I think Hancock is worth mentioning actually. She has territory, a huge amount of influence over her massive crew and probably any horny male pirate crew, and she has individual strength. She's even got conquerors Haki

You're forgetting about the most head-strong pirate in the world: Don Chinjao. Commanded a navy, was a pirate, had conqueror's haki, and he had territory. Plus his head was so pointy and powerful he could pin himself through layers of ice.
Don chinjao got one shot by prime garp and beaten in his old age by lao G. He can’t push past the 500,000,000 bounty mark. So i doubt he can compete with some of the other top tier pirates.

It’s not out of the realm of possibility. I have a similar theory for the end of the story when Buggy finds the one piece by accident and gets crowded the pirate king while Blackbeard and luffy are fighting or something stupid like that.

Say someone had the power to explode hearts and brains from any distance was trying to snipe king. A meteor, earthquake or something would occur just in time to stop the attacker.
He’s basically as strong as Saitama ultimate powerhouses that whose abilities warp the reality they live in.

I think most ppl can agree that Marco is potentially the firmest/most stable yonko candidate, Rayleigh is also a very likely yonko candidate, mihawk has the power but not the personality, golden lion Shiki also is very strong , rocks crew also
Why Rayleigh though? Yes in his prime hes probably top 5 strongest characters in one piece but he served under Roger, was basically his shadow and didnt really lead anything. Yes I love Rayleigh but him as a Yonko just aint it. In his prime he can probably still beat Kaido or something but thats it.
Most of the rocks crew were already yonko though
Marco was notably weaker than Rayleigh in a draw when the Whitebeard pirates fought the Roger pirates back in the day.
Marco managed to stay on his feet during Marineford while his Captain, 2nd Commander, and other teammates perished in a losing team effort.
Marco led the remnants of the Whitebeard Pirates against the Blackbeard Pirates during the time skip and was soundly defeated leading to the crew disbanding.
Marco engaged several high ranked members during Onigashima in brief skirmishes and helped Chopper heal thousands of pirates from dying to the plague exhausting his energy taking him out of the fight.
Marco is one of my fav characters, but he's always left in a losing situation or an unfortunate circumstance.

GLR use hypothetical scenarios like Moria becoming super powerful and influential if he didn't lost to Kaido, or Crocodile actually getting the ancient weapon Pluton, instead of actually talking about their accomplish in the story 🤷♂️, like their individual power, their influence, their crews and territory.
Doffy accomplish far more than them. Doffy was easily the closest Warlord to become an Emperor.

Croc was on the verge of getting pluton and thus becoming an emperor. Doffy was still very far from emperor level.
Maybe because Doflamingo didn't want to become an emperor of the sea, based on his actions supplying Kaido, he wasn't included. If he wanted to, I think he could. Instead of making money selling smiles he could have gave those fruits to his own army.

A timeline where Katakuri became an Emperor in his mother’s place would be the best case scenario for the people of Totland. Perospero is an excellent leader, tactician, and fighter, but Katakuri blows him out of the water in every category, as you showed with your “top 20 best DF users” video.
Katakuri as an Emperor would help to balance the morality of the Emperors, with himself and Shanks being generally “good” guys, and keeping Kaido and Blackbeard in check.
Fun thought: Shanks might actually have the island of Elbaf under his territory or is allied w them

@@ultraegovegeta8873 I think she’s pretty underrated considering her devil fruit and Haki abilities and even though she clearly isn’t on Yonko level I think her huge influence as the Queen of an Island and her massive following of pretty powerful people can make up for that. I also see a lot of potential in her as a fighter even though we’ve never seen her go all out.
@@timhinfort1171 the thing is i think about it this way. Imagine A Top Tier character like an Admiral pulling up to the Kuja Island. The strongest person there would be be the Yonkou, Boa Hancock and tbh an Admiral would probably solo the entire island including Boa and that can't be the case if you're a Yonkou. No Admiral can just go to Wano or Whole Cake and fuck shit up there with Big Mom or Kaido there you know? Same goes for Doffy
Gecko Moria really got broken badly. Imagine a world where he won and kept his original crew.
He would have made something similar to Big Mom probably, creating a kingdom where scary freaks could roam free, in exchange for giving up their shadows for emergencies.

Only really after watching this video did I realise that an alternate reality where Gecko Moria kept pushing forwards is possibly the bleakest scenario imaginable in One Piece.
Crocodile, Doflamingo etc etc just wanted power and the ability to rule and do terrible things to get there. But if they won, the worst that could happen is having an asshole ruling you.
Moria could have spread like a plague, if you were an island under his control what possible reason could Moria have *not* to turn you and everyone else into obedient zombies? Everyone else is just fighting over who gets to control territory, Moria could have been a zombie apocalypse for the entire One Piece world.

I think Don Chinjao would be a great pick. At his best he had a whole nation behind him, he is a user of Conqueror Haki and managed to fight equally to Garp in his prime...

Don Chinjao was a great A tier fighter in his prime that would lose to Yonko commanders.
If Dragon wasn't a Revolutionary he could easily be an Emperor. The man who has the highest bounty out of everyone.
He has charisma, bravery, and incredible strength. Even went against the emperor Blackbeard off screen when Burges found the revolutionary hideout, and came out unscratched compared to Shanks who got hurt when he fought Blackbeard.
You are pushing now, we have no idea about Dragon power level, and there are millions of ways that he could get away in a situation like that, while at the same time we don't know how shanks got his scar (or even how old was he at the time). I think it is very safe to assume that shanks is significantly stronger than Dragon. The thing Dragon has the most is a drive to go against the world goverment, but in terms of power he is probably around Marco.

assuming Gecko Moria in his prime fought against a young Kaido... imagine if he won, he wouldn't be as pushover as now defeated by the pre-timeskip Luffy and overall a punching bag because he couldn't progress his powers and became a fat sack of bag.
also, Blackbeard seems to have an interest with Moria, luring him to his base and possibly recruiting him. we might see him like his prime in the future, who knows?
Or we'd be seeing a BB Pirate with Gecko's DF powers ( or maybe even Teach himself if the theory that he's looking for one more DF to complete his collection pans out)

Honestly can't see Moira joining Blackbeard. He entered Blackbeard's territory looking for a fight after he lost contact with Absalom, found out he was murdered and Shiryu took his fruit. Blackbeard wouldn't even need Moira alive since he can steal devil fruits.

Love your channel been into one piece since like 2016 and after switching to the Manga and finally catching up I just started watching videos on it recently you, more, O’Hara, tekking are great love seeing the different view points and referencing eachother
Doffy wasn't mentioned because he was scared of Kaidou's wrath and he seemed to be somewhat nervous of standing up to Kuzan. So, Doffy probably doesn't have the backbone of a typical Yonkou, unlike Croco Boy who seems to challenge anyone for the sake of it
I see not getting into conflicts you can't win a good thing. Doffy lacked a bit of power but was not that far off the top.
@@jmanaa9969 you're kidding right? He was lacking more than just a bit of power , he lost to Dressrosa Luffy. He was definitely an elite fighter, but he would've been decimated by the Sweet commanders and most of the Tobiroppo.
@@juicyjfan honestly I can't see him loose to any of the Tobi Roppo except maybe Who's Who. They are all currently stalled by the Strawhats and none of them would have beaten Doffy. I'd say he also beats Cracker, probably Smoothie and even Jack, just based on intelligence and versatility, even though you could argue about Jack. However I'd agree that there is a big power gap between him and the Yonko, so he'd be probably out for that reason alone. Also his crew is trash.
Beats Cracker and Smoothie? Luffy was able to turn the battle against doflamingo as soon as he went into Gear 4th. Cracker on the other hand survived having Luffy going into G4 multiple times. Had Nami not been around and softened Cracker’s biscuit soldiers (One of Cracker’s only weaknesses) Luffy may have lost. Saying he can beat Smoothie just doesn’t make sense.
@@hamzawaheed3343 why doesn't it? What has Smoothie shown so far? I'm not saying he beats her for sure, but she neither seemed to be a powerhouse nor a really smart fighter and her fruit isn't as useful either.
As for Cracker: in fact, he was getting hit once by Gear 4 and was out. His biscuits could take anything, but he himself had no durability. Doffy is smart, quick and a master of his fruit. He needs to get one hit on Cracker and that's GG. And why wouldn't Doffy be able to just control the biscuits with his strings?

Yeah it's weird that Croc was chosen as the most likely warlord to become an emperor instead of Doflamingo. He basically had a larger network and following, but I guess the only argument is that he's always been Kaido's lackey.

- He had more individual power;
- He had a way stronger crew;
- He had more influence in the world;
- He had a territory.
Even him working for Kaido as an ally was more like a business partner, he wasn't really being servant to Kaido.

However my problem is that is an "what if scenario...", the same argument that GLR used with him and Moria. We could do the same for Doffy, for example what if Law had become his right hand man, what if a subordinate of him have eaten the Mera mera fruit, what if he got the immortality surgery, or what if he could have got his hands on the national treasure.
But If you look what they actually accomplish in the series, Doffy accomplish the most. That is why he should have been recognised in the video

People forget how incredibly strong Shiki is... anyone who fights young Garp and Sengoku by themselves and destroys half of Marinefold is an absolute freak of nature! Not to mention his attempted clash with Roger. I really hope Shiki returns and shakes things up
Yea he is already like a Pirate King already all he needs is the title to solidify his position.. All Rocks pirate are like already Yonko level but WB and Shiki are the one who are equal to Pirate King
@@kimguir303 Yeah I fully agree with that statement. We already know that WB could've been Pirate King but instead he decided to stand in front of it. After Roger died, WB and Shiki were the only suitable candidates for Pirate King, which is one level above Yonkou in my eyes.
He fought garp and Sengoku by himself, got to jail, destroyed half of marineford but DIDN'T give Sengoku or garp recorded wounds... Please STOP overestimating shiki. He's weaker than wb and Roger by far but still emperor level
@@tolord1800 No one really cares if he is weaker or not than WB or Roger because none of that is proven. The fact Sengoku and Garp had to fight him together speaks volumes by itself. One of these monsters couldn't handle him alone for whatever reason, not to mention half of Marinefold got destroyed and I don't remember Garp or Sengoku giving Shiki any life changing or recorded injuries either, so what's your point?
@@Sweet_Karma My point is that this was a battle in the hq that there were a lot of people there.. Think about the fact that there were 2 people in order to make sure there were no casualties and it worked.. That fight was probably mid diff at best since the only thing recorded was a building destroyed in half which from shiki ability is pretty easy to do

There are expectations to Katakuri inherite Big Mom's post of emperor if she dies, a like to what was expected from Marco after White Beard died. Perospero also has a chance to be the captain, but not a yonkou.
Also, to Katakuri be in yonkou level, is missing to learn how to use conqueror's haki covering his body to attack.

Here's a hot take: Crocodile is the only emperor who used his status in a really good way that was benficial to him, maybe even better than Doflamingo

Bullet isn't canon though. For Shiki, he's a canon character but the events of Strong World are not. For Bullet, he's not canon at all. The events of Stampede and the character named Douglas Bullet are not part of the One Piece world. They never were
Well, they needed all Supernovas, 3 Shichibukais, some marines, and Sabo, to defeat someone like Douglas Bullet, a like to this fight would be needed in Wano against two yonkous.
Imagine Shiki just fly with his Ships joining the Wano war, that would be a badass introduction

I was just rereading chapter 1000, and one thing occured to me : when he's discussing with Yamato about the words Luffy said, Ace say not to mock Luffy's word because SABO and him would never forgave her. So, if my understanding is correct, he knew at that time that Sabo was alive, else why even mention him in that sentence if he still think Sabo is long dead?
Maybe he don't saw and discuss with him, but did in fact saw a wanted poster of adult Sabo, thus learning that he's still alive. If that's the case, maybe he is quite puzzled that Sabo did not try to contact him and tried to reach him on his own, but being the second in command of the revolutionnary armie, we can think that Sabo is not an easy man to locate and talk to, so Ace could never confirm the fact, and thus did not told Luffy when they meet later in Alabasta....
Of course, I can't be sure, but this would mean that what you consider being a incoherency in the story (or at least considered from the video I saw from you) isn't actually one....
I higly doubt that Oda would make a mistake in the chapter 1000 of all chapter....

@@soupryu That was not a question; GLR stated in some of his vids that Ace not knowing Sabo was alive, as Ace is not Luffy and should keep up with world news, thus heard about Sabo, was an inconsystency (which I agreed upon). But this SHOULD (obviously not a certain fact) lead to think that Ace indeed knew about Sabo being alive, thus calming one of the big issue GLR have with Sabo....
If Ace knew Sabo was alive, he would have told Luffy.

I never forget about Croco D. Ile! I also think that when we next see him, Oda will have fully retconned his power level to be more on par with that of other Warlords. He suffered from being an early villain, and haki not being a thing yet, but he had history with Whitebeard *and* Ivankov, and he held his own at Marineford.

Here's my hot take, Ivankov actually has reasonable potential given how powerful the okama kingdom is with their okama kenpo, plus Iva is a fantastic user of their devil fruit and clearly a capable figure in the world. Obviously, Iva is not a pirate but definitely meets the other requirements to a reasonable degree imo

You know what would be great? Luffy arriving at Raftel after defeating all the enemies, and there is Shiki waiting for him there, as the only person able to judge if you are worth becoming a Roger's successor. It would be so damn cool to see a Luffy's final fight like this.
I would like to humbly submit someone that I believe is one of the most underrated characters in One Piece, the Hero of the Slaves "Adventurer" FISHER TIGER! He let himself die and could have continued had he chosen to accept the blood transfusion. And he did some pretty impressive things that suggested he was actually incredibly strong and only would have continued to become stronger had he lived longer. And he definitely had influence, both having his own crew in the Sun Pirates, his connection to Fishman Island meaning he would have at least had the support of a sizeable portion of an entire race, and also many powerful slaves that he freed who almost certainly would have rallied behind him had he attempted to become an Emporer, including the quite dangerous Boa Hancock, her crew, and as a result of her station, the whole Kuja Tribe of Amazon Lily!

Katakuri’s payback war is fun to imagine. He would probably have to face Perospero (and the Big Mom pirates that follow him if any) and then wouldn’t settle until at least King was dead- if he decided to engage him immediately he would probably even ally with the Strawhats.
