fruit cause obviously the utility and potential is high. detriment can’t be that bad plus obviously it’s powerful given the right circumstances.
I feel like the gomu gomu would be up there too for obvious spoiler reasons. But even if we dont include those, you're basically impossible to kill from blunt trauma. You're also electricity resistant which means you would be the greatest electrician of all time. Ontop of that your elasticity would basically make you able to swing around like spider-man with your arms and gear second is insanely busted regardless of the detriments.
Nika nika fruit is hood but its way of making it strong is hard
you will have to be a very special individual to use it well and even more special to actually awaken it. it requires alot of training to be used correctly and it generally wont be really strong for most users. some other fruits make you instantly OP

So my head cannon with the hobi hobi no mi is that it doesn't just stop you aging . Sugar ate it a young age so it only seemed to do that. In actuality (in my mind) it reverts the user back to their childhood state(if they aren't already) and locks them at that age (so they can eternally play with the toys they make) also if a pure hearted person used it you could technically leave free will intact and have your friends live longer lives (as toys) and not have to outlive your friends.
I feel also that Vander Decken from the fishman ark with his ability to throw anything at anyone he touches with no resistance is also OP like he threw the Noah if he hadnt gone unconcious its basically an instant kill. Heaps of potential like throwing yourself or other people in a direction no matter the size at all.
The Goro Goro no mi is so broken it's ridiculous. I find it especially impressive due to 2 reasons
1. Despite being arrogant and not the smartest, Enel was able to pull of some amaizing shit
- he could hit anyone within a certain radius by combinig the fruit with his Mantra aka Observation Haki ability which is shit compared to what someone like Katakuri could do. On top ot that, the fruit enhanced all of his senses
- he was able to restart his own heart after he died, like a defilibrator
- he was able to combine his abilities with the natural effects of a thunderstorm, largely enhancing its strengh, to this day he remains the only Logia user to combine his own power with its natural counterpart. The combinded strengh could have destoyed the entire island of Skypiea, which rivals the acient weapons ot a Buster Call
- he showed the ability to melt and change the shape of gold
- he bulit a machine capable of flying to the moon, and produced enough energy to run it
2. There is a whole lot of potential that One Piece barely scratched on, or not at all. Like the ability to melt and reshape metal. There's electricity, which gives you abilities like magnetism, rail guns or powering hightech weapons with it. You could also do what Killua did with god speed and esentially give yourself a form of pseudo Ultra Instinct. Then there's Plasma, you know, the unofficial 4th state of mater, ionzied and highly energetic gas, the stuff stars are made off. I doubt that you could ever generate enough energy, but if you could, you could esentially create a mini sun, and cause a mini supernova. Or maybe even gamma ray bursts, shit is broken as hell.
The Goro Goro no mi combines ridiculous destruction capabilities with a nearly endless pool of potential and utility with no costs other than losing the ability to swim. Enel was pretty much a New Wolrld Level threat pre time skip and only lost because he was arrogant and Luffy his natural counter. Give this fruit to someone with potent Haki abilities and/or good knowledge about chemistry, physics and biology and they will be completely broken.
Vegapunk would be a monster with it...

I was thinking similarly. He iddnt have armamanet haki which is a big loss. Imagine like black lightning or some craziness like that. But his observation haki was some of the best in the whole series. Hos precision and knowledge of his fruit was on par with any skilled logia user we've seen to date. Its really just the missing armament haki that trips him up.

he wasn’t that bad of a user but he was very cocky and thought he was a god and didn’t find out better techniques with his fruit if his fruit was in the hands of luffy which he made his fruit very op then luffy would be super strong or if the fruit was in the hands of an admiral the marines would be super strong he isn’t a bad character but he is way too cocky and doesn’t try to use different techniques all he used are blasts and names them

Another great thing about goro, is that it’s natural counter element is so rare. Like ain’t nobody gonna have rubber just lying around on their person. The only reason luffy beat enel is purely because his fruit was the hardest counter in the entire series. Enel got so incredibly hard countered it’s insane.

When turned into a toy. Everyone who ever knew you forgets you instantly and forever. Unless you somehow are turned back to normal you are forever forgotten.
I do think that part makes it much more effective. Because what's deadlier than a serial killer? A serial killer that erases all evidence when they kill. In theory you could see her use her power and forget that she used it in the same second. There's very little defense to it. Also the more it's used, the easier it is to make more with the help from the toys.

Exactly, it's basically an 11 out 10 in terms of power. It's easily the most broken fruit in One Piece. And I do mean broken in an unsatisfying and bad way. Every fruit in OP has some sort of limit of range and effect. Sugar's fruit rewrites the entire world every time she uses it. It's a literal god-tier fruit that shouldn't exist.
To be fair I think this should also count as a detriment(in addition to power), because it also means that you yourself forget who it was that you turned into a toy, which can be a negative effect if you aren't careful. Also the fact that all of the toys revert if you ever loose consciousness, is pretty big and would give you an army of enemies if it ever happened.

she would need to put haki on every arm. when luffy just puts haki over most of his body in gear 4th he runs out of haki soon after and ends up being exhausted and having to run away from his enemy. if she learned finger pistol or the iron body rokushiki techniques then they would probably be a little bit better for most people she has to deal with

Honestly, I'm no physicist but the Gravity fruit (Zushi Zushi No Mi) sounds like the most absurdly overpowered fruit in the universe. From what my feeble brain can understand, gravity is a wave which works on both subatomic and planetary level. It penetrates walls and exists throughout the universe even in the void of vacuum. It's the fabric of space-time and reality itself. If you can control gravity at will, you could make impenetrable force field, slow down and control time, curve the light off of you making you become literally invisible and invincible. OR shrink the space in front of you and travel through distance at the speed that's faster than light itself. OR You can create a region where the gravity is so strong, making a black hole that can pull even Kizaru (speed of light) cannot escape. You could end the laws of physics and reality, destroy planets, and manipulate milky ways. You could also manipulate how particles at atomic level behaves thus tinkering with the evolutionary process of how living things grow and evolve, manipulating life and physical construct as we know lmao.

Also one thing to add with Enel's fruit that people tend to forget is that the fruit itself also contributed to a high development of mantra/observation haki that even granted him the ability to have the voice of all things. The potential he could of had if he wasn't too confident in his own "Bites the Dusto" ability. Yeah... Enel also is Kira Yoshikage what a coincidence...

Unlike other utility fruits, Robins draws directly from her own stamina, like Laws fruit. Damage to her extra limbs also directly transfers to her main body. Hers is definitely useful, but not a top-tier utility fruit.
